Suit Cooling Units: Is this some kind of joke?

Yeah it's actually a joke bro, YOU JUST GOT PRANKED HAHA WOOOO that's what happens to IPC MAINS HAHA. #ladsladslads #prankedson How long do oxygen tanks last for? Surely they should last at least as long as a fully filled tank give or take imo. -
Maybe have it play a noise a la Predator self destruct.

1. Yes, they should be locked away. 2. Nah it's a cool role, whitelist it tho. 3. Resolved by having a whitelisted QM to properly educate. 4. Keep KAs, ahelp if people use them inappropriately. Crates should probably be removed anyway? Replace them with something that requires like sci to crack open. 5. Getting people to ahelp is always hard tbh due to what coalf said and the perceived lack of action against whoever is being a naughty boy/because sometimes it just doesn't seem "bad enough".

What triggered this? Is cargo really that bad for it?

Just use the uranium walls but make them brown.

Yeah get rid. Also add a different noise for robo feet and Vaurca click clack chitin toes.

Imo I'd actually simplify the whole thing to broaden role use (you can specialise flavor wise as much as you like) and have simply: Trainee Medical Officer - cadet/new person role. Medical Officer - Can do pretty much anything as per your character. Paramedic - As now essentially. Chief Medical Officer - Is the head of.

Yeah I've seen thirsty posting turn bad in recent weeks. I think the main call out is for admins/mods to take it seriously and give people notes/strikes if the person that's getting the brunt of the thirst is not about it, has asked for it to cease and it hasn't. No one wants to be made uncomfortable playing here. I don't want to see strikes and notes being sent out for in jokes between players though i.e. at first sign as oft times it is a joke between a group of people. Getting DMed and shit essentially asking for lewds is creepy as hell imho.

Revert Garnascus' ruling on roundstart borer hosts.
Zundy replied to Kintsugi's topic in Rejected Policy
I've changed my tune here. We have opt-in for every other antag. I get being a thrall isn't really "being the antag" per se, however this is like in the first SECOND of the round an antag traitor immediately taking you hostage. Super lame and I'm 100% sure is ahelpable. I'm ok getting antaged to death in an antag round, just not in the first five seconds UNLESS I've opted in for antag. We should have this be an opt-in thing or have the borers start outside of the body or something, anything that isn't a rando getting beaned instantly. -

Do you cryo if a borer gets you 5 mins in? -
Considering we have Lab Assistants we should probably have a series of tiered roles for science allowing for characters to naturally progress imo but yeah that's for another thread.

Game mechanics I think the slow down is to balance the silence. That being said do we often see woof be assassin's take of their shoes in game for the silence benefit? Prisoners to silently evade detection? If not then why keep the slow down I say.

It's called bed head but the I my way to attain that level of S T Y L E would.be through heavy product use. I don't mind whacky styles tbh as this is 2462 and not 2019 working in a office for Amazon.

Reporting Personnel: Dante Volvalaad Job Title of Reporting Personnel: Lab Assistant Game ID: b41-bYdb Personnel Involved: Angela Ulery, Research Director, Witness ODIN, Detective, Witness Time of Incident: around 4:30am 02/01/2462 Real Time: 13:35GMT 02/01/2020 Location of Incident: Research labs Nature of Incident: [ ] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [ ] - Neglect of Duty [ ] - Harassment [ ] - Assault [ ] - Misconduct [X ] - Other - unclear regulations Overview of the Incident: At this time I was detained for a regulatiory violation "i206 Neglect of Duty" specifically for self testing a new experimental commercial narcotic mix I call "Turbo" consisting of 20 units of Hyperzine, 25 units of Methylphenidate and 15 units of Mercury Mono lithium Sucrose. The drug has moved on to human testing before final report for product market viability. At this time I was self testing with the mix, a light high with enhanced focus and reflex. The Research Director on shift, Angela Ulery, along with security believed this to be Neglect of Duty which is fine as per the clause "This can be due to honest or dishonest mistakes that the Head of the Department feels hampers Department productivity." The issue is, all involved believed I'd violated a directive/regulation against self testing which as far as I know (and have since checked) does not exist at all. There is a waver for testing on others in our systems but as far as I can see the self testing regulation does not exist. I don't want any action taken with any members of staff as they aren't at fault but rather, would like to see clarity on the regulation itself. I'd like this to be considered as it is immensely difficult to move forward with any product if this is the case as there is never any willing test subjects for trials. I'd like to make it clear that tests had been carried out on other shifts before human testing. Let us not forget that Lysergic acid diethylamide was self tested by its creator, Gordon Alles self tested amphetamine and methylenedioxyamphetamine, Leandro Panizzon self tested Methylphenidate. Self-experimentation in medicine is an extremely common and well established practice and I'd ask you for the sake of business viability to consider and amend this regulation if it even exists. Did you report it to a Head of Department or IAA? If so, who?: No as this is more a regulatory clarification. Actions taken: N/A Additional Notes:
