  1. There was a discussion about the CCIA about this, and this is basically what we came up with. It's not perfect, and it may be possible that it could be rewritten, that was something we talked about. Essentially, here's how it rated who has say over what is and isn't misuse. Captain>HoS>Other Heads. In a lack of ALL of that, it is up to wardens to say what is and is not misuse. It's not ideal, but this is what we came up with.
  2. Cheap lighters can fit into packs of cigarettes, however the larger zippo's can't. However, this is me recalling from BestOldCode, so the information may be outdated.
  3. I will say that I think some of this would be good. Being able to pick what you want to cook so you don't put too much or too little, and re-adding ovens and grills would be cool. I remember on the old station, when I still played cook, my Grilled Chicken Breasts were the best on the station, but it only worked because you could rename food with a pen, and roleplayed around that, so renaming food is HUGE yes for me.
  4. There is a wiki page for our own version of regulations, here. What you want is i107. This is essentially what everyone uses when they feel the radio is being misused. Misuse, unimportant, untrue and insignificant are all subjective though, so in a way, they're all right. Technically.
  5. Reporting Personnel: Poslan Kur'yer-Isra Rank of Reporting Personnel: Cargo Tech Personnel Involved: - Claude Stine, Security Office, Offender (bubbajake123) - Big Brother, AI, (Youbar) Time of Incident: Real time: 8:50~-9, ETC. 7/21/16 Location of Incident: Library, brig. Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property [X]Neglect of Duty [X]Harassment []Assault []Misconduct []Other _____ Overview of the Incident: He was attacked by someone in the library, and fought back against them. Later security was called, and Officer Stine said she didn't feel like dealing with this because it was 'petty.' When he said he wanted to press charges, she instead arrested him, and forced him into cuffs even though he would come along peacefully. He was put into the brig for five minutes, and attempted to talk to the HoS security, but they never responded, and he thinks they may have been SSD at the time, as they never appeared on the transfer shuttle. When he started asking for the HoS, Cline came back to his cell and increased him time to 60 minutes, and the person who attacked him never saw brig time. The AI Big Brother witnessed that his time was increased to 60 minutes. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?: - Additional notes:
  6. Id keep the time zone, the setting, the species, technological advancement. The biggest change would be the setting. Underwater. "Welcome to Osmosis Industries Deep Sea Sub-Station Poseidon." Osmosis Industries is a mega-corporation on Earth, studying the deepest reaches of Earth's even yet still unexplored oceans. Their plasma is Oxyenome, derived from deep sea fish eggs, used to create pure oxygen. The ability to create pure oxygen is useful for other companies who like space, they can use it to make breathable oxygen, or separate it into hydrogen to make fuel. They also have their own Aqua-Biology department, working to capture and study all of the unknown sea-life. But the Poseidon is in a precarious position, right in the middle of Great White Carp breeding grounds. Every so often, carp the size of sharks will attack the station.
  7. FEEEEEESH Also yes, this sounds fun. I can already sense good things happening.
  8. -@One_Tajaran- Hello, he just wants to advertise his "One Tajaran's" series. You will find these under the non-fiction section. Currently, the books take up two and a half shelves, and when it's all done, he expects to fill both Non-fiction section of the NSS Exodus library. Poslan Kur'yer-Isra

CCIA Agent Amnesty Lund, age 53, is sadly no longer with us. She has died in a horrible shuttle crash on the planet of Adhomai, taking her life, along with more than two handfuls of Tajarans. Condolences go out to her family and friends. We thank Missus Lund for her 30 years of hard work for NanoTrasen, and we ask for a moment of silence. Regulation Updates The following regulations and/or laws have been changed/enacted/struck down, and actively effect NanoTrasen personnel serving in Tau Ceti: This is a reminder that charge i207 of NanoTrasen Corporate Regulations, Infiltration does not apply to non-science personnel breaking into a station's science department. 10. Ive been working on this for a while, actually, since Tenz trapped me into nerdom. It has lore that I feel and hope is unique, same with playable, and non-playable species. On the snowflake meter, Id give it a... 5? On the owl meter Id give it Hoot out of Hoot Hoot.
  11. I think people should eat more, but I think it could and should be done through only a few of options you gave. Being able to start off hungry is good, I like that. Food giving less is good too, because how it is now is ridiculous where you have to try to actually eat one whole food item the chef made, but getting hungrier faster doesn't seen necessary, it just seems like something that's going to be annoying, the speed at which we get hungry now is, or at least it feels, how it's always been, and it's fine how it is. Also, no on the vending machine nerfs. No one was interested in them before, and I doubt they'll be now, especially since were talking about buffing hunger here, which is majorly annoying since it saps your speed.
  12. Since the picture of medbay isn't up to date, I hope this was fixed/changed, Something that a lot of people wanted, and were really excited about was having two surgery theaters. In the current picture, there are technically two surgery rooms, but one is disheveled, bolted, taped and with dead things in there, like it's some sort of joke it was removed.
