Let's get diabetic up in heeeeere!
-
That's not really how it works in practice though. If you roll a D6 you have a 1in 6 chance of getting a 6. If you roll it the second time you still have a 1 in 6 chance not a 1 in 5. There is absolutely no guarantee you will get a 6 when you roll six times. No one's playing the game for three days straight without breaks anyway so what if you're like me and onle able to hop on quickly. You vote for whatever along with fourty people and bam, we're all playing Mutiny based on one players choice. To be honest, if it's not too much work I don't see why this idea can't be trialled to see what actually happens and how everyone feels but I personally feel the system is fine now. Edit: Also with a 40/1 vote it'd be over 66% so the majority would win making this example moot.

May as well just have randomised rounds to be honest. All this will do is lead to annoying instances of everyone playing a round 1 person voted for/act as though randomised due to spread out votes.

From my point of view, there is no "most people" in these threads about changing voting mechanisms. There is a very vocal minority group that gets sick of its least favorite round type being voted in occasionally and throws suggestions at the forums in the hopes of introducing a voting system that favors their preferred round types and/or axes out their least favorite round type. I am not saying this is specifically you, but rather, that this is a trend I've noticed. For this reason, I honestly don't think the voting mechanism should be on the table as something the community can have tweaked by voting on it or throwing enough suggestion posts at the board. We usually get something reasonably agreeable to plenty of people, and occasionally a voting surge happens for whatever reason and something less-than-popular slips through. It's not a bad thing, and people need to just let it go. I agree. Let's face it, they can't be that unpopular if they have the majority vote.

Yeah seems to fuck up the format after silvers second post for me

Not really man. No one's going to see that plaque, let alone talk about it (plus every xenobio would have a degree). Posters (especially of ATLAS) are going to get talked about, even if it's just a, " you're into ATLAS? Me too!". Not withstanding the potential for conflict RP. You're grandpas old flask isn't going to generate any RP. Nor is your old jumper other then "oh, nice jumper" (which is meta anyway since it's just an old jumper. No one comments on these things). Saying it'll get torn down is a moot point as that in itself is causing more RP then the plaque example (which could also be taken away anyway.) Edit: I'll be quiet, sorry!

This. I'd prefer to see a more hilariously disproportionate increase in pay as one scales up a la real life. Heads (and too a degree IAAs) should be making bank. I'm excited for this combined with the persistent pay/moneys that's being developed. That's being developed right Jackboot-san?! You promised!!

The hero this server needs.

So a re-sprited grinder with different sounds? I'm...ok with this.

Read what I was saying earlier about a compromise before you say I'm basically just mad. Someone already made that point, and I tried to suggest other things. There wasn't any blocked passageways or anything like that, just turtling down in the middle of the brig. I would understand dropping some shields down in narrow halls in a chase, but he wasn't even trying to run away. The entire situation felt silly after I had brought them down with flashbangs and everything when they're just sitting there like a rock. The walls could remain indestructible, but I still think cultists need a nerf when they can viably sit out in the open and prepare spells, untouchable in a crowd of security officers for a long time before any bombing starts. Didn't you actually win in the end though? Did the cultists ploy not infact fail?

Interested but how's this work? We're not Nations then I assume?

COMPLAINT CRITIQUE http://aurorastation.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=4953 - 5/7 'Obviously Zombies' angle was meh but the "teddies thrown out of pram" 'end' (because lel I'll be back, you can't kill meGold Star for whoever gets that reference) post was just the bee's knees. http://aurorastation.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=4943 9/10 Leave MetaphysicalPersona alone! Personally I just like the fact that it isn't going anywhere. Delicious.

Question uno: Could this be used as an alternate power source? Question два: Can this be used to create beings of pure electrical energy a la Golems? If yes to the above, +1 from me.

"Aww yeah bae bae, you bend down and pick up that crate fer me gurrl." "Please don't stare at my down there senpai~" "Mhm damn guurl just let it happen." "H-help me sec, I'm b-being touched in a lewd place~" It just roleplays itself! Seriously though I say have it in because fun.

Err a philosophy essay for fucking English? Is your teacher retarded or just lazy? Save no one but write a very verbose reasoning. Bonus Points: Make your reasoning comically Nazi like. Gold Star: But also logical.

Sorry to bust in but can this just be a think which we can choose in our custom loadouts? I've got a card carrying ATLAS member too and no doubt he would also be rocking this!

Sometimes Inaprovaline just doesn't cut it. The sturdiness of the bed shouldn't count too much. The doctor would be positioned at the middle of the patient to allow chest compressions to be done. I do love the sheet idea which could even be used for crime scenes to cover the dead during investigations. Well Inaprovaline is always better unless they have Dylovene in 'em and a situation where you're having to roll a crit person over to medbay who needs dat goddamn CPR right now but also has tonnes of Dylovene in their system seems slim. On the other hand why the hell not? If the devs wanna make it then cool.

Can we get an anti-synth armband as well? Not sure if any groups fit that bill though to be honest.

Five star post 10/10

If you attack some one and kill them (even with intent to subdue) it's murder. If you kill in self defence through reasonable escalation then you're fine. If it was unreasonable (you pull a knife in a fist fight) it's murder. Manslaughter is more for not setting up X equipment properly (in the auroras case) causing death.

I think it should still be in but solely as a device to prevent mind control. That's it.
