1. keinto Is there any specific action you have in mind for this to be conducted by staff? To me it doesn't seem like a case of willful neglect, but rather being swamped and thinking they can manage better. At the moment I'm just considering advising them per my post above.
2. The player in question is aware of this complaint and is given until the 7th to post.
3. Reporting Personnel: Raymond Hawkins Rank of Reporting Personnel: Captain Game ID: bRf-cZhs Personnel Involved: (Name, Rank: Offender/Witness/Other (Ckey)) - Amelia Flynn, Quartermaster: Offender - Noir, Detective: Witness - Daniel Carmichael, Security Officer: Witness - Farah Malik, Shaft Miner: Witness Time of Incident: 20:16 Real time: 1:30 or so GMT+4 Location of Incident: Cargo Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property [X]Neglect of Duty []Harassment []Assault [X]Misconduct [X]Other Embezzlement Overview of the Incident: Amelia Flynn, a Quartermaster has decided the embezzle funds from the Cargo account. Earlier in the shift they decided to remove funds and reward her department by providing them with a premium of what I recall was 2,500 credits for the supply department, this money being gained from selling Nanotrasen owned resources mined from the asteroid. The Head of Personnel, Vanessa Ross stopped and I believe we essentially wrote it off as unfamiliarity with procedure, which was thoroughly explained to even by myself as they tried to appeal the action. Later on the shift, the cargo financial account had won a lottery of 1.5e+006 credits, which I believe Miss Flynn had caught on with, where they promptly decided to clear out the majority of the account, barring 3935 credits. I'll provide factual proof at the end of this incident. This was noticed by myself and due to the Head of Personnel being SSD along with the Head of Security at the time, I took it upon myself to investigate. And based on reports found on the radio and a PDA testimony indicating such information which came from Shaft Miner Farah Malik. I had tasked security to investigate this and to search Amelia Flynn with a warrant but that was not necessary in the end. The offender in question decided upon my arrival to departures show me a large pile of credits and then later ask for a ticket to the cockpit of the shuttle. You will find photograph evidence and account details at the end of this report. Did you report it to a Head of Department or IAA? If so, who?: I was the highest authority on this station. Actions taken: They were detained under my orders as after they showed me the money, they refused to return it and ran off. They also resisted arrest by security. Considering this was done during crew transfer, the money was confiscated and they were placed in the shuttle holding cell. Additional notes: Accounting Report of the Cargo Account Photographic evidence of the cash
4. We thank you for taking the time and applying, and should you feel that you wish to be a moderator, on your own volition, feel free to apply. For the time being, locking and archiving.
5. This is all well and good, we do sometimes inform people when we believe they should apply, however. I cannot find myself able to support this under this premise. We're all volunteers and all of us are staff because we like and want to be there, among with wanting to help the community in some way. My suggestion is for you to reapply at a later date when you yourself want to, not because people have been pressuring you to. Otherwise, I'd like you to affirm that you yourself would like this position. You are still able to support and help the community much like you're already doing with your security oriented discord, which frankly has done quite good, without coming on as an official staff member.
6. I think the issue here is that you over-reached a bit. A good rule of thumb is to always focus on the living. "Can the current staff handle the wounded while I clone?" If the answer is no, you should hold off on the cloning. You could go ahead and scan the bodies quickly while the players are around but come back to the actual cloning when you've got the time and means to give them the physical and mental treatment cloned patients require.
7. Locking and archiving.
8. I just denied your previous appeal. Try again in a week.
9. I'm not even flaming nor trolling, I'm just taking the piss. Alright, in that case. Appeal Denied. Feel free to appeal again in the future when you're not taking the piss at peoples expense.
10. I'm not joking. https://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=15
11. gayboy delta (ur fired) isn't a member of staff. Correct your format.
12. Instead of your ckey, provide me with you discord username.
13. Use the format.
14. why do i even need to be posting this shit for discord, why are all discord bans perma, i wasnt even warned fam i just got bamboozled off rip Use the format.
