People’s Volunteer Spacer Militia Mobilise in Response to Piracy The number of piracy incidents has continued to rise since the beginning of the Anti-Bandit Offensive in Gakal’zaal. The daily reports are reaching alarming heights as many ships are attacked on the route to the colony. The pirates have been attacking transports indiscriminately, however it has been reported that ships equipped with Liberation Army identifiers were treated with much more hostility. It has been estimated that more than a few dozen ships have been lost, and triple the amount damaged or looted since the beginning of the Offensive. The situation is further exacerbated due to the shortage of phoron that forced the People’s Volunteer Spacer Militia to reduce the number of patrols available. A large majority of the ships available to the PVSM use phoron drives for long distance travel, and the Spur’s ever-growing shortage of the substance has caused difficulties in sourcing the fuel. President Almrah Harrlala and the National Assembly have agreed to secure additional funds and equipment for the defense of Al’marii space in the system of Gakal. Ziran Halmirrir, a commanding officer of the People’s Volunteer Spacer Militia has released a statement to the public: While previously the entire system of Gakal was patrolled in groups of six ships across the entirety of the system, the patrols will now be limited to reinforcing the main supply routes of Gakal. A large number of the Militia’s phoron-based ships will remain to defend the orbit of Gakal’zaal. Occasional scout Hailstorms or other retrofitted ships that have access to warp drives, alone or in groups of two, will patrol around the rest of the zones to warn of pirate presence to nearby ships, but avoid engagement. The effects of the ramp-up in piracy are already visible, with Free Gakal’zaal Station working at full capacity and ships in queue for repairs and resupplies. Captains are encouraged to cooperate with the PVSM and make use of escort to ensure that they reach their destination safely. Many freighter captains have praised the announcement, but some remain pessimistic about the state of security in the system. “This just changes who I pay bribes to.” one Unathi captain said. The People’s Volunteer Spacer Militia has dismissed claims of bribery, calling them hearsay and fake rumours spread by enemies of Al’mariism.

S’rand’marr Piracy on the Rise, Orbital Fleet Responds 23.06.2464 There have been increased reports of piracy across the less frequented regions of S’rand’marr and the wider Spur, which have caused concern for many Tajara that rely on travel to Hro’zamal and the main routes to other systems. Local newspapers have recently described the story of a shuttle captain, Kiziranh Azubaqjri, who had an encounter with the pirates: The Hro’zamal administration has requested additional security presence, particularly as the colony relies on a significant number of imports to fulfill its needs and development. Minister of Defence Irbaykhan Mirarkiizar has released a statement in response to these reports, advising that the Orbital Fleet has been dealing with these threats, and has begun reinforcing the main travel and supply routes into corridors with additional patrols. In his statement, he has advised that the Party continues to offer security guarantees to Republican Tajara and the Republic’s partners during their travel to and from Adhomai, however, ships should divert their route through planned secure corridors that have been announced alongside the statement. These corridors encompass the direct route between Adhomai and Hro’zamal, as well as a few straight lines towards the rest of the Spur. Mandatory scans will be implemented along the corridors to deter smugglers. The Orbital Fleet will not escort ships beyond the Republic’s borders, or outside the corridors. While this would restrict safe travel to the designated corridors, it is necessary as national fuel supplies continue to dwindle. Following the growing concern over the phoron shortage, Chief Naval Commander Samirro Qarrarhaz has also advised that he is working alongside the Minister of Technology Zhuldyz Hadii and the Hadii Institute of Orbital Research to refit and produce Orbital Fleet ships that would be capable of warp travel, the slower alternative to phoron-based engines.

