Unless we end up banning one or all of you involved (specifically the two hunters and Lilium), the frank fact is that you are all going to have to get along after this complaint is over. So I would heavily advise all of you lot to figure out how you can square your stuff away in a manner which allows for you to continue start acting as respectable and normal members of the community.

At present, the most prevalent strategy involved in the complaint appears to be, "LOOK! They did bad shit too!" Which will, at most, result in you dragging someone along with you. At the least, it'll involve us adding a note of, "Did not report bad conduct to staff; decided to take matters into his own hands and violated the rules as a result," onto your ban reason. The conduct of others does not excuse yours. It is an absoloutely clear violation to go and rag on about someone's character or rule violation or what have you past a certain point. After a certain point, you should just flag an admin and butt out of the conversation, awaiting the admin to handle the situation. It is toxic to continue.

Further of note is the fact that both of you, two hunters, seem to have the mentality of "Me vs you," in the complaint. When I butted into voice right around when Abo pushed his post button, I heard one of you go, "Well, Abo's reply is still in my favour." The other isn't better, considering the opening posts in this thread. Which, while hilarious when viewed through my lens of dark humor, is absoloutely counter productive to any of you actually getting the point of this thread and what issues you have against one another. So. Instead of trying to "win", and getting banned in the process. Try to figure out what the fuck the issues present here and unfuck them for yourself and others.

Me, Soviet and others will all sit down and discuss it, right now I will be withdrawing from here unless something serious happens, Armory and Xander, if your points are solved, I would like your final comments on if you want to also hope into the discussion.

What I have told you and pretty much anyone else thus far is not to "take your problems away from here", but rather to actually report issues like these as soon as they come up. Preferably to an admin straight away as it's happening so they may take immediate action if it is a main-server issue. Including the official discord.

This arguably will give you better results than if you were to hold onto this and let it bottle up for the worst amount of time. If you subscribe to a more self-centered point of view, then lemme put it this way. If you have something to solid to report and you want someone dealt with, it will benefit you way more just to report something right away because that is the right thing to do that everyone expects of you anyway, whether you do it for selfish reasons or not. It also has the neat beneficial consequence of benefiting other people of not getting clued into your business.

You don't need to get along with pla, just try not to make it everyone's business, please. Avoiding pettiness is just bonus points.

Staff Members, Me and Soviet have sat down and talked about civilly and have agreed that many of issues I should not a brought up. I will try my best to stay out of other personal affairs with Lilium and Soviet unless directly asked to intervene, which doesn't seem likely. I have heard both sides and realize that I did overreact on the complaint a bit and am now dropping my complaint due to the fact that it has been solved by talking it out with Soviet. As long as there is nothing other people want to bring up, you can close it.

Joking aside, I have interacted with voice many times and was inside conversations and I will address how I witness people change and how the individuals act in regards of things.

HunterRS - Personally, he seems like a nice dude and I have seen improvements over the years. He still has a narrow view about rule violations regarding IC in OOC conduct before arguing with staff inside voice chat when they promptly punish him, often times taking the entire channel into hell with everyone commenting frequently how this will not end well. He also seems to push sensitive topics despite people telling him to drop it.

Soviet - I had limited interactions, personally, seems like a nice dude. He does show that he jokingly shit talks people and this always has the ability to be taken the wrong way.

Lilliam - She has seemed in my point of view before I turned inactive to when I came back did a complete 180 in her personality. Frankly, I find it a little sad about the drunken Lill. It turned from topics of her cat to topics about creepy voices and personnal relationships.

Honestly, I know I am a bit late to jump onto the bandwagon. Let's all take this as a learning experience before the VC is debated for removal.

Hunter and I talked over voice and currently I do believe we have resolved most of our outlying issues. I'm just going to avoid Lilium in general, and I will refrain from being too crude or sarcastic in my humor when it could be considered condescending or insulting.

