  1. Where? In aurora? I think this is taking a step back. These were removed from pretty much everywhere since they were not popular with anyone in the team. Why are these examples needed? I also think you have a big issue you should work on before considering joining any team: you are quick to accuse people to bad intentions out of character due to things they have done in character. This also applies to lore. I have seen you a couple of times claim that writers were insensive just because they wrote something negative that was somehow close to something that happened irl. The biggest example was complaining about the Mars' violet dawn because it was similar to a tornado you experienced. I think this is really a big thing that would cause a lot of conflict between someone who has a lot of administrative power over the team and the writers.
  2. Sorry for the delay. The horizon release got me very busy and I wanted to wait until you could answer to the questions. The biggest issues I have with this application is the backstory and how it lacks any tangible Tajaran element. Sure that the character is living in Little Adhomai, but the political situation, besides the poverty, has zero effect on her as character. We don't know what S’ajii believes, where her family is from, or what are her allegiances. I recommend that you make a character that was born and raised in Adhomai for your next application. Application denied.
  3. Her Majesty and the Crown Heir Visits Vlrralkhzazhul Line 12.04.2464 Crown heir Zhakmar Azunja, alongside Queen Shumaila Azunja and Field-Marshal Rrhazhal Zarkradar'Akhan, visited the Vlrralkhzazhul Line today. Built following the offensive of 2459, the Vlrralkhzazhul Line is a mighty system of defenses meant to protect the northern areas of the Kingdom. The royal trio arrived via train and was escorted by a detachment of Ras'nrr Expeditionary Marine personally led by Mrraka'te'almalik Marrmeladov. Due to security concerns, the visit was unannounced. The tour began with the underground system. Her Majesty and the Crown heir visited the armories, pillboxes, and bunkers where brave royalists soldiers held the line against the Hadiist enemy. They visited the main mess hall next; the Line's dining hall is famous for being able to serve up to nine thousand Tajara. Her Majesty ate a slice of hard bread with some fatshouters bloodpudding and had a glass of Messa's Mead. The Crown Heir was served some mashed Earthen Root alongside a cup of Mutthir. Field Marshal Zarkradar'Akhan refused any meal offered to him by the chefs. Her Majesty then visited the air defenses systems and artillery positions. Soldiers demonstrated the might of the Vlrralkhzazhul Line by firing their guns simultaneously. The sound of the weapons scared the Crown Heir, who began to cry. Despite the attempts by the soldiers present to calm Zhakmar, he only stopped screaming after his nursemaid attended to him. The next stop was one of the construction sites of the ongoing expansions. Queen Azunja met with military engineers and specialists from the Dymtris Polytechnic College. The visit ended with Field-Marshal Rrhazhal Zarkradar'Akhan telling some of his First Civil War stories to recruits. The session took close to two hours as the Marshal frequently misremembered events and had to backtrack multiple times. In the end, Crown heir Zhakmar Azunja fell asleep and had to be carried back to the train. Queen Shumaila Azunja promised to visit other areas of the Kingdom to "show the Crown Heir his people and land". Upon hearing of the visit, Grand Admiral Mahtra Dynhaas departed from the capital to the Vlrralkhzazhul Line. However, Her Majesty had already left when he arrived.
