  1. why he type like a homestuck troll
  2. Just played as a hangar tech under Jeriko. Had no clue they were even on trial. I think they did the job perfectly +1
  3. Unfortunately we are going to deny this whitelist at this time. You are welcome to reapply in the future.
  4. After playin with their Skrell HOS I would like to reiterate my +1. I was an investigator in a merc round under the command of Flpfs and while it was certainly hectic I feel that they did their job exceedingly well.
  5. Lately there’s been a lot of talk regarding the self preservation protocols. What do you think the lore implications of these protocols are and how would you accurately represent the protocol in lore (if at all)? Do you like the way it is handled now and if not, would you change it?
  6. +1 for this character concept.
  7. I would like to see a trial with the Skrell HOS. It is a neat concept and we don't see too many Skrell in sec. If you don't mind me asking a bit about his backstory... What is his SCS and how does that affect his career path?
  8. Hello! I have some questions for you 🐸 1. What was the SCS of Lwmbliq Sliuup's quya and how did that tie into their early development? 2. How did they feel once they initially left Jargon for these strange lands? 3. How exactly are the psionic interviews conducted? 4. Are there any long lasting effects from the scenes that Lwmbliq Sliuup’nuke witnessed? And what compelled them to take such a gruesome reminder of a name add-on? Bonus Question: What is Lwmbliq Sliuup’nuke's favorite piece of Skrell media (other than their own)?
  9. This would be an awesome addition. Admins already get a message when a Skrell enters the Srom so hopefully it wouldn’t be too troublesome to incorporate Skrell into that.
  10. +1 I enjoyed making the sprites and Bells NEEDS this taffy!
  11. None of the uniforms have a rolled up variant. We need to finalize the actual uniform before we do sleeves/rolled down versions.
  12. Lately I’ve noticed Haydizzle popping into the Skrell team more to help out and offer some insight. I think this is the right attitude when it comes to what this position would entail! While I’ve +1’d other apps for this position, I would also like to +1 Haydizzle’s.
  13. Possible inverted scheme for custom item
  14. I’m fine with this being a personal item and I’m also fine with this being a loadout item as well. If it would be preferred that this is a loadout item I could also make an inverted pallet swap for Huntime’s custom item (if allowed and if he wants it).
  15. How would you plan to address some of the inconsistencies in lore with regards to the setting (corpo dystopia) and things like implied independent businesses? (Mainly asking about the Ashton discussion in discord)
  16. Warble Enquirer: A Year in Review Translated to Tau Ceti Basic With the year coming to a close, we editors of the Warble Enquirer have come together to showcase the good, the bad, and as Xuushi Longtail might say… The slimy! We hope that you, our loyal readers, will join us as we look back on some of the important events of the year that we reported on: Representatives Flock to Adhomai At the start of the year, the Nralakk Federation attempted to prevent the proliferation of nuclear armaments on Adhomai, with representatives of Nralakk flocking to the Tajaran homeworld in an attempt to prevent nuclear annihilation of its inhabitants. The proposed Non-Proliferation Treaty was denied by all three factions (the NKA, the DPRA, and the PRA) with the majority of the Tajaran people refusing any of the Nralakk Federation’s attempts to de-escalate the situation. An unfortunate turn of events, but this should not deter us and the responsibility the Federation has in assisting our neighbors in the Orion Spur. Weashbi Jrugl Re-election Speech Grand Councillor Weashbi Jrugl reiterated their promise of peace and prosperity for citizens of the Nralakk Federation at a press conference during the last election; and we at the Warble Enquirer, by and large, believe that they have kept their promise! Councillor Jrugl has continued to consistently lead the Federation since their re-election, and their policies enacted this year are proof enough that the Nralakk Federation is reaching higher than ever before! The Tupkala’s Rebirth: A Bright Step Forward! One of the many examples of how the Grand Councillor is upholding their promise to the citizens of the Federation… The controversy behind the old Tupkala is well-known, even outside of the Federation; and thanks to their actions a deep diplomatic stain on the Nralakk Federation’s reputation can be seen throughout the Spur. The Tupkala reformation is an example of how we should move forward! Councillor Jrugl’s quick response to the corruption of the Tupkala further proves their dedication to upholding the ideals of the Nralakk Federation. Qerrbalak Contract: Settled! Initial reactions of the average Skrell regarding the idea of megacorporations expanding into our Federation were mixed. Many feared spikes in rent and cost of living, or even potential instability caused by corporate influence on our economy. With the announcement of the Special Economic Zones, these fears were addressed. It’s still too early to tell what the long term effects of these relaxed restrictions on corporate operations in Federation space will be, but it’s difficult to deny the positive economic impact the Special Economic Zones have, and are projected to have, on planets such as Qerrbalak, Qerr’Malic, and