[mention]Sharp[/mention] I'd just like to point out, aside from my little paragraph piece I really wanted nothing to do with this complaint, nor did I care whether it was made or not, but I was kind of dragged in against my will. Anyway, I'm more here to clarify, "Drunk Lilium" I guess it's being called now, is not a voluntary thing and I usually forget what I say while in this level of tired which usually leads to issues, as I don't know if I actually did something or not. It also means I am not consciously aware of what I'm doing. I don't know why it happens and it is most certainly a problem.

[mention]Eve[/mention] Also, if you have issues with my character, that's all well and good, but again, this is not about me, (or it's not supposed to be) so if you have issues, either talk to me directly or make a character complaint please, because honestly this is not the place to air grievances about my character, which by the way, I am not as open about her backstory with as you say I am, I am in fact very quiet about it. The only way you'd know is if you read the exploitables, which I made in the interest of giving antags some interaction if they needed, and should not be taken as 100% canon. And you know, him reading the exploitables in a mocking tone does seem like legitimate grounds for someone already fed up with them, to be even more fed up. Despite your stance seeming to be on the "moral high-ground" you have seen very limited interaction between Soviet and I OOC and should honestly not put your two cents in without knowing the full story (though that's my opinion and despite the blunt wording I mean no offense).

So anyway, please kindly leave me out of this as stated prior, as I wanted nothing to do with it really in the beginning and my original posting was after being pushed to for about a half hour by about four or five people who I'll leave nameless, because I'm not annoyed at them for it, and don't want them in shit. And again, sorry for being passive-aggressive if I came off as such, I just want these things known.

Three things Abo.

Point 1: I posted this after getting tired of having to deal with this, as much as I friends with the other victims, I feel like even if I am I should be able to stand up for them. Every time I try to stand up for someone I have heard Soviet go, "Oh here comes Hunter again to save the day" or something like that. While sometimes the intent is to joke around, when I speak up and he says that, it sounds like he is attacking them.

While standing up for your friends is normal and commendable depending on the context, I still feel both you and [mention]Theplahunter[/mention] are wrong.

 

Point 2: Yes, the Past can be put in the past, but as you seen we all improve, thats why I want that pushed back, I have changed and improved on my ability to take criticism, and have changed Edgar around it. But the past of a permaban for being toxic to the community? Thats something that should stay there if he is still doing it.

While you are correct, and out of fairness, a persons history is reviewed, I still find this hypocritical coming from you.

 

Point 3: I do not intend on making everyone listen to my Rimworld game, but most of the time people are quiet and don't say anything. If someone has a problem with it, I am sure then able to listen and calm it down. Now that I see it is a problem I will tone it down. But I at no point intended to out do anything, I may have said it but I really didn't mean it. I like listening to others games and someone has a problem, bring it to my face instead of talking behind my back.

You're diverting. Both of you were trying to outdo the other by narrating your rimworld games. Both of you are wrong. End of story.

Frankly, Skull has more or less got my opinion on this complaint. There is no winner, this complaint is not really going in favor of anyone. The end result will be either you get along or the medium in which all these issues arising being removed from certain individuals. Side administrative action may occur as well for more specific cases cited here.

This really. Some of these issues were raised to us, many were not. We cannot deal with things that we are not aware of. If things just bottle up and explode at a later time, it doesn't really

Now, considering this has apparently been resolved between some of the related parties but not all. I'm going to make an administrative statement here.

[mention]LiliumArgentium[/mention] You can't expect people to stay quiet when you do call people cucks, people will reply with banter, which you may perceive as personal attacks. Being drunk is not an excuse, you will need to learn what and when you can do things when under the influence. You are involved in this, even though the complaint is pointed at Pla, others are at fault.

But should there be further toxic behavior between you two, administrative actions will occur to both of you, don't take matters into your own hands, report them.

Yes, this is all effectively a slap on the wrist, but it is a warning and further incidents of misconduct, toxicity and rule violations will be escalated harshly. Deeming this resolved. Unless further information comes to light, this will be locked and archived in 24 hours.
