  1. So far, the Tajara team wrote nearly everything, with the unathi's team permission and oversight, related to Gakal'zaal. Because of this, there is a real lack of response from Unathi forces outside of the planet to what is going on there. What are your plans for Gakal'zaal in regard to the planet's content (lore related to culture and etc for example) and the ongoing developments?

  3. Military Announces New Medical Program 25.02.2465 As part of Field-Marshal Vyakelas Klyuchevsky's efforts to modernize the military, the Royal Army announced a new medical program to boost the performance of its soldiers. The initiative will invest in the creation of new medicines, treatments, and exercise routines. The army is now searching for volunteers interested in taking part in the initiative. Able Tajara under the age of thirty can apply for the upcoming selective process in their nearest recruitment center; veterans will have priority. The participants will receive monetary compensation and paid healthcare for the duration of the tests. Further details about the project are still unknown. The medical program is being developed as part of a new partnership between the New Kingdom and the Empire of Dominia. Dominian researchers are being dispatched to aid the army's development team with their expertise. In exchange for this help, the Crown lifted many tariffs and taxes related to trading between both countries. The Mercantile Flotilla will also establish extra routes to Moroz to strengthen these economic ties. This assistance will not include the sharing of any geneboosting-related technology; army researchers made clear they had no intentions of developing anything close to it. The news of the program and the partnership was met with some skepticism by the Parliament. Grand Duke Akym Yudenikh praised the Kingdom's efforts in consolidating its relationship with the Empire of Dominia, citing the many economic benefits it will bring. Grand Admiral Mahtra Dynhaas warned the Crown about growing dependent on external help for its defenses but ultimately did not oppose the project. Prince Serhiy Oliinyk urged Her Majesty to search for more allies besides Moroz. Count Tscherim Sanguszkho suggested concentrating the research efforts on unlocking what he called "the Ancient Tajara gene". Many soldiers and veterans expressed interest in signing up for the program. Since Field Marshal Klyuchevsky's bill to increase the soldier's wage was turned down by the parliament, many servicemen have been looking for extra ways to increase their income.

  5. Liberation Army Expands Nuclear Research Program to the North Pole The Liberation Army Research Division announced plans to transfer a part of its nuclear research to the north pole. The proposal was born from an invitation by First Mate Dimha Rhamazir for the military to further expand its development efforts in the area. An enrichment facility and a laboratory are planned to be built in the region in the following months. The deal was signed with the permission of Supreme Commander Nated and Captain Usta Gorsh'kovy. Kandaza J'shar, who was not consulted, complained to the National Assembly about the move. At the National Assembly, Bakhteiarova Mirzakhani stood against the expansion and suggested stopping the research and production of nuclear weapons. Almrah Harrlala sided with the Blue Party and pointed out that the deal did not respect the Crevan participation in the expedition. Ex-interim president Brajrr Alnadruskiy argued that conducting nuclear research at the north pole was safer than in the rest of the country. Maksym Razin supported the Free Tajaran People's Party, claiming that weapons of mass destruction were necessary for the defense of the Tajaran soul. Supreme Commander Nated refused to change his instance on the situation even after Commander Kahan Hro'rammhad requested that he reconsider his position. Commander Kyff Hotak complained about the supposed encroachment of the civilian government over the Liberation Army's autonomy. With no decision coming from the Assembly, the Liberation Army has already dispatched more equipment and staff to start the construction. Kandaza J'shar later accepted to help the expansion after Captain Gorsh'kovy promised a large cut in the next wreckage's recoveries. The Blue Party's supporters organized a demonstration in Shastar against the Al'mariist nuclear program. Images of the detonation at Quizosa and its victims were paraded through the city.
