Im going to be very honest with my verdict, emotions seem high over this and I understand why, but onto the main topic However I have come to a verdict on this, while Crystal did exaggerate on some issues that I was able to double check with the logs ,the point of the complaint still stands clear at the very very poor antag play that went on in this. Being a antag be used as a power trip and even with vampire gimmicks there is a sense in not letting it get to this point as the round becomes less rp and more bent on trying to overpower the station. However with this said,I will have a verdict in place soon

So after a few days of considering actions and how this should be handled, I have made a few observations from this. Butter could of handled the interaction better, there was a lack of buildup to the event but the escalation was indeed there and was valid, as confirmed by Doc allowing them to side with the AI in a way. The Head Of Security was acting in a irrational way towards the threat and instead of going along with it to preserve life, he made rash decisions that ultimately led to his death after he multiple times tried to directly make or cause issues with the AI to end it, even going as far as to try entering the core itself. @Itanimulli wont be punished as the issue remained between butter and driecg36 . However with this being said, my verdict on this will remain as: Butter will be given a warning for the lack of buildup to the situation and due to past instances of behavior, had there not been a past instance of this behavior, this would only be a note. Not targeted at anybody involving this but a good note, when playing a round, its best for everybody to ensure you can be reasonable at times when the antag might not be, this helps drive a more positive experience for yourself and others involved in the story

I will go ahead and lift the ban, however please in the future try and not log off right after something critical for a round like this.

I am going to be in -1 Support of this due to the main issue of how you conducted yourself. Sure making Mark Pryce was a stupid move and we can move forward from that mistake, but you made a entire complaint acting serious about it the entire time only to find out you did it as a fuck you to the ccia team and staff. You also havent played much since leaving for awhile and I dont feel you are ready to be put back into that position

More effort should have been made to escalate with the wider crew prior to the bloodbath at the end. This could have been accomplished by [mention]Kaed[/mention] taking over command sooner, bloodsucking/developing the gimmick/story with specific crewmembers, or otherwise having better interaction with the crew. The bloodbath at the end wasn't necessarily bad/no RP, as long as the conflict was escalated. There are very unique moments to be had when your character is helpless, for example. Some circumstances being out of their control is part of roleplaying a well balanced character. The red alert, while iffy, was dealt with in round and I believe acceptable within the parameters. Also should clarify in the complaint that antagonists are allowed to recall voted crew transfer shuttles so long as they have a clear plan to escalate, with an end in mind, and get permission from admins. For a resolution, [mention]Kaed[/mention] will be given a warning referencing the poor escalation to red alert towards the end of the round and the lack of interaction with crew towards this happening. What Kaed should have done and how he can improve this for next time will be verbally communicated to him to help him as a player understand how to avoid scenarios such as this. [mention]Azande[/mention] wont be punished as he wasn't an antag until he was dominated and ordered via dominate to send the red alert out Remember, antagonists and crew aren't meant to aim to 'win' against each other. The goal of an antagonist is to drive a story, and the duty of the crew is to help develop that story. Some gimmicks are conductive to this, some aren't. You won't be punished for trying out a gimmick that ends up going badly, as long as if there is a next time the mistakes aren't repeated. We should all be open to feedback and the impression I get from this thread is that Kaed is. We all play the same game and nobody is perfect, but we can all try our best each round. To add onto this and to avoid confusion aswell as set a more proper future precedent, lets discuss loyalty implants as this was brought up. While powerful and are used to keep certain command staff from influence of foreign company influences aswell as security reasons, its possible for a loyalty implanted crew member to be dominated/thralled, however this could only be done by a vampire who has unlocked there full potential/powers as while the implant is present, the influence of a more advanced vampire like this is reasonable enough to break this mental shield. I will be leaving this open for 48 hours before locking it

Before going further into this post, let it be known I don't hate burger or have anything against them However with Neinbox's posts I thought I should share some past interactions with burger. To clarify context before this, we had been meming in discord with [mention]ParadoxSpace[/mention] and Voltage and trazz about I think replacing the Zorah soda with Booty Juice (Which is a tropic thunder meme) and sure can be seen as annoying or not funny. Now sure, Burger is under no obligation to help teach anybody to code or be there tutor, however as a developer you are and should be considered to keep yourself at the same standard as staff, which entails being able to keep a sense of coolness in a situation you may dislike and sure the situation was annoying, however the issue I had was, Burger went from expressing his annoyance at me for in the past asking him questions, some even about bug requests he made to further help him get these resolved and he has no issue replying to these, to him making a complaint directed towards me for "being too annoying and messaging me", which to the benefit of the doubt he deleted to how dumb it really was. However to my next point, as a developer if you create a system for others to work and build off such as your dungeon PR, it should be atleast expected to help others further work forwards, and however at the time I had you blocked after the last issue for my own sake, I was told to ask you in the code channel which I did, the the same attitude was given However again, Not bashing you really for this, however I think it should be made as a observation by yourself to improve from in the future. To move onto my final two points, another behavior that concerns me is: When you are upset with how something goes in a round that you dislike, it seems you make a PR to change or remove this aspect, that or you base it from your personal dislike of a issue and I think [mention]Coalf[/mention] described it very well in his post on the parapen thread However my last issue and I will give you credit that you have improved but, learning conflict resolution skills I think would suit you for this position to make it easier on yourself, I have personaly noticed insitance where you or another player makes a comment in looc or on the forums and it ensnares you into a argument with said person, not going to post the examples but I assume you know who these people are. With all of this said, im staying neutral for the time being. I rarely see burger ingame anymore and would like to be able to view ow he interacts with others, as you are a fantastic coder, however I believe you can work on your relations and people skills with others before you are placed into full developer. Should I see this improvement, I will gladly support this fully.

You admitted you were rushing into aid security as FT is boring and you asked why do we have FT if you cant get involved in combat. [mention]Fairness and Honor[/mention] ahelped multiple times and Enginer talked to you aswell before in that round about validhunting/powergaming. It was ethier a warning or a Sec ban and I along with Dream opted to warn you instead of ban you from sec, as you have a history of this behavior