Space Travel Costs to Increase, Subsidies Cut Down, Patrols Reduced 16.06.2464 A governmental statement has been released by the Ministry of Economy that migration subsidies provided to Tajara as a result of cooperation between NanoTrasen and the Party have been reduced by a significant amount in response to the ever-growing shortage of phoron. Many Tajara were able to enjoy financially supported travel to new places of employment over the past few years, however, the financial subsidies will now be reduced as NanoTrasen has decided to downscale the support package offered to Tajara seeking employment with the megacorporation. The reason quoted was that the costs of travel had increased as a result of phoron shortages evident across the entirety of the Spur, making it economically difficult to upkeep the benefits offered to new employees. Party Secretary Yakiv Hadii has stated that the Party will continue to provide support for Republican Tajara seeking employment off-planet, however, this will change into a flat fee covering a part of the costs, as opposed to a high percentage or full subsidy that was offered with the cooperation of the megacorporation previously. The shortage of phoron has also reduced how many Orbital Fleet patrols are sent out across S’rand’marr. The People’s Republic continues to offer security guarantees to Tajara and its partners traveling in the Republic’s region of space with the presence of Orbital Fleet ships, but patrol routes around less populated areas of space will be traversed less frequently. The costs for an average shuttle seat have already doubled in price, and have been on a slow increase ever since. It is predicted that the number of passengers leading away from S’rand’marr will fall as a result of this, particularly as most corporation-sponsored ships travel using phoron drives. It is also expected that there may be shortages of advanced pharmaceuticals and certain consumer goods in the near future.

As someone who has mained Engineering before and fully knows this pain, this is very much true. The portable air scrubbers - and most other siphoning equipment - are mind-numbingly slow and, as Boggle stated, are just a waste of time when one can just vent and refill the room many times quicker. I'd wholeheartedly agree to buff siphons in any form. It will also help with shuttle cycling times which are currently notoriously long.

I have not played the non-Idris factions, so I cannot speak much for them. I don't believe the new shading is better, as argued in the discord thread as well (the new "black" is brighter than a grey floor tile). Here's a the new Zavodskoi black beret with a floor tile background: One thing I am dismayed about is the Idris labcoats changing. It has went through multiple iterations of not having a logo or having a different trim. While they would have been nice on their own, replacing the existing sprites has ruined the particular aesthetic that they once provided (from a large Idris logo that encompassed the entire back to a generic golden square) - I would be fine if they were alternative additions and not replacements, particularly with the golden trim ones. The same could be said for most uniform changes that I've witnessed - I personally preferred the older variations, and would want the back. Here is the old and new Idris coat, side-by-side:

Staff Complaint: WickedCybs; Flashbang rushing apparently is ok?
Ramke replied to Dreamix's topic in Staff Complaints Archive
Hi, I was the other officer that immediately followed up after Azhara left with the hostage. I followed in after Azhara, saw two of you lying down, and for the sake of fair play closed the airlock on you so that both of you could escape unscathed, only losing the hostage. The Vaurca officer was blinded and stunned for as long as you, had time to argue with Azhara, and I was in the way, so you could have made a break for it at any point. It was only later that the Vaurca officer ran in and started shooting, and I went in to follow-up and provide backup after hearing shots. One of you has managed to escape, while the other one decided to stay and fight. I am not sure whether there were any factors that prevented the other mercenary from leaving, but I wanted to let you know that we gave you a window to leave, and one took that opportunity. -
I'm a pharmacist main. Instead of letting physicians start doing chems and complicating it even further by forcing medical to be even more of a red/green spreadsheet of who can and can't do what, I would suggest looking for alternatives such as adding a "medicine package" to Operations cargo orders, so the department could purchase chems if there is no chemist available that round. It could also be considered to just have a random set of chems at the start of the round in storage, but not something that would invalidate the pharmacist role. Alternatively, I would be in favour of merging the pharmacist and physician roles. That would solve the pharmacist's job ending in the first 20 minutes, and the lack of access to chems for physicians that cause trouble during rounds where no pharmacist is present. Pharmacist-physicians (pharmaceuticalist, chemical practitioner or w/e other fictional name) could be permitted to produce chems and act as a general practitioner, while the "normal" physician would retain the ability to perform non-advanced surgery. This is somewhat already the case, but in the current "meta", pharmacists are likely going to get struck down for treating patients in GTR when there's someone else available. I would imagine this would encourage players to pick between they would want to attend GTR and produce chems, or attend GTR and assist with surgery. Basically a pharmacist power creep that would turn it into an alternative to physician, with the same priorities for treating patients.