  6. The backstory needs to be two paragraphs long at least. Expand it a bit more, please.
  7. Application accepted.

  9. Massive Fossil Deposit Discovered in the Eastern Nraz'i Mountains 15.02.2465 Scientists dispatched to assert the damage caused by the earthquake in the Eastern Nraz'i Mountains returned with unexpected news: the tremors uncovered a massive fossil deposit. The geologists stumbled upon the discovery when surveying the region with autogyros. A massive fault was opened in the mountainside thanks to a landslide. Inside the fissure, the rock was littered with countless fossilized remains of long-dead animals. The researchers gathered some samples before returning. A request to fund an expedition has been sent to the Party. The proposal was discussed in the Palace of the Free Tajara. Minister of Education Kalim Khazdar defended the idea, explaining that the People's Republic would benefit greatly from studying the Adhomian natural history. Minister of Technology Zhuldyz Hadii opposed the initiative, arguing that the resources should be used for more useful research. Party Secretary Yakiv Hadii swayed Minister Hadii's opinion by suggesting that the prehistoric creatures could be cloned with some help from corporations. Headmaster Harrrdanim Tyr'adrr suggested investing in the People's Strategic Intelligence Service instead. Minister of Defense Irbaykhan Mirarkiizar offered to deploy extra soldiers to the region to safeguard the expedition. President Hadii agreed with the request and ordered the Ministry of Education and Technology to work together to study the fossils. A team of biologists, geologists, and paleologists is now being organized to study the findings in the Nraz'i Mountains. The expedition will be sent in the next month. Due to the damage caused by the earthquake, the excursion will be supplied with the help of the People's Air Force until the supply lines have been repaired. Until this moment, no real effort has been made to explore the Adhomai's natural history. Fossils have been regarded as mere curiosities. From now on, the People's Republic will unlock the secrets of the past to guarantee the future of the Tajara!
  10. Royal Peacekeepers Arrest Criminal Behind the Parliament Bombing Attempt! 12.02.2465 Following a quick investigation, the Royal Peacekeepers announced they have identified and arrested the Tajara responsible for the bombing attempt on the Parliament. The terrorist act, carried out in December, interrupted the meeting that would likely elect the Appointed regent; so far, no attempt was made by the Crown to fill the position. The suspect is Misha Rrhikaslavy, a 51-year-old Hharar, who worked as a gardener in the Parliament. He was already interrogated by the Peacekeepers and is being held in a disclosed location. Misha Rrhikaslavy confessed to the attempt and claimed to have worked alone. The explosive was made using scrap and gardening supplies that the suspect had access to. The knowledge to build the device was acquired through extranet forums; agents discovered printed bombing-making guides in Misha's house. On the day of the act, Rrhikaslavy entered the Parliament by claiming that he was only there to collect some tools. The terrorist deposited the bomb and then quickly left the scene. The device explosion was also severely delayed because its timer was a cheap domestic clock. Upon being interrogated, Misha Rrhikaslavy explained that his sole motivation was to avenge the death of King Vahzirthaamro Azunja. He believed that the previous monarch was assassinated as part of a plot involving Queen Shumaila Azunja and the Parliament. The criminal thought that by eliminating Her Majesty and the parliamentarians, the Kingdom would become an absolute monarchy with the ex-field marshal, Rrhazhal Zarkradar'Akhan, as its regent. Rrhikaslavy also blamed the Kingdom's parties, the Queen, and the megacorporation for the failure in reconquering Adhomai. The arrest was widely discussed in the Parliament. Grand Duke Akym Yudenikh thanked the Royal Peacekeepers for their shift response; he further suggested expanding their capacities by buying more corporate-made equipment. Grand Admiral Mahtra Dynhaas demanded the death sentence for Misha Rrhikaslavy alongside more strict punishments for acts against the Crown. Prince Serhiy Oliinyk argued in favor of placing the terrorist in a mental asylum due to his supposed insanity. Count Tscherim Sanguszkho suggested that the explosive was shoddily made because Misha likely had ancestors of mixed heritage. Queen Shumaila Azunja decided to allow a civil court to handle the case; she assigned Magistrate Lev Alekseev, the one who judged the Tajara involved in the Bunker strike of 2463, to preside over the case. The terrorists will be put on trial after the investigation has been concluded. The Royal Peacekeepers did not discard the possibility of another group being involved; no evidence pointing to this possibility has been found yet. Multiple conspiracy theories regarding the bombing attempt have emerged in the extranet since the incident. Some claim that the army was behind the act; they would supposedly use the explosion to perform a coup of state. Other users blamed the Skrell, the Zhan, Tajara of mixed heritage, the People's Republic, and the Liberation Army.
  11. You are not banned here. What ckey did you try to join as?
  12. Here is the rule you broke in question: Now, we move on what happened. The problem is that dropping the spoilers had no purpose other than ruining someone's enjoyment of something. If it was in the middle of a discussion or something even related to it, it would be a totally different problem. But this was pretty much doing a bad act for the sake of it. If you wanted to make someone aware of whatever the issues are with the game and its author, there are better ways to do that. Even if this was for a good cause, it is still a clear example of breaking the don't be a dick rule. There was no discussion, no conversation, it was pretty much done out of nowhere in the ooc channel. Essentially, what you did was being mean to someone with no motive tangibly related to the person, and everyone else, that said they had finished downloading the game. I agree with this ban. It was a blatant violation of the Don't be a dick rule. The merits of separation between the author and their works, ethical consumption, and other things should be discussed elsewhere. You can appeal this when you understand that having a good cause does not justify acting in bad ways.
