Elyra News Network “For Greatness, We Strive” Hegemon Forces Pull Back 3.31.2458 Hegemon Forces Pull Back The first reports came in around four days ago that the Hegemony Forces that were surrounding the New Ankara system began leaving the system. First, it was only thought that small groups of vessels were leaving the system, perhaps heading somewhere else to terrorize. Now, almost all of the Hegemony Vessels have now vacated the New Ankara system. At the moment, it is unknown as to what sparked this sudden movement out of the system but reports have been coming in from neighboring systems of insurrections within the Semi-Hegemony territory. I understand what you are talking about but, I do not believe that that is a thing in our lore's current technological level. Of course, there is a chance that I am wrong (happens) but as long as I have been here, I have not heard of that being a thing.

Yes, that is another point with the non-humanoid species. The thing is, yes, this is a bipedal creature but, I think that humans, in general, would have a harder time accepting a non-humanoid species than say, many of the species we currently have. If suddenly, out of nowhere a massive quadrupedal creature with tentacles that they use instead of hand came and visited humans, I predict that it would be very difficult for humans to even accept working with such creatures. I would be fine with having such diverse creatures in the lore as a background race that is not seen on human stations but such crazy creatures do not make sense to me. Although, I would be fine with creatures that are slightly less human-like but only to a certain extent.

I would support this purely on the fact that I have seen, as a ghost, the entire locker room bathroom used as a feeding ground for a vampire. At least 20 monkeys were in there. They were talked to by the staff but I don't think there needs to be a way for them to just farm as an antag and then come out of nowhere 1:45 minutes into the round and just wreck stuff up. I just think that currently, people just use this as Lings and Vampires to power game.

Well, Delta DID say that the race would not be playable, at least not right away. Honestly, if this gets pushed back to not be added for a little while, it wouldn't be too bad of a thing as they would still be within the lore. Once it is in the lore, I feel it would be a good way to make the species more known and give them a longer time to adapt to Human culture. I would say, after a decent amount of time, they could start being added in as low-level jobs or things like that. It would be pretty cool to see things progress in ways such as that. It may not be what Delta has in mind but since the description says that they are known more in the frontier and outer systems but not fully. Say, they get in contact with the main human things like the Sol Alliance or Nanotrasen (since they apparently are really good traders) That would be a good way to slowly hear news stories about meetings between the political bodies or stuff like that. Eventually, some kind of deal happens where Nanotrasen allows a few Peleng onto the station as a trial. Specialized jobs and stuff like that. Not really sure, I am just throwing around ideas. I just cannot say enough, this is a really well thought out species. Like, I would be satisfied if it just stayed within the lore. (Not preferred after a while but for now I am fine with it)

Yes, she is very experienced in the Medical and Research fields. Especially Xenobiological fields. The downside of this is of course, she is VERY unrobust to the point where I purposely aim a tile over to simulate her shitneas. Also, at her age, it really isn't about the payment anymore it is more the experience of researching. It is more convenient for her to research as a role in the Xenobiological field instead of Captain. Did that sort of explain it?

I like all of Arvak's characters that i have met and Arvak's roleplay ability is very good from what I can tell. I like that you shadowed some well-established Unathi characters to get an idea of how things usually go. You backstory is a little barebones but not too bad. I am going to give this application a +1. Also, if you could, fix your formatting. It is a little hard to read.

I see Uriel Evans quite often on the station and he is a very competent Quartermaster. As UnknownMurder stated, the backstory is a little short for my taste but gets the basic idea of what you are going for across. +1.

I don't really recognize many of your characters like you said but, after reading through your application, it seems that you at least understand the Vaurca lore from as far as I can tell. Anyway, I would be willing to give this application a +1 due to me not seeing many issues coming from it.

In the chance of you being accepted for both. You are allowed to go through both your trial and CCIA training at the same time. But once your moderator trial is up, you need to choose which one you want to be in. That was at least what I was told when I applied back in December.
