The way Skull explained it when it was first disabled after some security scare not even related to us, was that people use the same passwords too much and it was disabled because people used the same passwords for stuff and they didn't want it being stolen and used else where.

I did consider to only one of the pressings, but the premise of the religious lore Ive made up baring anything official is that it's important to worship S'Rendarr and Messa equally, to strike a balance and peice in life and death. I don't know what they said, what the problem was, but whatever it is, Im sure I can keep whatever the issue is to a minimum, whether it's productivity problems, or problem with being too powerful, which it could well be since Boot was the head loremin, and if that's the case, I don't see that being a problem for me since most will agree all of my positions are minor, at beast. In short, no. In long, hell no. Every single round I see Pennington, she plants everything she wants outside of xenobio, MASSIVELY breaching SoP, and they're overly confrontational to anyone who has anything to say that she doesn't like about her doing her work, her way, going as far to yell and curse at heads, security and synthetics over the radio when they rightfully tell you to move your projects back into science under Directive Four. As far as Im concerned, this is the last type of person that should even be in the science department, let alone a head.

A minor suggestion: Bringing a disease that killed a third of the human population and died out thousands of years ago onto the station. I agree that food touched/eaten by mice shouldn't be clean, buuuuuuuuut... the Black Death?

Giving this to just the CCIA would make it completely useless. We already have the power to do this, suspend people, but for days at a time. Not only that, but this is a VERY temporary suspension, that can be used in situations when admins can't/won't handle it to what people see as satisfactory, as some people don't trust as the staff just as much as your distrust whitelisted players, and in situations where involving the CCIA would either not be warranted, or could be warranted, but would take far too long to handle, which itself is not satisfactory. Reading Boot's post, this suspends someone from a roll for what? A maximum of 5 hours, if a round even runs that long? At the minimum, it lasts an hour and a half. This isn't a big deal to give to captains. I don't even see the need to limit it to captains, but that's just me. The only negative thing I have to say, is that I don't see it mentioned anywhere as part of the suggestion to have these suspensions+ marked down for CCIA cross reference, which would be very useful.