  13. I will handle this. Give me some time to check the logs.
  14. Spacer Militia Launches Expedition to Explore Sani'Orios' Rings Thanks to the latest diplomatic victory over the Hadiist menace, the Democratic People's Republic is free to explore S'rand'marr. Even when Gakal'zaal, a planet located in another system, is controlled by their nation, the Al'mariist presence in their own sector is negligible. The National Assembly tasked the Spacer Militia with exploring their home system to establish bases and outposts to stop the possibility of another blockade in case of war. Because of its multiple moons and asteroids, Sani'Orios was chosen as the first target. President Almrah Harrlala made clear that the outposts will be mainly used to protect civilian ships. Ex-interim President Brajrr Alnadruskiy suggested establishing military bases first to prepare for another skirmish with the Orbital Fleet. Maksym Razin proposed weaponizing Sani'Orios' asteroids by attaching propulsions to the stone's surface; he called this idea "a divine weapon to smith the enemies of the Gods". Bakhteiarova Mirzakhani opposed unnecessary expansions, arguing that more space structures would put a further burden on the future ruralist plan of isolating Adhomai. Commander Kyff Hotak urged the National Assembly to further increase the collaboration between the ALA and the Spacer Militia. Because of the new operations, the Spacer Militia has started a recruitment drive. The PVSM is now offering better salaries and benefits. Any Tajara joining the Sani'Orios reconnaissance mission will receive a bonus due to the dangerous condition of the planet's orbit. The Shastar Technical University is currently working on new technologies to aid with space exploration. The National Assembly is also offering monetary compensation to any civilian who is able to provide information about the planet's ring systems and moons.
  15. Hi, sorry for the delay. Answer kingoftheping's questions, please.
  16. Dealing with things over pm does not change over time. It becomes a game of telephone. If you have any solution, go ahead and written it in the policy suggestion. We speak to people a lot. I pointed out in the complaint that resulted in this topic that we spoke to this person in question 14 times before any kind of ban was applied.
  17. Because anything else does not work. We tried. We had people report stuff in private pms, and that proved to be a mess to track off and ended with staff and players doing totally opposite things. The forum is the best way to solve this due to several reasons, including bookkeeping. If you have a better solution, you can propose it in the policy suggestion. We unlocked this topic and staff is speaking to them. Unsure what you even mean here. Yes, each case is a case, but permabans should not only be issued to griefers. There is a point that you can't justify keeping letting people go and must take action. The rules should be fair.
  18. The point is that you are just soapboxing instead of doing the right thing. You took the time to call them out without even reporting their behavior. There was also a considerable delay between the posts and it being locked. Report any posts you have an issue with and don't assume anything. And yes, it is. You can't say "we were better back then" when you were not even there. I also showed you how silly the rules were. Feel free to see examples of the erp rules in action in old staff complaints.
  19. It also speaks volume that you decided to point it out instead of reporting it.
  20. Make a staff complaint if you think people used their powers unfairly. Report people in the forums if they are being breaking the forums rules. I already explained this in the latest staff complaint. We have this. Because it is literally written in the rule in question. That is usually why bans are reject, but each case has its own merits. Rules go above in character interactions, it is more important than what is going in character. The server pms are not the best place to keep arguing for several reason, that is what the forums are about. There are example where staff actions has been overturned in complaints. Each case has its own merits, so it depends. No idea what this is even about. There is a policy suggestion forums for that. That is an assumption from someone without access to the notes and server logs. Besides, we should not take a single person's experience and considerations as the truth. Breaking one different rule at the time is still breaking a rule. If you keep breaking the rules, you will be punished. Thinking this way is how we ended with players with multiple permabans and up to 80 notes that were still a problem after years. This was a massive mistake by the administration that has been gladly solved. Already explained in the complaints. We did that already. Your experience does not equal the whole situation. Ultimately, we have to apply the rules to everyone, no matter if they are bad people or not. And yes, it is meant ot be enjoyed, but by everyone. Banning people make sure most people can continue to enjoy it. If you only knew how aurora was five years ago, or when this was written. I will just leave this rule we had when the server was created (this is also two years before I joined): So, as you can see, it is a rule that says that admin can mess with people. So, without being rude or anything, you have no idea what you are talking about. If anything, we have come closer, without even being aware that these three phrases mean, to these ideals. I don't think we should even care about whatever people wrote in 2013, its influence is pretty much long gone. But, it is a bit silly to even say that we lost our way when you have been here for less than 1% of the total server existence. Now to be clear: Report any post you have a problem with. If you don't agree with staff action, make a staff complaint.