  4. Today we are definitely switching to the Horizon map. For those who are not aware, the NBT was a project to change our map from a station to a ship. The new setting will allow us to bring a breath of fresh air to the game and the representation of lore in-game. Instead of being stuck in a single place, we can now visit and interact with everything the aurora universe has. The Horizon has a lot of new mechanics related to being a ship, alongside with a couple of new unique away sites to visit. The story of the NBT is rather long and tortuous. At first, it was a colony-building idea, but then we switched to the ship concept. While the first years of the project only saw some limited map work, this and the last year were essential to finish the NBT. Thanks to the amazing work of our mappers, coder, and spriters, we managed to finish the project. Our thanks too to everyone who played during the testing weeks, reported issues and gave feedback on the forums. The wiki team has also done a great job in updating the wiki. The plan now is to work with the lore team to decide where the Horizon will go. We will add content based on where the ship is visiting. Soon the code will be in the public repo and people will be able to contribute to it. Any mapping issue can be posted on the github without the nbt tag on it. You can now make suggestions outside of the nbt topics. I hope you all enjoy the NBT. Here is the changelog of what was changed (might not be totally accurate):
  5. President Almrah Harrlala Holds Rally for Upcoming Elections Due to the presidential elections at the end of the year, the National Adhomai Worker's Party organized a rally today in Shastar city to support the reelection of President Almrah Harrlala. The event was held at the Heroes of Gakal'zaal square. Thousand of Tajara from across all of Adhomai were present to take part in the demonstration. Music shows and movies were broadcasted to those present before Harrlala spoke to the crew. Arzjun Haurjuhr, who came from Tau Ceti, was present for the airing of the director's cut of his notorious movie "When Summer Came to Nazira"; the filmmaker also took the opportunity to affirm his support for the president. Supreme Commander Nated refused an invitation to the rally. After the cultural displays, President Almrah Harrlala, alongside party members and Commander Kahan Hro'rammhad, climbed the stage. Harrlala's presence was applauded by the crowd. The President then made a speech addressing her plans and the election: Shortly after the president's speech, Commander Hro'rammhad was given the floor: Following the declarations, President Harrlala and Commander Hro'rammhad toured Shastar city. Kahan met with senior researchers at Shastar Technical University to discuss future tank developments. President Harrlala visited an orphanage administrated by the Parivara. In preparation for her visit, the orphans made drawings to represent what they expected of the future - Almrah held the drawing of a map of Adhomai with the Al'mariist flag planted on its top to the reporters. In the Das'nrra Imperial Palace, the President had a brief meeting with Arzjun Haurjuhr about the possibility of filming a movie about her life.
  6. As much I enjoyed reading this great piece of fiction, unfortunately, we only allow characters backstories. If you want to continue with the whitelist, write a character for it; the other answers are perfectly fine.
  7. Hadiist Movie Festival is Held in Nal'tor 03.04.2464 Organized by the Ministry of Education, the Hadiist Movie Festival is a three-day-long event where the brightest filmmakers have a chance to show the public their latest pieces. On the first day, two productions, selected by the Ministry due to their high quality, are aired. The other days are reserved for minor and amateur flicks. The event was once held prior to the Second Civil War, but due to the conflict, it quickly fell into obscurity. Minister of Education Kalim Khazdar revived this great tradition with the blessings of President Hadii. Actors, directors, and screenwriters gathered today at Njadrasanukii National Movie Theater for the main screenings. President Hadii, accompanied by Yasmin Piaf, was personally present at the event. Minister of Education Kalim Khazdar personally received President Hadii and guided him to his seat. The movies were also broadcasted through television and the extranet. The first movie was "Adhomaykh". Directed by Andrei Govorukhin, the motion picture tells the history of two Tajara families, Shozomyn and the Ukhramin, ranging from the First Contact to the Armistice. The film is divided into five parts and has a total of six hours. The production was praised for its heroic depiction of the common Tajara people, the use of synthetic instruments in its soundtrack, and its stunning screenplay. Adhomaykh, so far, is the most expensive Adhomian movie ever made. The second movie was "A Tajaran Final Wish". Directed by Oksana Melikian, the film is a story about a group of People's Republic stellar explorers in search of a supposedly alien structure capable of realizing wishes. The picture was acclaimed by critics for its exploration of the character's inner psyche and its enigmatic ending. The Orbital Fleet was involved in the filming, as most scenes were filmed inside a spaceship. The first day of the Hadiist Movie Festival was considered a success. President Hadii personally met with Andrei Govorukhin and Oksana Melikian to congratulate the directors. Minister of Education Kalim Khazdar promised to be present for the rest of the two days. The second part of the festival will also include films made by the off-world Tajaran community