No one has posted yet despite you asking for feedback every round, so I might as well. Take this one with a grain of salt as I have been playing with Arbs outside of Aurora for a long time previous to this, and saw him as a faction leader in a different community, so I know that he can handle things well. Bisenti has always been on-point in terms of round flow and escalating appropriately from my perspective. One of my biggest pet peeves is Security stopping entirely because of a lack of orders or a long time waiting to receive them in high-stress situations that basically stop the round, and this has never happened with Arbs so far. He tries to keep all members of his department included, and always makes sure that everyone in the department is in the know. The hostage situation yesterday was a good example, Bisenti walked past the hostage taker to get within speaking range of most members of Security while the radio was down to keep them engaged. I can say he has been an excellent teacher too, as I am a relatively new member of Security and Bisenti was there to help me learn the more finnicky bits of Aurora combat. The character also has depth, which really helps make a difference in the roleplay side of things and helps form interesting relations that offer conflict or friendship. It's kind of an awkward thing to mention, but it is refreshing to see as often heads of security tend to default to a stone-faced business-only personality. +1

Head of Security begone: Long live the Chief of Security.
Ramke replied to KingOfThePing's topic in Archive
I always disliked Head of Security, not because of the logic behind the title but because it just doesn't make much sense calling them HOS or Head - doesn't roll off the tongue. Most people go for Commander anyway, but Chief would be better as a personal opinion. All for this. -
Ramke - Tajara Lore Deputy Application
Ramke replied to Ramke's topic in Developer Applications Archives
Originally this was the NKA, but now it is mostly split between DPRA and NKA. If I had to choose, this would still end up being NKA, but DPRA is very close. I tend to view factions from the player's perspective more than anything else, as in what they can offer in terms of dynamics, interesting backgrounds, opinion shaping and conflict. The NKA has a major dynamic in play, namely the noble/commoner relationship and the caste system that the rest of Adhomai despises. It has a lot of regions and (to me) interesting backgrounds that form characters which could be a mixed bag of all sorts of opinions, whether that is liking or disliking the various figures/nobles, how their view the "renewed" monarchy and its system, how their relations and history impact their interactions with other Tajara and so on. It offers a lot of opportunities. The DPRA on the other hand is fantastic in a similar way - it's hard to view it as a singular country as it's still a jumbled mess of juntas and the civilian government, where your origin can be relatively normal and with the civilian government, or from the juntas with their wildly differing regions and beliefs. It offers a lot of different aspects to play, and the various cogs churning in the DPRA don't always get along well and offer conflict internally and externally. If I had complete free decision-making, I would likely shift the narrative towards proxy wars (this is already heading there, i.e. north pole and FTC, with potential in Hro'zamal) and corporation influences. Tajara always had external influence, but mostly exclusive to the PRA with NanoTrasen's backing, with minor references to Idris selling NKA watches & others giving construction/medicine support for the rest of the factions. I fully admit I may be not entirely correct here, but this is how it has appeared ever since I've gotten the whitelist. Adhomai has a lot of what corporations would view as untapped resources and cheap labour, it could easily become something that certain megacorporations would want to shove their foot into properly, especially as there are now pro-megacorp political factions cropping up. Proxy/influence wars would retain the current status quo on Adhomai that currently gives all three factions a chance to showcase themselves and have good reasoning to appear on the Horizon. While full-scale wars would be interesting for the duration of the arcs, the end result of it may potentially end a lot of the dynamics that make playing Tajara and driving conflict fun. A lot of care would need to go into planning to make sure the new landscape would be beneficial. -

Tajara religions are a cornerstone of what makes them a unique race, as it shapes their world view and allows for a lot of dynamics and expressions to come into play. I really like the current religions, and think they're actually one of the most fun aspects to dive into when playing Tajara. It's a big deal on Adhomai and allows for unique perspectives when exposed to the larger galactic community, which again allows for fun characters that offer distinct mindsets and contributions to discussions. You'll probably notice most of my characters are big on a part of Tajara religion because of this. Much like my response to Schwann regarding minor religions, it's the corner that I'm really passionate about. However, the two main religions are already quite expansive and I don't have any major plans for big additions. If anything, I would only really include things that help showcase the religion and lore, whether that's through items, events, articles or celebrations. Like most of Tajara lore, I'd look to stay the course and drive things through background actions rather than wiki text additions. One thing I felt lacking are prayer excerpts for people to express though, aside from the one prayer on the wiki for S'rand'marr. -

