It wasn’t until you came in and without a word knocked me on my ass that I started slamming you (rightfully so) with a locker. I mean if someone walked up to me and deliberately shoved me to the ground with out saying anything I'm gona punch them in the face. If she was actually trapped then it was an accident or you simply saw wrong. My point, I wasn’t chucklefucking once. I moved two tanks a few times and in the end hit an engineer twice in the maintance shaft behind genetics. I hit her after she came back a good three or four times to take a look at the self moving water tanks. She could always have walked away. I didn’t chase her around I didn’t leave my lab, until you came in and fucked with me. only one that was chucklefucking around was you. I was expecting for him to at least ask for the cart back or call security to get the cart back. He didn’t say a word, right after I grabbed the cart he just knocked me on the ground and started striping my ID so he could break into my lab. /very/ chucklefuck behavior. Had he called security I would have immediately returned it, safi is impulsive but she’s terrified of upsetting security.

You act like if I touch a fucking object with tk that automatically counts as chucklefucking. In fact it started with good rp as the engineer thought the station might have been haunted or something. After she showed you, you came straight in without a word and knocked me on my ass. So yes I’m gona take revenge and steal your simple janitor cart. What did you do then? “one thing leads to another” my ass, You thought it’s prudent to push someone over lay your hands on them steal there ID and break into a research laboratory (again with almost zero dialog). Yes I’m gona call security on that shit. Why the fuck didn’t you call security over the napping of the cart? This really should be an IR report and in the end you’d be the one arrested for breaking into a research lab. *edit* also not once was that engineer trapped, she could always have just moved the tanks out of the way. I was originally gona make this a player complaint but then i was told by admins to submit a ir instead. But since we're complaining about how shitty rin is heres my experience.

Safiya first stabilized Rin Fukuimoto then moved to treat Anthony and stabilize Anthony. As she was working, Rin stood up and started pouring a full bottle of alcohol down Anthony’s throat while he was unconscious and in critical. This could have easily killed the already dying Anthony. Safiya pushed Rin back and rushed Anthony to medbay. She left Rin to be treated by other doctors. After Safiya saved Anthony she found out Rin had died due to complications and being uncooperative during treatment. Upon Rin’s cloneing she demanded her things back from Safiya. Safiya was turning the items over to security as evidence for the attempted murder. Rin’s response was to rush into medbay surgery take the scalpel and lung at Safiya trying to stab her. Being surrounded by security at the time Rin was quickly apprehended and Safiya was unharmed. This was the second attempted murder in one shift by Rin. Safiya isn’t sure what lead to Rin’s release but Safiya ran into Rin in medical hall approximately 20 mins later. Without a word Rin smashed Safiya’s head with a glass bottle and lit her on fire then began assaulting safi. Safiya managed to subdue Rin with a syringe of sleep toxin and the assistance of security staff. The sleep toxin seemed to induce a case of SSD but Safiya was fearful of her life and needed to defend herself. Safiya was treated for major head trauma, bleeding, and burns, by other medical staff. The next shift Safiya saw Rin come in as a security officer. She was not aware that Rin had the requirements of security officer but Safiya does not feel safe on board a station that employs someone who will attempt murder three times in one shift and is obviously psychotic. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? Every interaction I’ve had where jackboot was in authority has always been unpleasant. Every decision he’s made concerning me ended up needing to be reverse because of how absurd or bias his ruling was. Starting with travis 12 months ago where he didn’t even interview me, coming to safi 2 months ago where he gave me a warning for saying “what she say is not his business” which is apparently to aggressive for taj to say. Every one of his decisions concerning me has had to be over turned. Whether his decisions and rulings are bias because of metagraduging against me or he’s just inept at making reasonable decisions; either feature is not desired in a DO officer. Now some of these warnings are whitelist warnings coming from his lore master authority but it still highlights a character of bad decision making, not something you’d want as DO.

Let’s not forget that he apparently said in the “your ss13 confessions” forum that he likes to make sure players he doesn’t like have a terrible time. Which you know, is a kind of metagrudging and something generally looked down upon in DO’s. Though the post was removed shortly thereafter… Can we get a confirmation on this?

