  1. Only Tajarran I can think of that would have been QM is Houssam Jawdat.
  2. I always just try to play along the lines of 'I have no idea what this is or whats going on, oh hey, people are going mute randomly with no outward signs of injury? Maybe its a pathogen. Oh, it only happens around this guy? He must be the disease carrier. Virology needs to quarantine and investigate him and everyone showing these symptoms of becoming mute' for example, in response to a ling that used silence sting on half the security team throughout a round.
  3. I was introduced to SS13 by a group of friends who played on Paradise. I don't quite remember who this was, but I'm 99% sure it was Loow... One of them told me how to put a paper bag on my head. But didn't tell me how to take it off. I panicked, and then someone walks up, takes the bag, throws it in disposals, and walks off without a word. I also saw a mime being dragged down the hall by a clown. The squeaking still haunts me to this day,

    The List

Should probably condense all of the Katana's listed to a single line, since it's all technically a single character/AI Katana - Free AI developed by the Katana Project, working with NT under contract. Alpha = Station AI, Bravo = Android, Charlie = IPC, Delta = pAI Also, enjoy the new captains: Sean Zelios - Laid back Captain. Started out as a chef/bartender, worked his way up with a smile. Sarah Wolfe - Stick in the mud 'bitch-captain' that expects everything done five minutes before asking. Also runs Security with an iron fist.
  5. ((I'm still going to be out of town for this week. Best I could do is someone's pAI as Katana, but even then I might be unresponsive for parts of it because work
  6. These are a couple ideas I've had for the Mutiny game mode, and some of the directives, that might improve the round based on what I've seen and heard others mention during these rounds. Firstly, the way the end-round determines whether the directive was legit or not doesn't really incur a fear of 'What if what I'm doing is wrong?'. As it is now, it's essentially whoever 'won' that was in the right, which isn't necessarily the case. Instead of that, is it possible for the round to randomly decide whether or not the directive was valid at round start, and therefore whether or not the loyalists or mutineers 'win' isn't what matters on the Odin, but whether or not the directive actually was valid, and the right actions were performed. Alongside the above, if the directive's validity is pre-determined, there could be some things added to the round that could hint toward this. For the 'bluespess disease quarantine' directive, maybe 15 minutes before the termination order would take effect, some of the listed individuals to quarantine start showing odd symptoms - I.e., loss of hair, or some other symptom that could be considered harmless, but still a sign that something is wrong. Another issue that was brought up in a recent mutiny round, which was the disease quarantine directive, is that an hour is not enough time to ICly get the quarantine organised and create allies for the loyalists; As the AI during that round, I had kept myself 'on the fence' so to speak, waiting for the head loyalist or head mutineer to start trying to convince me one way or the other, or hack my laws (Which the Captain eventually did the latter, but after things started going bad with the termination order). I'd suggest giving the quarantine two hours to wait for a cure, then be executed, instead of one hour.
  7. Inb4 Cult of the Squishy
  8. Why not just let people decide if they want to alt+tab and copy paste, or use the requests console to print it out by making both an option.
  9. She needs to be played more, so we can totally do that "Dyed our fur, oh god why did we do this." RP. For the Dakka, of course! But yes. Pink Tajarran EMTs going WEEEE WOOOO WEEEE WOOOO would be glorious. "He warned her command would suck. He warrrned her!" She went back to running cargo as a Quartermaster for a few shifts after that... xD Had lots of fun interactions, want more. Get back home so we can have more Ziva :I Still my favorite character to play, and I plan to get more out of her when I do get home A very interesting, unique meta-character idea that doesn't break immersion. My only issue is it's tricky to know what form they are in, even with the extra designations. Second favorite character! I need to figure out a better way of helping people identify which Katana is there, although maybe the confusion can be a good thing. Just from her voice on radio, you wouldn't be able to tell after all, since it's the same voice regardless of chassis. But, just for reference: Alpha - Station AI Bravo - Android/robot (No longer in use, in favor of the IPC chassis) Charlie - NT Contract IPC Delta - NT Contract pAI Echo 1 - IOV Rankov pAI Echo 2 - IOV Rankov IPC
  10. I like them. My only complaint is that the doors /do/ kind of blend in with the walls around them.
  11. Anybody have any thoughts/complaints about any of mine? Ariana Eshlian Katana (Alpha/Charlie/Delta) Miraj Zi'Ad Rasine Ha'kim Sairis Helosi Sarah Wolfe Sean Zelios Ziva Mo'Taki
  12. Vox as a playable species Is good, yaya!

    "Wat" Mechanics

As Stein saw earlier... Lockers that move themselves, close around a hostage, then shoot off down a hallway with him. I still don't know what the hell I saw.
  14. Intel HD graphics. Yeeeeeah.
  15. Katana does.
  16. I thought the hud existed because it can be attached to prescription glasses?
  17. If you have access to the forum, it's right above the general boards section

    Siik Maas

    Pretty much this, really. xD

    Siik Maas

I think it should be the same as it would take to learn any other language realistically. A lot of studying/practicing with those that know the language. Also, as Siik'maas also uses certain gestures/movements and probably tones a human isn't capable of (Humans cant purr/growl like a Tajarran), there would have to be something that would show that ICly as well.
  20. Dark blue with the yellow jacket, and a dark blue/yellow EMT Armband?
  21. Are those actually in Aurora code? I'd like to whip up some equipment in my local repo. I didn't see 'em when I looked. I'm not sure on the green/yellow colors. For some reason it more says custodian than EMT.
  22. I like that backstory, and I've seen Samiya around a few times here and there. +1 from me, maybe Katana can be Shaw's deputy
  23. inb4 this actually becomes athing on the new map.
  24. Helosi: 'I need the doors and lights fixed in security' -Lights actually get fixed because there's a janitor to do the job on the engineering channel-
  25. Oh, you want /all/ the Tajarran? Give me a few to get descriptions sorted out for Rasine and Miraj too, then.
