Lore team, what's going on big guy, you don't seem to be doing any cross species lore or lore arcs. Lore team we're talking about our lore here for Christ sake you just don't seem to be doing any cross species lore arcs or lore, it's all individual, I'm watching potential lore arcs pass by with my own two feet. Lore team, our lore is laying here bloody and bashed, c'mon, let's get some cross species lore. When my field hockey wife human lore and corporate lore asked me to be a lore dev years ago, I made a vow to stand by her, so don't you go pulling back and removing cross species lore and lore arcs. Are you guys fighting please you need to be friends, make peace. I miss our cool arcs and events. I know some people HATE the arcs but some people LOVE them and miss them. Please. How about this HOT and STEAMY idea: make it so that the strictness of uniform (other than sec and EMT perhaps) is up to the current head of staff working that round. It defaults to smart casual if no head is on, but the head literally has either full remit to compel their underlings to wear strict uniform, no uniform and anything in-between OR have a toggle on their PDA/some terminal which sets their department uniform allowance that round. For me it's a fun RP boost (are you a hip, sit backwards on a chair "just call me Sam" Mictlan HoP or a hard ass, by the book "look ah-LIIIIVE LADIES" Dominain head of security) with all the roleplaying opportunities in-between. This is just a simple case of tweaking the current regs ICly.

Change the medical titles to either: Trainee Medical Technician Medical Technician Emergency Medical Technician Chief Medical Technician Or Trainee Medical Officer Medical Officer Emergency Medical Officer Chief Medical Officer Standardises them along the lines of the other departments, allows medical staff to cross skill without having to fill up alt titles, had a more future-scfi vibe instead of just "year 2020 western medical titles." For me, it's the standardisation, allowing Medical Technicians to work across various skill sets.

As the title says. Have a low power output engine set up and already outputting power at round start but give engineers the tools to build better, more powerful engines/power generators. This prevents the dreaded power death on low pop and frees up engineers to do other projects on station whilst still requiring engineers to set up a more powerful engine on high pop (to avoid inevitable brown outs). Engineers will have more freedom to experiment with engines without causing round ending damage as we'd already have the round start baby generator.

Realism wise yeah I agree, but my angle is more "fun/cool" mechanics to be clear. If you're not down with it as a concept then that's cool but don't think of it from a "hmmm it takes 200kn to rip an arm off but 2000n to rip apart handcuffs thus physically no".

To my mind the "sleeping" section of the residential bit would have hab sleepers, essentially like those pod hotels, where people would sleep and have their "room". This could mechanically act as a cryo pod for spawning and ghosting. Private room wise I guess there could be lockable "lounges" on a first come first served basis which no one owns, just uses.

I for one believe it to be that most unathi players are sexual deviants and this thread has called them out and, embarrassed, they've all left or gone into hiding. Especially Leudoberct and "Dronz" if that's even their real online handle.