It's part of a team's development process. Ideas come and go, only a few end up getting worked on overall. I'm familiar with this and don't get too invested in something before having a discussion about it or a green light. This is a minefield of OOC issues since it's an uncomfortable topic for many. Some of these are currently no longer active/relevant (i.e. work camps, child soldiers) and only serve as a reminder to Tajara's history, whether dark, desperate or both. In these cases I think it is fine. As for their LGBTQ views, I can appreciate that it helps portray the backwardness of Tajara, but I don't think it should be more obvious than it already is. I believe it can remain as a minor background theme for the species (and exclusive to itself), but not anything more than that. For as long as my interest in Aurora remains, hopefully. I will be frank where this is as much of a trial for me as it would be for you/Alb choosing me, since this is something that would be new to me. As mentioned in my original application post, it may end up being shorter if the role begins affecting my interest in the game negatively, through burnout or otherwise. I'm not much of a graphics artist, but I can do sprite-work to an amateurish level (you've seen my work) so I may be willing to lend a hand should help be needed. I cannot give a concrete yes or no, as it depends on my availability at the time. -

With minor religions, their charm partially comes from being uncommon and mostly undocumented, so a lot of headcanon is allowed to fill those particular gaps in. I absolutely adore the current set of minor religious, particularly Raskariim, as you've noted from the conversations we've had. Adding more to it would be a balancing act between providing useable information and leaving enough room for headcanon. While I don't have any particularly big plans or large reworks in mind, I fully intend to support them through alternative means such as mentioning old rituals/celebrations, phrases, card games and the like to give the players more ways of displaying their religion outside of the usual faiths. It's one of those corners of the lore that I'm very passionate about, but I appreciate that it should probably be left minor. Most of the fun is using those breadcrumbs to create something really fun and interesting, at least from personal experience. I would love to do more arcs with them, but that's subject to a lot of discussion and planning - it depends on what the rest of the team think at the time. -

Location-wise, likely Gakal'zaal. It's still relatively barebones and doesn't really have as much love as Hro'zamal or any of the other locations, which is a shame since it's essentially the only Tajara location with a noticeable alien minority. It's why I've written up the Free Gakal'zaal Station expansion, and there's additionally a lot to do when it comes to figuring out planet-specific traits, food, culture, etc - especially as it's been exposed to Unathi influence. My preference would be to tackle something small at first before tackling a big project as I'd be relatively new to this, so it would probably be staggered into multiple steps - hence the focus on the station. Outside of locations, I'd prefer articles or arcs to make the universe feel more alive, and that something is happening. From personal experience I've always found it was fun to mention these on-station and it's a good conversation starter, so it benefits the players directly. This was partially answered in the previous question, but Gakal'zaal. It's somewhat barebones and lacking the cultural/daily life insight to the planet. It would be nice to see more megacorp influence on the planet as they are frequently trying to shove their foot in, but that depends on what Alb and the others think internally. There are enough pro-corp government parties in the planet to make more happen, and especially give hooks to players to base their character origins off of. Aurora/Horizon is very far-flung for the average Tajara to get to (especially NKA/DPRA) outside of D6. I've briefly suggested how to make them a bit less stiff with making them regionally more specific to Triogenix: It's possible to preserve some regional identity in the form of minor differences through what makes the region unique. This is the option that preserves the feel that PRA is mono-culture, but gives people something to talk about or take pride in outside of the Party and war. My idea, moderated by the rest of the team, would be to include regional identities that may be considered repressed. I find it completely unbelievable that a totalitarian regime would be so utterly successful in completely stamping out any difference in people, especially to a nation that encompasses the borders of 4 exclusive kingdoms that were still there ~40 years ago, to the point that everyone in the nation is the same. The PRA is by far the most prominent when it comes to secret police, moderation of opinions and deviation from the norm - this would play into it, providing characters some more internal conflict. This is naturally subject to what the team thinks internally. -
BYOND Key: Ramke Discord Username: Ramke#5458 Character Name: Nasira Nahnikh Item Name: Adhomian Incense Burner Item Function(s): It's an incense burner. Functions similar to the Skrell projector, which will give occasional flavour text about the smell/glow when activated. Item Description: A traditional Adhomian incense burner with blue and yellow suns depicted on the front. The metal cover is blackened from use, and there appear to be unclear etchings on the inside. Why is your character bringing this item to work?: Nasira is a deeply religious character that frequently participates in occult worship while on-station (soon on-ship?). This incense burner would act as a ward for the room it is lit in, keeping unwanted influences at bay while permeating the rest. How did your character obtain this item?: It was provided by the Black Mirror cult she is currently in. What value does this item have to your character, and what story does it tell?: Nasira is particularly fearful of (what she perceives as) the paranormal that frequently influences the outcomes of her actions, and situations she is placed in. The burner would further this aspect through warding locations. It is a keepsake from her cult that she will (once NBT comes) become detached from. Sprites: Additional Comments: While I have been playing this character quite a bit over a large span of time, I will admit that I haven't been playing Nasira as much recently (especially due to deadpop). If you'd like for me to reapply once NBT comes, I fully understand. The sprite-work is done and the coding is mostly done. incense.dmi