15. Better late than never. In truth, we've actually discussed this topic at length among the adminstration team and Trish's conclusion is supported among us. In essense, we've given Schev a probation period of three months wherein he isn't permitted to moderate the forums other than the basics of moving/locking threads when requested or to fix an error. This has been conveyed to him with the understanding that any breach of these conditions will most likely, if not surely resulting in their position of Moderator being revoked. As this staff complaint has been resolved and necessary action already conducted, I will be locking and archiving.
16. That's alright, we'll look into this and have the player in question respond. Just something to keep in mind in the future.
17. Generally, Medical should not be cloning patients unless they are properly able to handle their recovery, from the physical and mental aspects of it. The player in question has a few incidents regarding medical play but considering their activity, those things have been addressed by themselves. From a glance, it seems like the cloning was really rushed, with little thought towards the long term well being of the patient. I'll wait to hear from their side before addressing it further. Though, could you explain why this wasn't ahelped? Seems like this could've been easily dealt with during the round.
18. I'll start with saying that you should indeed be ahelping these incidents. Letting things fester only cause things to get worse. Now, before giving out any judgement, I'm going to wait on giving out any ultimatums to hear their defense. However, I'm still going to address the points cited here. A cursory glance at his record as a player has shown me 24 distinct entries by staff, five of which are "active" warnings along with numerous role bans, honestly, I'm kind of surprised they don't have a permanent ban at this time but I'm sure the acting staff have better context than I do currently.. Some things cited in this complaint has already been dealt with, namely the chemist and age matter so no action will be done to those. It's very likely this will end with an ultimatum to shape up towards the rules we have, but we shall wait and see their reply.
19. So, I don't feel this complaint in particular should sit around too much. At this time, CCIA has declined to take this as a potential Incident Report due to the antagonistic involvement of this round along with the factors attributed by the raider presence. I also don't feel this would warrant an Out-Of-Character action from the staff team and especially the command white list team. Decisions like these while not entirely becoming of a Head of Security on board as a visitor, but we felt the actions that led and what occurred was justified and valid as to not necessitate action on our end to the player themselves. This along with testimony from players involved here has made us deem this as a non-issue. Since I gave my verdict quite fast, I'm going to let this sit for 48 hours instead of 24 in case more relevant information is brought to light.
20. While we do thank you for applying, I'm going to have to deny this application on a few accounts. 1)Your inactivity. You're not around enough to give us an indication of your activity and we don't really operate on promised activity as it hasn't yielded good results in the past. 2) I feel there's a bit of an issue when it comes to your attitudes. Something you've also touched on in your application. Along with your mentality, while you are entitled to it, is not really in tune to what we operate on as staff. Don't take this as something to discourage you from applying in the future. In fact if you are able to address these issues in the future, I do encourage you to apply.
21. While we do thank you for apply, I'm still going to have to deny this application on a few points. 1) The main presiding issue here is quite honestly your maturity. While we don't expect people to be serious at all times, as that would be an unfair expectation, we simply haven't seen enough to give us an indication on this. 2)A red flag to me was you applying for multiple positions at the same time, it made us feel you were doing so to find "a" position in staff. Don't take this as something to discourage you from applying in the future. In fact if you are able to address these issues in the future, I do encourage you to apply.
22. While we do thank you for apply, I'm still going to have to deny this application on a few points. 1) Your activity, it's very minimal and sporadic. You touched on this point and it does have merits, it's simply the fact that being part of the staff team means pulling your weight and sporadic activity is not something we find as a merit. Promised activity is also not something we operate on. 2) You've had quite a few negative interactions with staff that required intervention and/or administrative action, which has put some demerit to your application. I've already touched on this point with you before in this thread. Don't take this as something to discourage you from applying in the future. In fact if you are able to address these issues in the future, I do encourage you to apply.
23. So reading this, simply makes me uncomfortable selecting you for a trial phase. Gives me an indication that you're here due to peer pressure as opposed to your own will. I feel you'd burn out very quickly honestly. There's also a topic on your attitude to an extent, you get very heated in a lot of things and sometimes they don't translate to good things. Interested on your thoughts.
24. Could more information be given on the round type? The circumstances and such?
