It's the datacenter being hit from what I was told, not the hosting provider or server itself. That's waaaay beyond what the admins can do anything about.

I think we need to look at adjusting/replacing/generally changing around some of the forms in the database, to better fit what we currently know and understand as regulations and protocol. I'm not sure what the best way to go about suggesting these adjustments is, but for now I'm going to go one form at a time (As I personally see issues with forms), put them up in a single thread, make my suggestion, and see if anybody has anything they want to add/change based on what I've suggested. Then, see if the admins approve of the change and the devs want to put it into effect. Firstly, I'm looking at NCF-0106 [Execution]. Currently, this form implies being able to print it out, fill it out, and sign/stamp it as a Tribunal to authorize an execution - Except we don't have tribunals, and the current lore law states that executions persons that are not an immediate threat to crew must be approved by Central Command. Just so everyone's aware, yes, the server is down. Sounds like there's a DDoS hitting the datacenter, or something to that effect. Us duty officers really need a way to see all the faxxes/messages that were transmitted to and from central since the start of the shift - Especially for those of us joining in mid round. We had a bit of an issue during a shift where one DO had authorized command staff to discreetly card a rogue AI. That DO was on-off AFK, another DO (Myself) joins in midround, and about half an hour in gets a message from the AI stating it's just been kidnapped and stolen by intruders. Naturally, second DO asks about it, then sends a message to the station reporting this theft and asking wtf's going on, even though CC technically should've already known. It'd be really nice if there was a verb to see a log of messages, or a console/machine in the DO ready room that printed out a copy of every message.

Sealeg continued to be less than pleasant as an officer, and I had to kick him out of the construction area because he was trespassing and attempting to conduct arrests and searches without a warrant. Later in the shift, he was seen running around in full riot armor during code green, and assaulted me with a baton before stealing my flash which I was using to attempt to defuse a situation. Whoops, I just understood that. Do people really discuss them like it was gossip? That's sorta silly, I always assumed they were private. Somebody ought to clarify that. There has been a few reports where several people chimed in on the incident.

I had a discussion with other DOs awhile back regarding the chain of command for the purpose of Kunai's ranking system, and while this was /not/ an official decision on who commands who on station, what we came up with was something along the lines of this: ERT is called: ERT Leader > ERT Trooper > Captain > Command Staff (There is also the ERT Commander and Duty Officers, but they rarely show up if at all in game, and for DO's even if they do appear, they have no authority over the emergency situation) ERT Escort for the DO: ERT has no authority over the station beyond what's necessary to ensure the DO's safety. DO commands the ERT until ERT decides there is a threat to the DO, then the ERT takes charge of the DO.

There was only a single valve keeping this mixture of gasses from ending up in the distribution loop. As I'm writing this, I'm currently purging all of this crap from the pipes so atmos can be somewhat usable again. I ahelped to find out what caused this, and I've been told it was the /Chief Engineer/ (Andrewroo) on duty, who you'd think should know better than to muck around with atmos like this.