Ramke - Tajara Lore Deputy Application
Ramke replied to Ramke's topic in Developer Applications Archives
I don't have an issue with this, I'm fully aware there might be times where help may be needed when it comes to larger projects. In regards to changing anything now, I'm quite happy with the state of Tajara lore and would not change much about it. I don't see any glaring issues with it as it stands at the moment. As for things I would have done differently, this would be way before I even played SS13. I think the dynamics of Adhomai would have been significantly more interesting if the PRA was the underdog. While the team has already been correcting this, PRA was (to my awareness) generally seen as the "good guy" faction, who just so happened to also get the most external support, success, advances in technology and deals with megacorporations. I believe the narrative would have been more interesting if the PRA had less in the overall balance of power, the Hadii government being effectively kept up by megacorporations, tech and their scheming as opposed to their own might. The only reason I'm saying this is because I found it brought a lot more intrigue when it came to similar things in my old community. I've not had much insight as to how things are internally, I'm only aware of the structure and generally what to expect (through DMs with Alb & others). Overall, I'm quite happy with the content that typically gets produced and that there is always something happening in the setting, preventing that feeling that the lore/universe is stagnant. The lore event arcs were always fun to participate in, and allowed insight into things I've not delved into before. Gakal'zaal is something I would definitely want to expand on, and include the Unathi team with it to generate both fun stories and a setting that allows interaction between the two species. To answer the question directly, I'd be happy to work with the team. I would expect them to look at the Free Gakal'zaal Station expansion and see if they'd want to add any groups or mentions there, for example. I'll be honest, I'm not too familiar with Ouerea as that planet doesn't really have any interaction with Tajara currently, to my awareness. I am applying without any major rewrites or additions pre-planned. I've mentioned previously that I'm quite happy with the state of Tajara lore, and my main goal would be to maintain and expand upon the foundations already laid there. I can definitely see an expansion to Hro'zamal, but this would likely be through lore arcs - it has been in a status quo for some time despite a supposedly active insurgency on the planet. -
Ramke - Tajara Lore Deputy Application
Ramke replied to Ramke's topic in Developer Applications Archives
My opinion remain the same - the PRA does not offer as many avenues of approach when it comes to characters whether it is in background or in personal opinion, which (referring to the discussion at the time) meant that I struggled to find a way to create characters with enough personal conflict that I would find sustainably interesting. Each faction caters to different preferences. To answer the question directly, I don't have issues with the actual faction and don't find the setting boring, it just doesn't fit my tastes in the types of characters that come from it. I do not believe I'll have issues writing articles or updates for them, ironically it'll be what I'm most used to from my old community. Since it's relating to the first question, I assume this is relating to the PRA regions as PRA is mono-culture. Currently, the regions can be summed up with two words i.e. "the mountains", "the breadbasket", "the industry". I think they can be expanded on to make the regions more unique, whether that's in geography, culture, architecture, quirks or fashion. it's something that directly benefits the players as they have something to talk about, and have something formulate their characters opinions on. Whether it's a particularly popular TV show that was filmed there, there's a large amount of ruins to explore, it's a popular vacation destination or is considered the centre of fashion, there's always something to add as talking points and make the regions more unique than a hex from Civilizations 6. I think the existing ones should be expanded on before working on any new regions, but that depends on what those regions are and if there's any developments that call for a new one. I think the communities are a great way to explain why the characters are there and why they would end up working for the Aurora/Horizon. Little Adhomai in particular allows characters to experience Adhomian culture away from home where it isn't as apparent, and still keeps them tied to their lore/origins as opposed to becoming humans but with fur. It's also a point of contention for other races, and allows for arguments and arcs such as the recent IPC/Skrell one. I think they are fine as they are. I do not see a need for more of them at this point in time, or to have them curtailed. The FTC were "on the side" for me for a very long time and they always seemed disassociated from Tajara lore, generally. The latest developments and the proxy war have placed it back into the fold, and it is now able to interact with the rest of Tajara meaningfully, additionally providing the players something to think about while interacting in-game (i.e. What faction are they in? Who do they like the most on Adhomai? Do they want citizenship with them? Do they stay true to the Old Guard and their plans?). It went from something that was disassociated to something that allowed to have an outsider Tajara perspective on Adhomai with an incentive to interact and dig around more, and has a number of angles to make characters and arcs from. I think it has a lot of potential in the future, and is significantly more interesting now than it was a few months ago. -