  13. I already roleplay this, and let me tell you. It pisses people the heck off. Its funny how many people get angry and shout over the radio when they come to the kitchen, or to the hallway serving table and food isn't sitting there. That is to say, I agree with this whole heatedly, but I think people like the approach of "fuck it, give me food NOW."
  14. Or we can have them bottled using bottles laced with suspension of disbelieve because this sounds kind of cool. Especially if we use a brand thats really cheap by today's standard, as was already suggested by someone.

  16. Gri'mor is a small island nation, south east of the continent of Pramordia. There are two sprawling empires that encompass Pramordia, each one of the at least twice the size of Gri'mor alone, but despite it's small size, Gri'mor has natural resources found no where else, and craftsman to work with them better than any on Pramordia. Given this, the rulers of the island nation charge high tariffs for their trade. The natural, magical gems exporter to Pramordia would cost barely anything when sold in Gri'mor, but in Pramordia they will sell for hundreds of leads of silver. The Kingdoms of Doggar and Fallswood have agreed to stand together too this goal, but there lies a challenge in defeating the four times smaller island. Passing an ocean itself to get these will be round, but even worse is that intel will be sparse. Never, in thousands of years, has someone from Pramordia set foot on Gri'mor and returned, but what they do know is that Gri'mor houses the strongest, most powerful mages to even be. The United Kingdoms have banded together, and started to conscript nearly every capable man and woman to fight this war, and they will need every last soul. Can you help turn the tides of war? [Yeah! Im gonna try to do a kinda, sorta DnD type thing that I made myself. If you're interested, say so below. You'll, obviously be a conscripted man/woman/it. Also post any questions.]
  17. Well, beer rots and goes bad much easier than wine, so the option of drinking 2016 beer in 2458 is only good if you want to poison someone. Id also like to choose option E. This is similar to something else than came up a little while back, when Boot first came up with the idea of a constant bank account. Super expensive, well ages wine from the current year, in the game's year, would be orderable through cargo, if someone wanted to pony up some MAJOR dough for it. Now, constant bank accounts aren't a thing yet, but if you want your super fancy wine, how about adding it to cargo for, say... 500 cargo points?
  18. Heeeeeeeeeeey! By the way Im suing you and Hive for using my idea.
  19. Type: Physical Ailment Founding/Settlement Date: N/A Region of Space: Everywhere. Controlled by :N/A Other Snapshot information: S.S.D: Space Sleep Disorder is an ailment not much unlike desynchronosis, commonly known as 'Jet Lag.' In fact, the two are exactly the same thing, but Sleep Space Disorder is much more server, as is noted on space stations and other long term facilities across the known universe. First properly observed and noted as Professor Robert C. Jameson, a chronic caffeine addict. Others had tried to study it's effects, but failed. Only through his short coming addiction was Professor Jameson able to properly note the effects. Long Description: Space Sleep Disorder has been present in Skrell since before the human race came to space, but the actual term was first coined after the formation of the Sol Alliance, in 2142. Whole swaths of colonizers would be caught on camera or in person falling over into unconsciousness at random, and when physical exams showed they were okay, and there was no inherent cause, the term 'SSD' was coined and unexplained just like SIDS. Most doctors just say it's desynchronosis, the body unable compensate for changes in sleep and eating patterns, causing fatigue. They're not far off. But that happening on the body so many times, over so many time zones, sleeping under artificial light for so long, it really tolls on the body, even if it might not feel it at first. Modern marvels do well to TRY and prevent, but it falls short, and hubris is the cause for people not finding this out, not wanting to admit their system is flawed. However, the only result is all of that tiredness and fatigue becoming sudden onset, meaning all of that crashes on the body, all at once, causing the SSD unconsciousness we all see and experience.
  20. ADHOMAI DOESN'T HAVE A WIKI ITS LORE IS JUST SCATTERED ON THE TAJARAN PAGE LIKE EVERY OTHER RACE AAA https://aurorastation.org/wiki/index.php?title=Adhomai Its literally right on the top of their wiki, you scrub.
  21. Since February 13th, 2458. Do you even lore, bro?
  22. Wouldn't this be better on Adhomai's own wiki? You also spelled Ma'ta'ke's name wrong. Every time.
  23. Ma'ta'ke's Steed Large, hairy animals that inhabit the mountains of Central Adhomai. Historically they're most well known, and given their name, by the myth of Ma'ta'ke. It used to be said that in his mortal life Ma'ta'ke was such a strong soldier that he could wear much more armour and heavier weapons than any other Tajaran. While the rest of his men would ride into battle on normal steeds, only these strong work animals could handle carrying him into battle. Theres large, majestic creatures are as tail as the engine compartment of most cars, and wide as tree trunks, with fur that ranges from light brown to rich black, with horns on their head that goes up to two inches away from their skull before pointing frontward.
