To be honest, a traitor PDA/adminspawned conversion/power pack kit which could be used on a mech weapon to make it handheld would be a better plan than 'LIZARD GUNS PEW'. I've always taken it off the fact that the exosuit weaponry draws from the power supply of the mech it's attached to in order to function, and is completely unpowered whilst unattached.

And that's respectable because they might not have had the same experience. I am in no way saying that you haven't given people 'good' experiences, what this is however about is dealing with issues that you have created for those who did not have that 'good' experience. I've already answered the questions you put forward to me. Now, you're trying to twist it in order to make me seem like the bad guy, and you the victim, as stated earlier. Other players have also witnessed and mentioned your behaviour within this thread on different occurences.

Opening lethal fire upon you in the shuttle was justified ICly due to your previous actions. The threatening to have you scrapped followed you disregarding numerous orders and mouthing off in the Security channel. The firing stuns at you for failing to fulfill an order came after you had been whining for lethal weaponry all shift, at which point you batoned the character's skull in, leading onto the first point of this. At no time did I take advantage of an OOC talk with an admin to 'win' against you, seeing as I was cuffed and in paincrit due to the previously mentioned harmbatoning and skullbreaking. At no time have I said I am a victim, because it's a game. This request has been made as a result of repeated actions from you which have disrupted the course of players' rounds and fun, which has been confirmed by others who have witnessed the same pattern over the course of playtime.

I've got to say, I am rather loving the stance of being the victim that the player has now taken. Guilting behaviour has been seen before from others who were put in this position. You did wrong, you're now making yourself out to seem the victim and then blaming others. Linking this back to original post, attitude towards other players.

In response to Frances. Links back into the behaviour mentioned in the opening post, namely resorting straight to harmful means and playing to win.

Headrevs aren't deconverted by loyalty implants. The message "---- appears to resist the implant!" appears to everyone who can see the person.

Since when did Scopes have the power to say 'I don't want this person on the DO list'? Isn't he just a developer? I've never had any problems with Jackboot in my entire history on Aurora. He handles issues well, communicates, and is extremely polite. This seems as if the people involved have put absolutely zero effort into finding appropriate reasoning for this, as well as completely neglecting to bring up any 'issues' in an attempt to rectify the behaviour.

BYOND Key: Chaznoodles. Accused Players Byond Key: InquisitorJohn (Hypatia). Time of Act: 01:00am GMT onwards. Reason for Ban: Repeated instances of violence which disrupted the rounds in question. I've been back home for three days max, and repeatedly over these three days have I found myself in conflict with a very patricular shell, Hypatia. Three rounds spring to mind. The first was a Nukeop round in which I played HoS. The nukeops took hostages within the station, including myself. The player is recorded saying things such as "fucking retard" and other choice titbits of conversation whilst this was going on. They blitzed into the hostage zone, completely disregarding that I had stated they had hostages, resulting in the deaths of two other players as hostages, two of the ops on the spot, and one later, also resulting in myself being lasered. This behaviour, not willing to roleplay a situation in favour of violence, is a common trend, as well as their disregard for other players' fun. Another round that highlights this is another recent Mutiny round, in which the player sided with the Captain's side which was fair enough. However, they escalated straight to lethals alongside the others on that side with the Mutineers being armed only with stuns, again showing a disregard for escalation and the fun of the 'other side' involved. A more recent Mutiny round, with myself as HoS HeadMut, ended much the same. The Loyalists, including the player, had been peacefully detained and the orders taken, and they were given back their equipment. I left to deal with a problem in the Bridge when Faers, the Cadet, called for help in the Brig. I jogged on over to find the player in question dressed in full riot gear, shield in hand, and a laser rifle, which had been fired at Faers enough to put her straight to critical, thereby showing disregard for the fun of players again with the intent instead to win. The Loyalists all had stun weaponry, as shown by them dropping it when I promptly stunned all five loyalists to the floor, upon which carbines were changed to lethal and emptied into me until death. One final occurence, which prompted this ban, occured at 01:00am GMT today, in which the player again repeatedly disobeyed orders given to them by myself, the HoS, as well as giving out insults. They also demanded to be given riot gear and lethal weaponry, and when this request was refused, they stormed off in a huff with another player. They returned with two tasers in hand, and lied saying they'd been ambushed by a crowd of revolutionaries (rprev round) and needed riot armour. I found out this was a lie by asking an engineer who was standing right next to them. The Detective then turned up and it was found out that the two tasers belonged to the Detective, which i'd given him permission for due to these two officers disappearing off. I ordered them to return them and they refused, insulting myself. I proceeded to empty my pistol set to stun into them in order to floor them for cuffing. They were a shell so this failed, instead resulting in them tasing my face off. They proceeded to cuff me and remove my headset, before dragging me into Maintenance, where they harmbatoned my character until the skull was broken and I was in critical, The only reason they stopped was due to the intervention of the player they had left with earlier, who dragged me off to Medical where I nearly died anyway. Their intent during this was key, as they were clearly intent on disrupting the round for me and taking me out of participating in it. The player has showed blatant disregard for the enjoyment of others, as well as having a play-to-win attitude, in my opinion. The only other person I have seen get away with this quality of Security play was a very certain someone who I believe we all know, and I don't have to name. I'm requesting that a Security-wide jobban be placed on this player until they learn to respect others and roleplay rather than play-to-win, as well as a short three-day total ban to take them out of playing to allow them time to think. Reason of Ban: Reason for Appeal: The cause of this, Hypatia, has kept up a common trend of actions against myself, which include disobeying orders, insults, whining like a child when they don't get their way, and extreme levels of violence without escalation. This has been a major disruption to the rounds of both myself and others. The killing in the ban reason was perfectly justified, seeing as Hypatia had previously cuffed and removed my headset, dragged me into maintenance and smashed my skull with a harmbaton until it broke and I was in critical. The only reason I survived was due to another member of Security stumbling across Hypatia mid-harmbaton and shouting, then dragging me to medical, on the way to which I hit a completely white screen, taking me out of the round for fifteen to twenty minutes whilst it was fixed. This provided enough IC reasoning for me to execute the staff member, seeing as their actions all shift had endangered other Security members and crewmembers. The ban itself, not due to the staff member's fault, was not open to discussion due to an archaic rule stemming from when end-round grief was commonplace and there was no way to sort through it.

Security also had an obligation to make the round fun. Locking an antag away all round just turns it into extended. Slip up on purpose, take a bribe, do things to get the antagonist back to creating situations for roleplay. You got to give a little to get a little.