  10. Liberation Army Launches the New Navy The Liberation Navy was left in a dire situation after the Second Revolution; it was reduced to a few ships, with most of its crew disbanded. The nation had no real presence in the seas of Adhomai until now. Thanks to the efforts of the civilian government and the Liberation Army, the navy has been reborn. During the past months, the shipyards have been working tirelessly to build new ships and repair old ones. The city of Crevus played an important role in providing specialists and trained workers. While the new navy is close to half of its capacity during the peak of the war, the peace will likely give it enough breathing room to expand. Currently, only light cruisers and corvettes have been built. Supreme Command Nated called all sailors and captains who had retired to return to service. Enlistment has also been expanded to anyone willing to join the navy. Commander Hotak suggested keeping the navy light and fast, so it might assume the role of harassing enemy supply lines as it did during the war. Commander Hro'rammhad proposed expanding and modernizing the navy to match the standard of the other Adhomian nations. Nated did not comment on further developments. In the National Assembly, President Almrah Harrlala expressed the necessity of rebuilding the navy to safeguard the sovereignty of the Democratic Republic. Ex-interim President Brajrr Alnadruskiy praised the expansion of the Liberation Army. Maksym Razin ordered the priests of Minharrzka to bless the ships when they leave the ports. Bakhteiarova Mirzakhani suggested redirecting the shipwright production to civilian ships instead, so the government might invest in traditional fishing instead of the military. Rahman Hadjuk asked for the deployment of the navy around Amohda as soon as possible to stop the Royalist smuggling. Ahem Kah'nrir called boats decadent. The navy is currently in its deployment phase. Naval exercises and assignments are expected to take place next month.
  11. Crevus Investigation Points to Off-World Community Today in a meeting with the National Assembly, the Adhomai Joint Intelligence Committee has delivered its reports on the investigations carried out in Crevus. In collaboration with the city's council, the agents localized a hideout used by the terrorists to conduct their operations in Adhomai: an abandoned building in Liceland. In the house, they found evidence linking its previous inhabitants with the theft of radioactive material. After extracting information from the locals, they uncovered the identity of a suspect: a Tajara who had spent five months living in the house. The suspect was quickly located by the Committee: but he was found dead in a hotel room last month. Luckily, his body was still at the city's main morgue waiting for his family. The cause of death was ruled as poisoning at the time; traces of alcohol were also found in the bloodstream. Private investigators hired by the Mayor were already investigating the death, but they did little progress in uncovering the truth. During the agents' visit to the hotel, they discovered that another individual reportedly visited the suspect when he checked in; the second Tajara could not be identified. When investigating the room where the body was found, the agents encountered a notebook containing a series of contacts. All of the addresses and numbers were from Mendell City. The Committee, unable to act outside of Adhomai, decided to bring their findings to the government. The discovery of these new leads was controversial. Ex-interim President Brajrr Alnadruskiy called the evidence an "alien false flag operation" and called for the closure of the investigation. Maksym Razin suggested involving the Liberation Army in the case as well. Bakhteiarova Mirzakhani, citing the lack of proper safety in the power plants, called for the shutdown of the nuclear program. President Almrah Harrlala decided to end the investigations and hand the evidence to the Republic of Biesel. Supreme Commander Nated did not comment on the issue. The Republic of Biesel thanked the Democratic People's Republic for their efforts and promised to continue the investigation.
  12. Hello. The NBT is essentially done. We decided to announce that we are switching to the Horizon on April 9. We will have around three canon events in the weeks leading to the release. This topic will also be updated with a changelog of the non-map related changes as soon we are done compiling it.