Topless'ness aside: I, personally, would just like the_ (fuck, that sound so cool ;_; TheUnderscore) to tone it down, and to "empathize with/immerse into" (these probably aren't right words) the character. Why would the geneticist fiddle with their genes like that? Wouldn't others be making fun of them, or maybe they would face off-work consequences (being fired, or warned, not just by DO corp, people can even fire their own characters, if they think it's justified and appropriate), or perhaps they should fear some strange genetic, permanent disabilities, sicknesses and diseases? I believe, genetics isn't just: "punch a few buttons = you're a hulk; press some more = you're no more a hulk", I believe those are years of risky researching and testing. There's a reason we have paperwork (waivers) and protohumans. Genetics is supposed to be difficult, unsafe and dangerous field of research, not something where you can give out powers like candy, and not fear any repercussions. Also, I would like to note, that maybe posting things like: "so tired of this bullshit", "this has literally become children complaining about nothing" or "relentless bitching about air" is probably not the right way to defend yourself, you are just repeating stereotypes and schemes, of a really upset and aggressive pro-furry-someone. Not to mention she only does it during appropriate times such as when shes wanting to relax or after a game of basketball. Literally nothing sexual about it. never has been… Oh no she has tk…dude, martin has gotten hulk every fucking round he’s been on for two week straight. Shes also a geneticist… I don’t feel like going through the rest of this list to explain why this has literally become children complaining about nothing.. I’ve had complaints dating back ages and every single one of them (with one exception) has been found to be baseless bullshit that I have to fight tooth and nail over because of this wild complaining. Valkrae didn't just wake up several days ago, say "I FUCKING HATE FURRIES" and decide to make this complaint like several people seem so intent on believing. I, an retired admin with literally nothing against Thefurry. Am saying that I saw Travis, as a Atmos tech, exercise far beyond the knowledge he was allowed. Rebuilding an entire section of the hull singlehandedly, now if you care to believe Furry over me and Valkrae. That's an entirely different issue. Wow the fact that I have to constantly defend myself over every action…it just gets tiring. But fine, let me explain in detail what went on that round because apparently you weren’t paying attention to what actually happened. Even though it was verified by admins and everything was fine and well within the limited agreement we came up with 10 months ago. Two days ago there was an explosion in mis-science causing a breach. Travis was the first one to respond to the area as Manfred and other engineers where busy with other breaches and this one was lowest priority. The Idea was to give the person that has the least amount of experience the smallest issue. Now at first I was just cleaning up debris from the explosion, simple enough. Then I started placing hall and tile down to at least seal the breach (something I verified would be ok to do). Basic breach repair and refilling the room would be well within a bachelor in atmos. Meanwhile I was calling out to manfred and other engineers requesting them to help me because travis has no idea how to run wire, fix disposals, and fix an apc that blew. You keep saying I fixed the entire thing by myself? Why am I asking on coms for someone else to help me with practically everything else other than covering the damn hole (literally the only thing Travis ever does when assisting in breach repair is cover a damn hole). Anyways… Manfred came by and started assisting in the patching up of everything. Travis started to run wire, or at least attempted to but as an assistant he had his ass handed to him when he got a severe shock by a live wire. At which point he would have gone to medical but by this time I was being bwoinked by admins because someone somehow thought I was just doing everything all by myself being some kind of glory engineer (even though the hall wasn’t even close to being fixed) and I decided to just cyro. Now how do we go from Travis derping his best to cover a hole, pick up a few broken pieces of glass, then shocking his ass to ‘omg he fixed the whole damn thing by himself’ were you even paying attention? Fuck I’m so tired of defending myself…I used to be so pleasant on the forums too. *edit* I cyroed well before the breach was even fixed, so idk how you got I fixed the damn thing. but just for some clarification, the only reason i started placing wire oocly(as travis doesn't know how to do it icly) is because travis is full of himself and over confident. and what would most likely happen to an over confident assistant? they would attempt to do something they don't know how to do and get their ass handed to them for it. which is exactly what i was intending on rping.

so only once in the existence of travis have I ever fixed a breach solo. and I hardly did that, manfred had to help. any other time I've been around breaches its because I was assisting other engineers fixing breaching. and in the end its irrelevant because i varied with scopes that its ok to fix breaches.

