Imo I'd actually simplify the whole thing to broaden role use (you can specialise flavor wise as much as you like) and have simply: Trainee Medical Officer - cadet/new person role. Medical Officer - Can do pretty much anything as per your character. Paramedic - As now essentially. Chief Medical Officer - Is the head of.

Yeah I've seen thirsty posting turn bad in recent weeks. I think the main call out is for admins/mods to take it seriously and give people notes/strikes if the person that's getting the brunt of the thirst is not about it, has asked for it to cease and it hasn't. No one wants to be made uncomfortable playing here. I don't want to see strikes and notes being sent out for in jokes between players though i.e. at first sign as oft times it is a joke between a group of people. Getting DMed and shit essentially asking for lewds is creepy as hell imho.

I've changed my tune here. We have opt-in for every other antag. I get being a thrall isn't really "being the antag" per se, however this is like in the first SECOND of the round an antag traitor immediately taking you hostage. Super lame and I'm 100% sure is ahelpable. I'm ok getting antaged to death in an antag round, just not in the first five seconds UNLESS I've opted in for antag. Game mechanics I think the slow down is to balance the silence. That being said do we often see woof be assassin's take of their shoes in game for the silence benefit? Prisoners to silently evade detection? If not then why keep the slow down I say.
