  1. So, I was listening to Quill's story. I brought up webcaptioner. I noticed it's got webhooks. I guess it's something to use. https://webcaptioner.com/captioner/settings/webhooks EDIT: I don't mind on trying to get this to work.
  2. I am in favor this suggestion due to @Snakebittenn and @geeves's reasoning. I would also like to emphasize on this reasoning that we would like our conversation to be private ourselves and the CCIAA Agent away from prying ghost eyes. I know Lancer is not exactly the progressive kind of person but do keep in mind, when I was a CCIA Agent (and Duty Officer), doing a discord interview was an option and people did appreciate the efforts that we went for to please them, this was known as the phone call interview with follow up questions. If you really really really don't ever want to use forums for whatever the goddamn reason or excuse that you give us, at least give us the choice. Alternatively, you could also do "emails" on forums by using messages. Just type out your questions and an employee would respond back to you with answers.
  3. I like this. Makes a good change and involves CSI/Detectives working with Medical instead of fighting over a lifeless corpse. I am in favor of both suggestions. It does not seem it will make a big difference. There's a third suggestion? Where!?
  4. Your body was also cremated in front of many people.
  5. Reporting Personnel: Bastien La Flamme Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Captain Game ID: b7N-aghR Personnel Involved: Trauma Physician Stephen Yates Cargo Technician Max Judge Head of Personnel Amaya Stone Secondary Witnesses: Drill Technician Tabor Janssens Crime Scene Investigator Raold Kharmenko Time of Incident: 8:30 Station Time Real Time: 9:15 PM - 12:00 AM CST (Four Hour Shift) Location of Incident: Bar, Medical, HoP's Office Nature of Incident: [ ] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [ ] - Neglect of Duty [ ] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [x] - Misconduct [X] - Other - Exceeding Official Command & Coercing to Suicide (Place an x in the box that applies. If other, replace line and specify.) Overview of the Incident: As I boarded the station out of a transfer shuttle. I have went on my visits to each departments in person than checking on them via headset as the usual norms. That's when I received a disturbing news about Max Judge was in a state of despair. I had PDA'd Max Judge, called him out in common radio frequency and have also asked Security to see where Max Judge is. Officer Kayta Fahiira reported that he was in the bar, I was beginning to revert Amaya Stone's actions. I had pulse checked with Command Staffs and Security Staffs to undo Amaya Stone's actions so Max Judge could continue working, the both departments were in favor of reverting Amaya Stone's actions. Within the minute, I received an intel from the crew, the barkeep, and one another person that Max Judge is now deliberately attempting to commit suicide, I called for action and informed Max Judge I would be more than happy to revert every of Amaya Stone's actions. While I did not see this, I was told that Doctor Stephen Yates was immediately on the scene and carried Max Judge away to Medical Department to attempt an immediate recovery. Max Judge did not make it, he had passed away. Stephen Yates reported that he has done everything he could. Stephen Yates mentioned that Max Judge had fused three chemicals together: potassium, water, and PMT(?) drug that would "literally nuke his heart". During all this time, I had begun investigation by asking Command staffs, Security staffs, Cargo staffs, and so forth. The information that they all have reported have been the same to me. Head of Personnel Amaya Stone had suspended Max Judge and revoked his payroll instead of reaching out to Max Judge for help when he asked for one. He was pushed away and was turned to doing drugs. Crime Scene Investigator Raold Kharmenko had visited the morgue in Medical Department, Raold Kharmenko, Stephen Yates, and I have concluded the official cause of death was an assisted suicide. There were syringes to be found at the bar crime scene, but no one knew for sure where it came from. Raold Kharmenko was not able to report in a timely manner about the syringes that Max Judge had used on himself. Later, a funeral session was hosted to honor Max Judge with Stephen Yates leading the funeral services and cremation. Submitted Evidence: A Situation Report contained the same information to be used for Incident Report. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or a superior? If so, who? If not, why?: Yes, I faxed a Situation Report at the shift's end. I am unable to discipline or deliver an action when a command staff is not present. Actions taken: None whatsoever. Additional Notes: None. Last Edit:
  6. Just Security Talks 101
  7. Very flexible and open minded. Helps people to do what they need to do. Does not place unnecessary red tapes and is a good role model for many new people starting out. Will be with you on something if you need help figuring something out. And also gave me a bomb. You the bomb. +1
  8. Yes. What you said is the summarized end-game goal what this suggestion is trying to achieve.
  9. @Vulcenus @SleepyWolf RIGHT BEHIND YOU.
  10. +1 I'll keep it very simple. Game ID: b7K-aqjb A very good roleplayer. Makes good and wise decisions. I often appreciate @Daemon roleplay skills and willingness to be involved and to do something. @Daemon's character Melya was an outstanding Head of Personnel. People appreciated her paperwork. Becomes involved in conversation, took their time to hear out both parties and before making a big decision impacting a character negatively.
  11. I read your reply. I dismissed the negative criticism by saying I suggested a solution to the problem. A channel in a discord is both channel and a discord problem. EDIT: You never know unless you try.