I was going to leave it with just that but out of respect for you skull I’ll answer your questions. Even though these are the same questions I answered way back when. Answer one, no, I’ve only ever done atmos and xenobiology with travis. Answer two, Travis has a phd in bluespace xenology (study of bluespace and creatures associated with bluespace) and a minor in atmos tech. To translate this in game, He knows xenobiology as it relates to bluespace. He knows telescience, and he knows atmos tech. This is a fairly straight forward duel major/majorminor situation and easily attained for a 30 year old. Let alone a 35 year old. Which im still butthurt that I had to wrekcon in the first place. Answer three, the previously agreed upon deal is fine with me, it’s recently been verified by scopes that assisting with a breach can be done under atmos tech (breach fixing is something travis rarely ever does anyway). I havn’t even gotten into the amount of other charaters that jump departments fairly frequently on this server and I won’t bother. But, since delta’s taken a couple of shots at me I guess I’ll do the same. Delta..you actively play Talia Varick right? Talia who is a Head of Security (which requires advance understanding of SOP, Law, officer conduct, and must have a basic level of understanding of the rest of security), and a Research director (which requires one phd in a specific study and high level of understanding of multiple branches of research and basic understanding of the rest…not to mention the command training both those positions require. If you have such a hard time with Travis who has one simple major and one minor, please I’d love to hear your justification on talia…actually on second thought never mind, not here anyway, enjoy defending yourself on your own player complaint about this very topic. Where are these agressive tajara i keep hearing about? When was the last time a taj clawed someone over being called a cat? I keep hearing about how terribly agressive all the other tajs are but really ive yet to see one log of it actually happening. This thread was created over a month and a half ago and to date there have been zero player complaints, zero incident reports. If this bullshit is so blatantly bad that you guys keep screaming cats are to agressive then fucking prove it. Its been over a month. I will gladly take that challenge because i dont believe the taj community does half the shit you say it does. So by all means, find an agressive cat, log it, post a complaint, if you cant then shut the fuck up. Cause up until now all this claiming and bitching about tajs has been completely unbacked. Were going on 2 months of this bitching with literally zero logs to support your claims. And ill give you the same damn challenge for safi. She doesn't go around asking for sex. Finally, the reason the taj players are bitching about the lore writers is because they are literally the closest example of the thing you guys are bitching about. You mean the lore writers? One of which has perhaps the most agressive taj on the server, the other has a taj that is a head of personnel... just from their actions it shows that taj are more accepted than just slave labor.

Make it so its not every round. Maybe a 30% chance cratey will spawn so its only every three or so rounds we see him. It would be a nice refreshing change *edit* It would be nice for security to respond to this rather than the chucklefuck that messec up chemistry. Its a nice change up every few shifts XD

I never know when to make a new topic or expand on another. Anyways. Swap a crate or locker for a mimic at random locations at start of round. This is to expand upon securitys cratey. I saw the idea and thought it was hilarious. Only, I dont play security so I will never see the antics. Alot of other people don't eather. Make it so at random at the beginning of the game one locker or crate is the mimic cratey. The crate will always be different so no one will know which one it is. This brings the antics of cratey to other departments and will give something for security to respond to on the earlier parts of the round

So instead of just removing the atmos testing thing as suggested we should offer something to replace it. so here’s three ideas that I think would be nice to give antags more options. I don’t exactly know how to disable safeties but I think it should be something that is hackable so more antags can do it. These ideas will serve as good distractors for different departments rather than just destroying the entire station. Atmos testing – The area in the holodeck becomes space. This will cause vents and breaches but can be fixed a lot quicker than the massive explosion the original test was. Medical testing – anyone that enters the area gets a random virus Security training – xenomorphs, I know we have space carp but that always seems underwhelming and easily handled. If not xenomorphs I do think something more formidable than space carp would be a good idea. The idea behind all three of these is to give antags a chance to distract crew by having them deal with something else. None of these are detrimental the way the original atmos testing is but still must be handled or it can become an issue. IDK if i should have created a new topic because the original did not have any suggestions, so i did.