Ckey/BYOND Username: Ramke Position Being Applied For: Tajara Lore Deputy Have you read the Lore Team Rules and Regulations wiki page: Yes Past Experiences/Knowledge: Regarding the existing lore, I have been (at this point exclusively) a Tajara player for over a year, and have been following all developments as well as participating where appropriate. I believe I have good knowledge of the current state of Tajara lore which hopefully reflects in my characters. Regarding working as a developer, I do not have any experience within Aurora's or SS13's development teams in any capacity other than volunteering to provide sprites, participate as event characters, or provide feedback. Outside of Aurora, I have been part of a space game roleplay community where I had contributed through being a faction leader, event organiser, moderator, server administrator and head of development. For transparency in the latter parts, most of this work was coordinating and assisting in producing content for all departments including Story, rather than actively producing it (with the exception of fx/factions/events). Finally, writing experience - most of my writing experience consists of personal character stories throughout both communities I've been part of - mostly through the relay or forums as a medium. In the other community, I have additionally written faction descriptions, news articles, faction communications and "info cards" (snippets of lore attached to items or locations). Examples of Past Work: Most of the past work from the other community would have been overwritten by now due to the progression of the story, and the majority of it was written 4-5 years ago so I am not too sure it would be reflective of the content I may be able to produce now - I've decided not to include this in the application. Please feel free to DM me if you are still curious. Outside of story-specific written content, I have made the Tajara drink and Tesla prosthetic internal organ sprites that are currently in-game. For the application work requirement, I've written an expansion on the Free Gakal'zaal Station: https://docs.google.com/document/d/156AUOHGA25L5DEohZ8UbR5Z5uU3sSam8yAaBlGL4ggA/edit?usp=sharing This should probably be expanded upon and consulted with Unathi lore developers to see if they would like to add anything to it, since Gakal'zaal is the point where Unathi and Tajara lore meet. It also adds some flair to distinguish characters from there and an additional bridge for players to explain how their characters got to the Aurora/Horizon. Additional Comments: I will likely be unavailable (or with very limited availability) throughout May and June as my final year of university is coming up. After that my schedule should become a lot more free. I believe I can manage both CCIA and lore deputy duties as CCIA is relatively non-oppressive in terms of workload. However, I am conscious of burnout and will likely end up looking to leave one or the other (with notice) if it becomes unmanageable to the point of affecting my enjoyment of the game. It is hard to tell without knowing what the workload will be like without having experienced it.

It has once again occurred to me that this is a ship and this poses another engineering problem. The hull shields have multi-level shielding, which is good for things like carp and protects all levels. The bubble shield, however, does not. It is the bubble shield that stops meteors, and it will only stop them if they spawn and come in from the level that the shields are on. The others will, to my awareness, not be caught by the bubble because they'll spawn under the shield, and smash into the hull shield, damaging and exposing the ship's interior to vacuum through the blast AoE. I believe one of the recent shield bugfixes that stopped meteors from dealing stupid damage to shields altered the behaviour of the meteor impacts, but I'm not sure if it turned off the AoE blast entirely if it hit the shields, or whether it was exclusive to just the shield and everything else will still receive damage. In other words, it is likely that 66% of the ship is currently unprotected if the AoE from the meteors knocks out windows/hull even if it hits the hull shield. The bubble shield needs to get the same multi-level treatment as the hull shield if meteors spawn on other z-levels too. I don't know if they do, though. EDIT: Greywolf confirmed that meteors pretty much disintegrate without explosion on impact to shields, meaning there's no AoE damage other than to the shields. This means it's basically a non-issue in terms of meteors. Ship debris may still potentially be a problem though, but that's a lot less frequent.
