This is not a command hopping to non-command, more or less a command hopping to a lower command. This is not an argument against OP. I agree with @Scheveningen's reasoning, the suggestion is unlikely to pass as we have sensitive players who may not have a lot of characters and prefers to stick to three or four characters. Unlike myself, I have already created over ten characters and used them diversely during my active time. I often turned a blind eye to this issue as a rare occurrence had happened to me long ago and (I shit you not) one quoted "I was but the learner last shift; now I am the master."

Implying that eating out at cafeteria counts as a restaurant. Yes, I do eat out to restaurants. I order food. Aurora Station Cafeteria is different from a restaurant. Now if you want to hear about charging food in real life experience. My work doesn't charge people for food. We're already covered by contract. Just played with Nantei today. Nantei was Head of Security of the round (Round ID: b2t-dmr7). Nantei played a cool, calm, and rational Head of Security. Her character, Mia Frei, hardly show signs of panicking (not accounting for confrontation) when facing with a vampire and changeling situation. So, a friend pursuing a electric design major student fascinated about this decided to ask me how this works. I shall explain as I should've explained in my original post. The green line is how much the power is available to be distributed. The red line is a demand for power. In the screenshot of OP, the green line is going up which means that more power is being generated. The red line is flat on 0 W. This indicates two things. The power is not being distributed. The power monitoring system is not hooked up to station grid/engine. I'm sure the answer is 2 because you can see below, there are no areas connected which means it is not hooked up to station grid/engine. Given a scenario where demand for power (load) increases and power generated. It would definitely look like this. If the red line is over the green line, this means that there is more demand for power than there is available. Some areas will not be getting charged and station will lose power eventually. Statistically, the relationship of Available Power (green) line is the opposite of/contrasts with Load Power (red) line. This is the ugly truth. Words have never been spoken so true. I'm just literally going to laugh at people who thinks that chef and bartender should charge people for drinks. The only common thing these will happen are be forced by Command's orders or NanoTrasen's orders then Chef/Bartender can charge people. If you look at my joke that contained a useful message which previously and charge me for food/drink services, I'd rather go for vending machines than having to go and pay for your services. Vending machines are much cheaper than Chef/Bartender's services. GIANT HOWEVER, no one is stopping you from tipping for the Chef/Bartender. I do like to have my characters tip my Chef/Bartender sometimes if they provide a good story/interaction with my characters. If you want to tip, by all means, go ahead. Charging and tipping are two different things. Requiring to give money for a service is charging. Opting to give money for their service is tipping. Someone charging me for real food? Outrageous! I will resort to getting food from vending machine because it is cheaper than real food that chef cooks.

I do not support this suggestion for my one and only unique reasoning in this thread and another bandwagon reason. This can start creating many unnecessary rulings or/and precedents in the later future of who needs access and who wants access to all or certain departments, "Why do EMT have access to this area but not us, we deserve access!". This is not the first time it has been suggested for a department individual to have access to other departments. See individual security wanting access to other departments, janitors having access to all/most departments. But yes, we should have a middleman for most situation to create RP and to allow antagonist to pull off a grand escapade. Should this suggestion ever get accepted. I dare someone to make a suggestion that allows miners access into R&D because it makes relationships' job easier and I dare someone to allow Roboticists have access to AI Upload because there's AI equipments there, no Director or middleman needed.

As an Aurora non-developer but a having a computer science major in real world wandering around on GitHub once a while to see what's been changed, improved and removed. Funny PR titles do get me addicted and gives me the desire to read the PR description and sometimes the commit. I'm with @Scheveningen as a whole on this. Aurora Master Branch on GitHub is just like YouTube but without anime girls clickbaits. I'm going to read it off on the original post and better your understanding of Central Command Internal Affairs. I will speak as a Ex-CCIA speaking from experience and prior knowledge. This is subject to change by god knows who is changing what in Central Command Internal Affairs Agency for better or for worse. Central Command Internal Affairs works externally and does not and should not weigh or interfere with station's proceeding as a whole. In turn, they should expect that the station knows how to take care of themselves. Admittedly, Aurora Station is the only station that we will actually play on this entire time. We only see Central Command Internal Affairs Agents boarding Aurora Station more often than any other stations. Not like we're heading to other stations and roleplay. This could be done if we had a larger playerbase and et cetera but only a dream. Point is, the game that we play on revolves around Aurora Station built on lore by many different people through time. Secondly, I have to argue @Arrow768 and agree with Soultheif that to reportly direct mistreatment or request to appeal to Head of Personnel is best recommended as Head of Personnel is nonetheless a human resources command staff. If anything, it gives Head of Personnel something to do. On the other hand, I will not be happy Head of Personnel being able to reduce/repeal sentence. I'm satisfied where Soultheif has it in his modified case and I have no problems from this perspective. For i300, I'm standing on the middle ground here between Arrow and Soultheif's perspective. Some privileges should be removed but some privileges should remain. Suppose if a prisoner with i300 infraction is sent to the private brig. He does his best and follows through the procedures of how to be a good boy. He can get more privileges just by doing that like with some of U.S. prisons. tl;dr: You be good boy. You get good stuff. And yes. The warden should be the first person to speak to about appealing. Communication should be passed down from the lower chain of command through to the top. I am unfamiliar with how appeals can work on Aurora Station. So, I'm going to wrap my wall of text up because I have real life. I like most ideas. I believe few needs changes. It would be difficult to uphold this.

This was announced a long time ago as a solution to a major crisis and the whoever decided this solution are ableism. As you can see, I've hated this solution very much. Why include deaf/mute/blind functionality to a game if you're just going to place a heavy limit on it. But yeah, I suppose you can argue that if there's nothing relating to disabilities on Aurora Station rules, it's not an actual rule but again we have unwritten rules that are not in Aurora Station rules. It's a lousy argument but disabilities just happens to be one of these unwritten rules and you have to go searching around it to find a precedent ruling.