  13. We will have great news about the NBT soon. For now, thanks everyone for the feedback and the issues.
  14. Rescue Mission Delivers Report on its First Excursion 20.03.2464 New Kaltir has reported to the Parliament today the results of its first land incursion. A team, led by Yevgeniy Chalnik, left the base to survey the proximities. The group used aerosleds and was guided by an experienced explorer. After two hours, they stopped at a place known as the Whispering Fields. Supposedly built during the Gunpowder Age, the Fields is a kilometer-wide circle made of several aligned obsidian slabs. The crew stopped to analyze the monument. Geologists took a sample of the stones for further analysis. Doctor Chalnik explained that the Fields were likely built by explorers under the orders of the Das'nrra Empire. However, no documentation about the construction was ever found. Prince Arseny Rogozhin claimed that the monument was used by Ancient Tajara for long-distance transport and communication; he also argued that other fields existed through Adhomai but were destroyed. The argument was interrupted by Captain Tajrhalrr Zarkradhir who ordered the expedition to return. The land survey failed to find any trace of the missing personnel. Costal patrols have also returned with no results. In the Parliament, Grand Admiral Mahtra Dynhaas recommended retreating from the North Pole if nothing conclusive is found in the next months. Grand Duke Akym Yudenikh proposed deploying the air force to help search the region. Prince Serhiy Oliinyk suggested using Ha'rron Sleds for transport and the establishment of extra outposts to cover more ground. Count Tscherim Sanguszkho remained in silence reading the transcript of the argument between Chalnik and Rogozhin. Queen Shumaila decided to implement Grand Duke Yudenikh and Prince Oliinyk's ideas. Balloons, autogyros, and sleds are being dispatched to New Kaltir. Orders to found new outposts have been also issued by Her Majesty.
  15. After taking in consideration feedback, what we observed during the testing weekends, and discussion in the developer team, we decided a while ago to remove the service manager role. So I guess this suggestion is pointless.
  16. Polar Expedition Makes Scientific Breakthrough 17.03.2464 During its monthly video audition with the Minister of Technology, Trokhym Przhevalsky, the current expedition research director, has announced that his crew has made contact with an anomaly and recovered never-seen-before research data from the encounter. During a survey of the area nearby Rhagrrhuzau Station, a crew of five Tajara encountered a plasmageist floating close to the ground. A plasmageist is a lightning anomaly frequently seen above the North Pole. Until now, no Tajara has even interacted with one personally. The encounter was filmed: With the exception of the anomaly's victim, the expedition was able to return to the base safely. Further analyses of the remains, site, and footage revealed that the plasmageist triggers an explosion capable of vaporing flesh and hazard-resistant material at contact with solid matter. The sphere kept its structure until it was subject to violence. Trokhym Przhevalsky expressed interest in researching the phenomena and requested an increase in the budget. The Research Director suggested that the plasmageists might be a non-carbon lifeform. It is still unknown how the anomaly is formed. Minister of Technology Zhuldyz Hadii labeled the incident as "one of the most fascinating discoveries of the century". Minister of Defense Irbaykhan Mirarkiizar suggested deploying automated turrets around Rhagrrhuzau Station to protect it from the plasmageists. Party Secretary Yakiv Hadii was opposed to expanding the polar mission's budget any further. He later changed his opinion when Minister Zhuldyz promised to help the mechanization of the national industry with prototypes from the Institute of Orbital Research. President Hadii approved the extra funding. The remains of the dead scientist are being shipped back to his family in the next week; he has been awarded a Messa's Virtue Medal at the request of Party Commissar Refat Rrhakaslav.
  17. Parliament Approves the Heritage Encouragement Act 10.03.2464 The Parliament was shaken today by an audacious project presented by the Njarir'Akhran Renewal Fraternity: the Heritage Encouragement Act. This law proposes an increase of 10% to the salary of any Tajara working in positions considered traditionally accepted for their ethnicity. The proposal also had an entire list of professions and areas assigned to their respective ethnicities who are eligible for the bonus. The bill was introduced by Count Tscherim Sanguszkho with a speech: Prince Serhiy Oliinyk denounced the proposal as discriminatory. Grand Duke Akym Yudenikh asked if the project would only affect national companies. Count Sanguszkho explained that the megacorporations were excluded from being required to apply the bonus when working in the Kingdom's territory; he later claimed that any Tajara working for an alien enterprise had "already sold out their heritage in exchange for some meager pay". Grand Admiral Mahtra Dynhaas supported the motion, citing it as a way to reward the soldiers who fought for the Crown. Queen Shumaila Azunja abstained from voting or opining on the issue. The proposal deeply divided the Parliament. All of the Renewal Fraternity's members voted in favor, while the Commoners Party voted against. The Officers and Royal parties were split in half. Most of the Royal Party voted in favor after Count Tscherim pointed out that Njarir'Akhran working as parliamentarians were included in the wage raise. With most of the Parliament's support, the Heritage Encouragement Act was accepted. Despite Prince Oliinyk's protests, Her Majesty refused to interfere in the decision. All national businesses now have three months to implement the bonus. The eligibility is based on the ethnicity present in the official identification documents. Megacorporations operating in the New Kingdom are exempt. The raise was well received by most of the population; however, some intellectuals and activists criticized the Act. Major complaints were related to the fact that Tajara with mixed heritage were not included in the law. Prince Oliinyk promised to organize a demonstration against the Act.