Aliose. Stay tuned for future editions of the Warble Enquirer that specifically address these issues! Nralakk Federation Officially Recognizes the People’s Republic of Adhomai as the Sole Adhomian Authority The events surrounding the foiled DPRA attack on Skrell civilians living in the Starlight Zone marks the second time this year that our species has been a target for terrorism. In response, the Federation had declared the DPRA and NKA to be illegitimate states, and gave full support to the PRA as the sole legitimate authority on the planet of Adhomai. The PRA’s collectivist ideals emphasize the importance of working together towards a greater goal; something that should resonate with every citizen of the Nralakk Federation. It’s still too early to tell how this new relationship will develop, but we at the Enquirer are looking forward to a deeper relationship with our friends in the People’s Republic of Adhomai. Social Assistance for C'thur Improved The C’thur have benefited greatly from being the second species to be integrated into Federation society; with the experience gained from the sometimes difficult integration of Dionae into our nation, the C’thur have been able to experience a more robust process and a better ability to accommodate their hive into Skrellian society. From their continued support of the Federation through their work in the Lukala and Qukala, to their diligent work ethic in the fields of engineering and research, they have cemented their place as welcomed, productive additions to the Federation. 100 Year Anniversary of Nralakk Population Initiative A somewhat shocking development at first, the results of the first hundred years of the Nralakk Population Initiative were quite unexpected by most of us at the Enquirer - and probably by many others both in the Federation and abroad. This news at its core is something to be excited about as it brings us one step closer to treating the X’Lu’oa condition that affects our species. We will see where the Nralakk Population Initiative and advancements in embryonic cloning will take us on the 200 Year Anniversary in 2563. 2463 has been an intense year with all that’s happened, and we at the Warble Enquirer hope that our readers are safe, and we wish you a fulfilling New Year. “We have to keep going! Only if it’s just one year at a time.” - Bloopy
  17. An alteration to the previous post has been made. You may reapply 1 month after your denial date. Contact the Skrell lore team with any questions.
  18. I think Alb would be a great fit. I love working with them both from a lore perspective and a developer perspective. They know how to handle projects and they are very efficient. Working under them on the NBT sprites has been smooth sailing. I can easily give this app a PLUS ONE!
  19. Service manager will be a good addition IMO. The HoP has always felt disconnected from service even if they’re in round and the service manager role will open up a lot of fun roleplay avenues. As someone who plays service a lot currently, each individual role feels very disconnected (except chef and hydro). With the addition of the manager they can bring some cohesion to the department and allow more “service roleplay”. Plus having a role with a little more authority and no whitelist is always a plus in my eyes. I’m excited to see what characters arise and fill this position.
  20. From what I’ve seen in rounds that we’ve played together, you take IC issues way too personally and immediately resort to arguing in LOOC instead of talking it out IC. If I were to see a head of staff doing this in round it would be incredibly irritating. I don’t think this is a good habit and at this time I would have to -1 this application due to this issue.
  21. BREAKING: 100 Year Anniversary of Nralakk Population Initiative Translated to Tau Ceti Basic With the 100 year anniversary of the Nralakk Population Initiative (NPI) coming tomorrow we at the Warble Inquirer have received updated numbers; as well as an exclusive behind the scenes interview with the head of the program, Ormish Jrolk. However, for those who may be born after the program started, or for those who were not aware of it’s start, we offer a short recap. In the years before 2363 the Nralakk Federation saw a stark population decline due to the X’Lu’oa and it’s effect on the fertility of Skrell galaxy-wide. The Grand Council was tasked with finding a solution to this steady decline; and thus, the JPI was born. Originally meant to simply modify the genes of an infertile Skrell the program quickly evolved. While reversing infertility was simply not possible in most cases due to the reach of the X’Lu’oa, researchers quickly found that by taking samples of two willing participants and “merging” them into a Skrell-made egg an embryo would become viable. The ensuing offspring would be a near-perfect genetic split of the two donors. This information sent waves through the Nralakk Federation and the initiative was given additional funding by the Grand Council on the stipulation that numbers would become public every 100 years. Now after 100 years of the JPI, we are finally able to see its reach within our society and how effective it has been in improving our population numbers. We now have Ormish Jrolk giving us their first hand information into the program by giving updated numbers of those created through the program and what to expect for the future. Full details can be found in the interview below!
  22. I would personally be all for this.
