As the title says. Make it so you can only speak and listen to common channel via intercom and hand held radios. Department radio can stay on the headset. This will give antags and edge, reduce common spam and reduce the omniscient power of the AI (no more ";help"). Also silly miners will need to turn on their sensors or die ;^) Thoughts?

I think that a malf AI probably should have access to weird and wonderful things. The issue is with general AI's power. Oft times it's not even the AI's fault per se, just a product of their abilites. For example, I've had my antag gimmick shut down because some one said ";help" over the radio. AI leapt to their location and it was game over. Removing the AI's ability to jump to people and instead rely on jumping to cameras would help if we're not whitelisting them. Maybe the "10 seconds and the bolts raise" suggestion from chada above would be cool.

If it comes down to seriously removing them, I'd rather they were whitelisted first to see if that fixes the issue.

Imo sec and the boys shouldn't really have access to "armor plate replacements" as standard and should have to rely on other departments for those. Maybe be able to wrangle some low tech plates from an autolathe and a smart cargo tech but the big stuff probably should require the research department. 1) For balance as antags won't have access to seas of repairs and 2) cross department interaction.

It's designed to be if ignored if you wish, like how you can largely ignore the effect of cigarettes and other mood effecting items.

As the title says, remove protohumans because they don't really make sense lore wise (where do they come from, why does no one care that their species is being mass produced) and at the moment don't really give much info' in regards to medical testing etc. Replace them with, "anthropomorphic test devices" aka crash test dummies but futuristic. I'm thinking a mob which is synthetic, has fake organs inside and actually can be used to give feedback on feelings, pain etc. Maybe you click on it and it gives you a screen with details, maybe it comes with a handheld tool you scan it with that tells you. Could have it contain fake organs of all species or maybe have different types for different species. Braindead vac drones can stay as they do make sense lore wise. Thoughts? Possible?

As the title says. A choice of four auras which trigger a passive fluff text. They are chosen via perhaps a verb: 1)None - does nothing. (Default). 2)Calm - "The presence of [chaplain name] makes you feel calmer." 3)Focus - "The presence of [chaplain name] makes you feel focused." 4)Fury - "The presence of [chaplain name] fills you with righteous fury." Why - just to spice up the role and give it some pep as well as give characters a reason to interact with them/bring them along. How - Honestly I think it just being something that "happens" due to their force of personaility is fine, no further explanation needed. If you don't think your character has enough force of personality to do this then don't use it. To my mind I can imagine an Athiest Chaplain being brought in to a negotation between hostiles to bring calm and ease tensions. Perhaps the Ma'ta'ke Priest is on hand for the medical staff during a crisis to help them focus. Maybe the station is being attacked by raiders and the Sk'akh Priest is on hand to encourage a righteous fury in security to repel boarders. The wording is vague enough for you to do with the fluff text what you believe suits your character, for example maybe they feel slightly calmer but not enough to actually calm down. Maybe their "righteous fury" isn't anything religious but just a drive to do the right thing. You know your character. Thoughts?

Paradox is a solid dev and I like the idea of exploring skrell living in other regions of space, not under the yoke of the Federation. Their general lore contributions have always been impeccable and their "customer service skills" is top notch imo. I think they should get it.

I'd rather they didn't get backbacks/storage and it was encouraged folks in hardsuits carried storage containers instead/briefcases.

Bruhs and gals I have tweeked the list due to new sci. This problem can be resolved by upgrading the parts in your Deconstructive Analyzer. These parts will upgrade the stock parts in your Deconstructive Analyzer. DO NOT USE THE RAPID PART EXCHANGE DEVICE FOR THIS STEP. This is mainly due to the deconstructive analyzer being bugged and not being able to deconstruct lower reliability items when parts are exchanged with the RPE rather than manually. So, you must screwdrive the panel open on the deconstructive analyzer, crowbar the parts out and replace the circuit board and upgraded parts, then you can proceed to deconstruct the following list.