  18. 33rd Victory Day Celebrated Across The Republic! 04.03.2464 Since its creation, the People's Republic has fought valiantly to bring the light of Hadiism to the Tajara people. Today the people honor its victory over the countless enemies who tried to enslave Adhomai. All cities across the country joined the celebrations of the 33rd Victory Day. Public squares, parks, and bars were full of people gathering around screens to watch the parade. Hro'zamal Soda sales hit a new record since the drink's introduction. Since its pacification last year, Chaniska was allowed to commemorate the holiday. The island's border garrison was put on high alert for the duration of the festivities. The police and intelligence services reported no incidents or arrests so far. Thanks to the safety brought by the Expeditionary Force, the people of Hro'zamal were also able to organize their own parade. President Hadii, alongside his ministers, gathered before the Palace of the Free Tajara; the building tripled in size since last year. The ceremony was inaugurated with the traditional presidential speech: After the services honoring the fallen Hadiist heroes, parades began in Nal'tor. The ceremony was inaugurated by the members of the Hadii's Youth Clubs. The army came next: motostrelki divisions, tanks, Party Commissars, Ha'narri, and Republican Guards followed the Clubs' members. Division EE's suits alongside the Tesla Brigades marched behind the Grand People's Army. At the request of Headmaster Harrrdanim Tyr'adrr, Zbrojny forces, flanked by People's Strategic Intelligence Service agents with Cybernetic Ha'rron, also took part in the spectacle. In a display of air prowess, People's Air Force's autogyros flew over the crowd. Minister of Defense Irbaykhan Mirarkiizar commented on the army's situation in a brief press meeting: At the recommendation of Party Commissar Refat Rrhakaslav, Rhagrrhuzau Station celebrated the Victory Day. The mission's personnel enjoyed Victory Gin and Zkah'nkowa while waiting out a snowstorm. Research Director Trokhym Przhevalsky promised to launch a brief expedition around the installation's surroundings next week. In an exemplary display of loyalty to the Party, the off-world community in Mendell City held their own parades and parties to pay tribute to this important holiday. Alcohol was sold at a special discount to PRA citizens by the Bochonok Brewery. Republican flags hung from President Hadii Living Complex's windows. The Adhomai Chronicle wishes everyone a great Victory Day, from Adhomai and beyond.
  19. I think it is an issue when the few times you engage in it and it usuallys ends being something negative. Because there was no point in coming after the vote was done and announced to propose a new method, when that could probably have been done before, just to point out that we did something wrong. And when I explained why we did that way, you replied by making a strawman out of my argument: I said it was too complex for the vote, and you said we should delete the nbt because it is also complex. That is clearly arguing in bad faith. Saying that we were either lying or not prepared was also just throwing wood in the fire. When we announced the start of testing, everything was ready to go. That is why there was roughly a month between the announcement and the start of the testing. And as we can see, we did the tests on the day we said we would start. So, yes, it was arguing in bad faith because you were not adressing what I was saying and just making a strawman of what I said. You were not striked because you did not believe in the official date or whatever.
  20. You are making the accusation here, so you kinda need to explain how I was wrong. But, from what I remember, you barely participate in the community's out of character and just showed to keep poking the holes/issues we had with the vote. Then, you moved to say that we would not release/do the testing in time (which we did) and kept making outlandish arguments like trying to compare a one year old project with the vote we had to run to continue making stuff because we needed a ship name. You did the same thing when I made another announcement about the NBT.
  21. I did not ban you as you can see in the warning. I don't even talk or want to talk with you, unsure what you wanted to happen when you decided to bring up something that happened close to three months ago. Also, you don't use the discord to make requests, that is what staff complaints are for. Besides, I did not reply to your request with a gif of cope: You made no request here.
  22. Application Accepted.
