  9. Just because a post gets warned and deleted two months after when it was reported, doesn't make the warning worthy of a complaint. The same treatment would've been given otherwise.
  10. From my perspective, IC in OOC means giving information in OOC which would have an impact on the round, for instance '---- is a traitor' or other information which other player would not have. I don't think someone basically thanking staff for spawning their custom item counts as this. Alongside this, the rather controlling attitude displayed by Baka in what seems to be an order for the player to stop doing something that did not fall under this seems well out of line. Staff should be there to help players, not control them. Misconduct from a staff member.
  11. 1. Did the first issue affect anyone who deliberately interfered? 2. When they went to the mining outpost, did they affect anyone except those who again deliberately interfered? From my viewpoint, the first issue only seems to make people 'sour' because they're trying to push in. If it's going to make you 'sour', don't get involved. 1. Were the nuke ops hostile at the time of the occurrence? 2. What was the reason for Security getting involved? As far as I can see, it would be perfectly acceptable in a roleplay situation to order things to protect yourself when in danger, as well as to stop someone from chasing you who could quite possibly harm you too. I don't feel the 'metafriendship' is any different than that the established players have either.
  12. The typical traitor should not have the reflexes of a jedi master. However, that doesn't mean that the weapon should have the block chance removed. It makes the weapon all the more deadly, as well as making those against it use more caution when dealing with it. Half the fun in roleplaying in SS13 is the wacky stuff that happens. Trying to make it future-real takes that fun away. The antagonist shouldn't be aiming to win, just as Security shouldn't.
  13. The whole idea of a traitor is that they are supposed to be deadly when needed. Taking away the defence that an esword provides would hugely nerf the item and make seeing it even rarer. Nerfing the esword is not an option, roleplaying so that you don't get slapped with a 60-damage, 2-shot kill, parry chance weapon is.
  14. I'd be against this change, as it would severely nerf the esword, an expensive traitor item, to make it next to useless when confronted by ranged weaponry.
  15. The issue now is people trying to brush this under the carpet. This has happened with the majority of issues before, causing them to be left and locked without resolution. When issues are then brought up, it's stated that 'people wanted to move on so we moved on, don't bring it up'. Don't leave this issue to get brushed under too. Show more care than that. Work for a better community, don't let it fester.
  16. i'd be happy enough with introducing a new energy sword that mimics a toy sword. Alternatively, introduce a modkit of sorts for two crystals that can be slapped onto a normal energy sword to give it the appearance of a toy. This would give those who want to be full-out visible the opportunity to, as well as giving those who want to be a bit sneaky a chance.
  17. Played with him previously, high-quality memer. Has my support.
  18. Always looked at this. Might give it a try if we're getting people together for it.
  19. It is nine pages of escalation that could easily have been solved if those that caused the issue had taken notice of the player backlash. Instead, it's being dismissed as 'nine fucking pages of escalation' and that people should 'shut the fuck up'. When there is an issue such as this, which is causing a problem for numerous people, it's not something that I'd want to just be left, like so many other issues. If you take a look through the forums, you'll see countless other issues that have had exactly the same treatment, 'oh you escalated it so we're leaving it', 'shut the fuck up', et cetera. The reason we keep saying the same things over and over again is because the issue is not being dealt with by those who caused it.
  20. Or, you know, we sort the issue now so we don't get the same storm, instead of brushing it under the carpet like every single other issue that has come up.
  21. To me, there doesn't even seem to be a conclusion.
  22. :^) It'd be a nice little thing for when people actually get to play Runtime, but can just as easily be done in the Variables menu.
  23. I pretty much stopped reading after this. This cries out that there was personal motivation behind the ban being put in place from both Doomberg and yourself.
  24. I like how people are now targeting those who are against the ban in an aggressive manner. This is why Aurora has a problem. I've said my piece on this.
