  1. One day... Eventually. Auralia does like DragonSnap more than most synthetics, though.
  2. I'm just going to note this here but I have added the Station Directives as a printable paper in the Request Consoles. It should be in the corporate form database or whatever it is called.
  3. Just a reminder, this is still a thing. PM me if you are interested.
  4. Well... This is a tougher question. Officially, all CCIA are unbiased (Lorewise) but, they are still human and have emotions. I try to stay away from bias when dealing with people but I believe harsher punishments have been given out to species that stereotypically are known for doing certain things. (Like Unathi being violent or something) They may be slight specism from time to time but we mostly try to stay away from it. The whole, how would your CCIA Agent treat other species when dealing with other species is a question that we ask our applicants when they are being interviewed but we never full out say, be completely biased when a Tajara comes in here for clawing someone. Now, if the player base wants more specism to be within the CCIA Division, I may be open to suggestions but overall, any sort of specist remarks would be hard to notice, if noticeable at all.
  5. I was going to say... If you want to make your voice louder than normal just do, me: Nanako exclaims, "I like your hair!" You have all the power you need to make it change but you just need to type some extra letters
  6. There is nothing stopping your characters from lying OOCly. If your character is caught, expect severe punishments IC. It does help us when people tell the truth but I suppose, if you are good enough, there really is nothing stopping you. Basically, you can lie but I wouldn't encourage it.
  7. Yes, +1 please. I have been trying to get Nur'sie to warble for some time now. Amazingly enough, this appeared and she is also making someone who was alive for Fedas! One million +1's for that sweet sweet warble. A great roleplayer and stuff blah blah. Just adding words to add words now.
  8. Faction Name: The United Edvanite Corporate Conglomerate Faction Leader: Director Octavian Lars Faction's Government Type: Plutocratic Oligarchy Short/Long Description/History: Long after the fall of the Order of the Star, Octavian Lars was born into a wealthy family with large sway in their planet's democratic government. During his early years, Lars continued the wealth of his family by monopolizing many of the products produced on his homeworld. It was during those times that much turmoil was among the lower classes, there was often times violent riots or attacks on the wealthy. When Octavian was forty-five years old, he was considered a beacon of hope for the masses as he employed many citizens, keeping them fed and "well-treated". During those times, a coup was in place to install the Lars family as the leading family of their planet. The political leaders were assassinated, causing distress and a stronger push for the installation of Octavian. After 10 years of a battle between many of the wealthy elite, the Lars family came out on top of their much less valuable planet. Octavian proceeded to revolutionize the planet's industry, greatly increasing the quality of life to a standard level. Although the Lars family is in power over their planet, there are a few other, wealthy surviving families that encompass the leading government.
  9. What mofo said is right.
  10. Okay, cool. I am interested in doing one of these.
  11. I know people wanted to make a new game and I didn't get into the old one so I was wondering if anyone would want to make another one?
  12. This question alone decides your application. Not joking.
  13. Alright well... This thread is just going in circles I feel. I have made my decision and the regulation is staying the same. I don't feel that your points were valid enough reasons and I still feel that the regulations make sense. If you have more concerns about this, you are welcome to PM me. I will not be responding on this anymore.
  14. I... I am not even sure how to respond. It is a /jumpsuit/ if they are going to make a rage thread on Reddit because they weren't allowed to run around with their jumpsuit rolled down, then by all means. I will talk with the other members of the CCIA Division but I believe this will stay the same.
  15. I disagree, I normally wouldn't do something like this it causes drama, anger and it usually all ends in tears. The only reason I posted in the first place was because of how salty I got over it but the more I look at it the more I think, "This only hurts players". I'll give an example, say its your first day playing on the server a sec officer stops you because you have your uniform rolled down and charges you with neglect of duty, most players would think "Oh that must be a joke" its such a silly rule to enforce and it takes away from a character. But lo' and behold it's not and you get arrested, most new players would ether leave or complain to the admins, if the ones that complain find out that yes it is indeed a law they'd probably leave. Thats just one example but do you see how damaging something like that would be to the servers reputation as a whole if it happened to the wrong person? And that's only one of the problems with this regulation but I feel its one I haven't covered in my previous posts. What do you mean, "If it happened to the wrong person" I highly doubt that forcing someone to roll up their jumpsuit would completely destroy the server's reputation. I feel like you are making this a way bigger issue than it really is. I still am not really convinced with having this changed.
