Thank you for the detailed application. I appreciate the effort that went into it. I have a few questions and nitpicks but I believe they can be easily addressed. Nevertheless. It might be a stretch that in Sol, they'd grant a shell it's own ship on a solo mission although a small team, consisting and headed by a few humans, is certainly more feasible. This also might further explain as to why Dorian went undetected, as Skrell only have to do a mental ping to find out whether someone is organic or not. However, did Dorian travel into Skrellian space? Given the relationship between Skrell and synthetics, this would pose an issue. How did Dorian make it from Sol space to Tau Ceti space and eventually the Aurora Station?

I don't agree with the suggestion. As a Forensic Technician I already feel as though I am drowning without a Detective while I balance both piles of samples and interviews. There is simply too much required of a Forensic Technician (without a Detective) and although it may be worth giving the Detectives access to the lab, I can only imagine how frustrating it'd be when late joining and the Detective either refuses to hand over the kit, or with two kits, simply walks all over the FT, stealing the role from them. I can't speak for the Detective but personally I believe the Forensic's role currently has the perfect balance between being able to RP while also being able to participate in game mechanics. Also please god no, not one slot. It's bad enough as is for Forensic Technician characters trying to fight for the slot.

I wanted to possibly suggest having all of the departmental security titles still in the security manifest. Whenever I play my Forensic Technician, I have a bit of trouble knowing which departments have an Officer and which done. As such, Security needs only look at their department roster and the other departments will look to Security to see if they have an Officer with them on shift. I reached out with the Unathi team and although nothing particularly clashes, there was worry regarding the abrupt departure from the commune to match across the desert to Camp Integrity as it'd be incredibly dangerous and worse-so for an IPC. Instead, what was proposed that they waited until the exile commune left and made it's way to Tau Ceti, effectively hitching a ride with them. If you're willing to adhere to that then I think we're fine. I'd only be curious as to if the ownership story would change and/or how.

I like the idea of a particularly aged IPC that has seen a lot. It's often a rarity and can lend itself to a sort've wise or experienced individual. Nonetheless, the only minor issue I feel might be the bit on 'retiring' from the IAC. The organization might still claim ownership although, I am fine with the idea of the aid corp effectively doing away with their ownership given what occurred and thus, Heph was able to enter Tau Ceti space by being purchased by David or, that David Mwabe instead purchased the IPC through the IAC. All minor details however. Just for clarification on my end, is Heph-Medic S1.U8.C2439 currently free?

I still don't see a reason to remove the jackets. Plenty of people use them. Why not just update them to better reflect the aesthetic? Also isn't the green jacket the same green used for a proposed Librarian sweater vest outfit? I'm not sure if that was implemented or will be, however.

Thank you for addressing the concerns! The issue more in lies that in writing a whitelist application, you're presenting a believable character that should reflect the lore. Exceptions can be made but it means for requiring a stronger case to back it up. What role will this character be on station? Assistant? For a final pass could you clean up the paragraph breaks in your app as well? Just for easier reading heh.

Keep in mind the application needs to be two paragraphs at the minimum. Can you expand upon that as well as this portion? Additionally, although minor, is their name Victor or Charlie?

Thank you for answering the questions. More my question was in regards to why Nanotrasen would purchase a shell but refit them to be a Roboticist? After all, in the slew of units available to them, they could purchase a unit manufactured for or familiar with Robotics. Although oddities occur, I wanted to inquire as to a reason, since the story, from a conceptualization standpoint lends itself better to an IPC in service.

Typically I prefer people apply three months into joining the server so to make a presence in the community and familiarize themselves although exceptions can be made. However, the bar for quality is raised. With that being said, why was a singer repurposed to be a Roboticist? Through diagnostics, what prompted them to discover they were a Roboticist? Additionally this line. What does it mean? Also you mention this but, what is there other right?

In my time knowing you I've never seen you get into any drama or say anything suspect. You're always a happy bean and a pleasure to rp with. In fact, I'm mad that I didn't know you played these characters otherwise I would have been chasing you down!!! Also I believe you tend to frequent low-pop times, where we always need moderators and admins most. I've posed this question on another app but I want to offer the same to you. Being a moderator can be at times miserable. Do you believe you will be able to handle the stress? Will you do anything so to take care of yourself all the while handling moderator responsibilities? A big +1 from me regardless.

Borya is an incredibly creative, level headed and well rounded person. I honestly wasn't sure who was going to apply for the maintainer position because both Borya and Schwann are wonderful choices. Thank you for expanding on the application. I like the idea of an IPC indebted to loan sharks however I think it needs tweaking. Reasonably speaking a bank or a loan shark likely wouldn't hand that many credits to effectively a slave. Although if you make your IPC much older, therefore they would have paid into purchasing their freedom more overtime (reducing the loan required), a loan shark is viable. Consider that maybe an incident urged Roman to take action and acquire his freedom sooner. Otherwise, although miserable, Roman might not have a reason to in-debt himself to questionable people. Nonetheless, I did a bit of digging and for players who are relatively new to the server (excluding the few rounds you've played in the past), the bar for white-list applications is much higher. Keep in mind that the backstory needs to be two paragraphs as well. I will deny your application on the basis of playtime and a lack of information for now but you are free to apply in two weeks. You may apply with the same character although I recommend the changes or suggestions above.

I don't think the existing jackets should be removed from the lockers. By them being there, they aren't an inconvenience. I have seen Forensic Technicians offer their jackets to Assistants who are trailing them and the same could be offered the Cadets who want to learn from them. A touching visual way of sort've taking someone under your departmental wing. Also, another player told me how they like to switch jackets depending on antag play. Removing the jackets removes these opportunities for players.

Could you expand on this portion here? Quoting the Alien Whitelist Format thread, two paragraphs are required for the character backstory. Could you expand on their backstory? What chassis are they? Where were they manufactured, how old are they? So on and so forth.

Sounds good! Keep in mind an IPC is intelligent enough that it wouldn't require hard coding in order for it to understand who it's owner or chain of command is, however if you want to run with that you're free to. Nevertheless, the application demonstrates an understanding of IPCs. Thank you for addressing my questions! Accepted!

Although I can't speak for OOC, I've greatly enjoyed rping with or near Hanru Smith. Hanru is a particularly realistic and fascinating character and your writing is very good! With that, I believe you would be able to handle the role-playing elements of the job swimmingly. +1

I came to know your character Roy when first starting out on the server and if my memory serves me right, your stationbound play was good. Out of curiosity, was Rosie memory wiped in being sold? Or more that her memory was in a way 'updated' to have Nanotrasen as her employer/owner? Either option is acceptable.