  12. Aurora Station has a discord that we use. Not all of them are not for serious discussion and few channels such as #code_dungeon and #lore_channel serves a purpose to have a serious discussion about the lore. The serious discussion could be about anything in Aurora Station. When someone sparked a serious discussion something, everyone's discussing and hoping to expect fruition instead the fruit is often polluted over by memes or discussion unrelated to the already sparked discussion. The conversation dies out because of unrelated conversation. Another reason is the conversational pacing the forum is unable to have. People sees the forums as the only place to have a serious discussion. But, when do you think you'll expect a response? It depends on the respondent themselves, they'll either respond in five hours, twelve hours, a day later, or even three days later. With this serious discussion channel, we can cut down to just matter of minutes and few hours. The five hours can be a two minute to respond and keeps the people engaged. Absolutely, no politics please.
  13. Reasonable cost. Port it to PS5.
  14. By making Aurora Players pay, we can filter out the bad rpers from the good rpers. We can help Skull sustain the server and many other things. We should set the license price at $15. Developers should be paid for their work. Those who cannot afford do not deserve food. We should make the Aurora Players pay to play Aurora Station. That's the only way we can thrive in this great community.
  15. I tentatively disagree for three reasons: I saw player rats as part of roleplay, it never bothered me. There are people still interacts with rats whether it be trying to kill rats or befriending it. That's their roleplay and they may enjoy doing it. "Player rats are a nuisance" isn't a big enough of why reasoning response. It's likely a small pest infestation roleplay that a player is trying to create so the people bothered would do something about it. For all I know, a worst thing a mouse can do is nibble tiny bits of food and someone has to do something about it ICly.
  16. No. Nothing else for now. I will contact you privately in discord.
  17. I understand and acknowledge your statements.
  18. Your explanation wrapped up everything that I wished and needed to hear rather being told "IC issue" then wrapped up. For your clear explanation, I will back down and apologize to @Melariara. I have no further complaints in this complaint thread. But two questions if I may before you resolve. These two questions may help me understand better about antagonist escalation and crew's response. This is to help me better understand our limitations besides releasing singularity or wordlessly kidnapping someone then killing them. Question One: I've mentioned in my OP that this would become a trend. If this incident does become a trend based on your precedent ruling and thus becoming a negative issue, what could be done to improve on either sides? Question Two: I have been spoken to by an administrative staff about attacking a victim when a Captain entered my ongoing crime. I believe I have may be noted about this. If you like, we can speak about this in discord, it might be off-topic.
  19. I agree with Geeves. I saw these LRP jokes as a way to appeal to people to clicking on a link to read more about the topic or to give the reader a chuckle and say something like "Like, who would ever do that.". These LRP jokes could also help you be conscious about what you're doing. I don't know if someone has actually listened to the LRP jokes and took it seriously in-game. It is my opinion that LRP jokes are not a big issue.
  20. Hey there, @geeves. Regarding the interpersonal skills, the below is the best answer I will provide to you. I have started to get more involved with professionals and limited myself to do the best to use neutral vocabularies. Very few people in Aurora Station community have gotten the chance to see my research paper that I've done in Washington D.C., during my hiatus from Aurora Station for some quite of time. I think many people can note the change of my behavior from "OTAKU! OTAKU! I'M THE BEST OTAKU! I KNOW MANY ANIMES! YAS!" to "I like anime, how about you?" as if I've become more inclusive and prompt for people's response. I believe this is something that has improved overtime. Some may know I do bring things to people's attention via Discord when I make a message that responds to a recipient or refers to a recipient on Forums. I'm unsure if there is a specific answer you are seeking for. If this is not it or what you mean by, I'm unsure what to tell you.
  21. I don't understand.
  22. The people that were directly threatened by me were Likho, Aubrey Piper, and Locke. The people that were indirectly threatened were Chief Engineer Imran whom cryo'd (nothing happened to Chief Engineer) and Crime Scene Investigator Ana Roh'hi'tin. The person that were forcibly manipulated is Ticket whom lost memory. The person that were alright with cooperating and posed no hostile to each other is Amanda Miller. I received a refund back from @Yonnimer as it was a fumbled announcement with people calling it out as fake when announcement could be real then Aubrey Piper and Likho arrived and everyone was 100% sure it was a fake. I firmly stand my ground that must have been either a improper escalation, gank and/or outright removal of the round, bad gameplay impression, and an attempt to play a hero. This is an opinion from me, I hypothesize if this remains ruled as IC issue then we can expect a similar trend impacting the antagonists negatively.
  23. I think we all can agree that this needs to be changed. It contains "head revolutionaries" thing that's been changed by @Chada1. I'm not going to ask for a major overhaul and create headache for everyone. SURRENDER - Should remain as is. RE-EDUCATION - Re-education should be tossed out. Revolutionary via Loyalty vs. Revolutionaries is no longer a thing. Unless, if we do want to re-introduce loyalty implants? I'm all for it. COOPERATION WITH PROSECUTION OR SECURITY - The benefit and description should be tweaked to not include "head revolutionaries". Suggested Description: Being helpful to the members of security, revealing things during questioning or providing names of involved personnel. Suggested Benefit #1: Up to -25%. In the case of revealing a high value target, up to -50%. Suggested Benefit #2: Up to -25%. IMMEDIATE THREAT TO THE PRISONER - Should remain as is. MEDICAL REASONS - Should remain as is. SELF-DEFENSE - Should remain as is.