  16. Well, the reason that the Tajara are allowed to have it down, and this is the only reason is that they get overheated. This isn't even an RP thing that they do. They eventually take damage. I believe it may be halloss but I am not sure. I would also like to ask, why this is such a large concern to you? Like, it is two different color underclothing. I will think about having an exception to some civilian roles but anything outside of civilian is completely logical to have to be in a jumpsuit and there is no reason to have it rolled down.
  17. This is already a regulation. "i105 Indecent Exposure or Hooliganism. "To be intentionally and publicly unclothed..." "...Skrell are required to be clothed just like anyone else. Tajaran can have rolled down jumpsuits unless ordered by their Head of Staff to keep it up." So the rule is completely redundant and takes away from character customization? Do you see the problem here, the law is there its great but that rule takes away from T-shirts and tank tops and I mean why even have those then, it'd be a cool thing to add onto adding more T-shirts and Tanktops and something I was planning to do along with new hairstyles but there's no point now . The hairstyles are being added yes but I really don't understand why this regulation is even a thing when space law has something against it already! How does this take away from character customization? You still have the same options in your character creation screen. The Corporate Regulations and the regulation that you are talking about, go hand in hand. One was developed off of the other. The only thing that is different about the regulation that you have brought up is that it was made more specific. There is nothing saying that you cannot wear other clothing like whatever you were saying would be cool to add. It says this on the posts on the forums, "All persons aboard any and all NanoTrasen vessels, employed, contracted, visitor, or otherwise, must not roll down their jumpsuits, or must keep their shirts on if their department does not utilize or require jumpsuits." You are still allowed to wear T-Shirts or other types of clothing if jumpsuits are not a required thing.
  18. This is already a regulation. "i105 Indecent Exposure or Hooliganism. "To be intentionally and publicly unclothed..." "...Skrell are required to be clothed just like anyone else. Tajaran can have rolled down jumpsuits unless ordered by their Head of Staff to keep it up."
  19. T-shirts aren't half naked, you're saying that the saloon girl outfit which is actually someone being half naked is allowed but a T-shirt isn't? Like just say wearing T-shirts or vests is okay, that sorts out /all of this/. No, the issue was having characters who had no undershirt, male or female had their jumpsuits rolled down 24/7. If someone is in a saloon girl outfit as a Medical Doctor or Security Officer, most likely they are going to be asked to change. There is leniency towards some civilian roles but you are expected to be in proper clothing/uniform at all times your character is on duty.
  20. As stated previously, this was implemented to stop personnel from running around half naked. This is not going to be removed because someone arrested you for breaking regulations. It makes perfect sense for this to be a thing anyway, you shouldn't be running around half-naked or in a costume. You are on-station to work not play dress up.
  21. Yes, I'm going to make a new character and he's not going to be rude, disrespectful or the alike ICly at all, I didn't mean to make anyone think I was an asshole OOC, and I apologize to anyone who I may have offended OOC. Well, it is mostly your IC character's attitude that was an issue for me as I haven't really interacted in OOC with you. I am glad that you will work and make a new character. If you are going to play them before this application has made it's decision and I like what I see, I will change my vote. Good luck.

    Coffee Maker

I like this idea. Coffee vendors need to go. All hail the machines. We can expand a bit. Give it instant blends (which is just what we have in the vending machine) plus the new custom blends. Maybe a few tea recipes? Yes, I am actually loving this idea xD
  23. The things that Mofo and Jenna are worrying me but from the experiences that Auralia has had with Albright, I think he is a competent Scientist. I'm hoping that you could work to change those issues before you become a Research Director. I was going to give you a +1 but I am not sure, especially with the things that Mofo said. I am just going to leave this as a no vote for now but I definitely think if you work to change your ways, I would support this.
