Forgive me if I misremember, but I believe these buffs were limited to freshly cooked food, which means visiting the cook would be a necessity in order to get said buffs. Edit:with apologies if I'm mistaken

I'd just rather they removed the whole joint dislocating/breaking as a thing. If you have to make a concious choice whether to ghost or not just to stay "active" in the round and see what is happening instead of waiting two hours for someone maybe to find you then something is wrong. Note, I don't mind if it's an active thing like being held. I just really want to avoid being left effectively helpless for the entirety of the round.

Pardon me but this sounds like an excellent solution to your whole problem. Sec is going to camp the kitchen and every labor job will as well. Why are you throwing up all these PRs when you've got something awesome like that in the works?
-
If you -really- want to get some RP out of the whole thing then go code a lunch cart and go deliver.

Relatively simple requests can also be relatively wrong. Burritos as is are already fairly easy to make (inb4 xd he doesn't even play xdd) and only take a trivial amount of effort to make. seriously, one meat per burrito is fine. you can make a shitload of meatballs without much effort. Thing is that meatballs in turn cost a lot of animal protein, something that will hurt the kitchen economy unless you use some near exploits in order to get enough of it.

Spoken like a gentleman.

On one hand: Unless the amount of animal protein in things has changed it's fairly easy to obtain enough for plenty of Burritos. You just have to get a bit creative with the microwave and some recipes. On the other: This is a fairly reasonable request for an "entry" type food to cook as a chef. I can get behind it. Especially the vegetarian burrito. Aside, Desty Nova will approve of the Flan. +1 for this.

Add Insulated/Electrical Gloves to the Xenowear Loadout.
Asheram replied to furrycactus's topic in Archive
Yes they can be, but I'm saying that it seems strange from an in character perspective that taj/unathi engineers are expected to buy their own gloves, during every single shift, instead of them being provided, or being blatantly unsafe with regular gloves. Indeed. OSHA would have a field day with Aurora2 as it is. Do we even have an OSHA representative aboard? -
Ä very slight aside but on the topic of Atmospherics. What happened with making Engine Technician a sub-category of the atmospherics job? There were some words about that a while ago.

Command Whitelist ERT But Provide Non-Command Something Too
Asheram replied to a topic in Rejected Policy
I love this suggestion, added to the fact that this allows people who doesn't dare join the ERT (for various reasons, competence and the like) to still come back and play mini-sec under actual crew command. +1 -
*coughs* Should point out that Xenoarchaeology already has a lot of things that could spawn in these dungeons. Ancient weapons, votive items, tools.. Heck, even the occasional anomaly. Wouldn't mind if Xenoarch got some actual structures to document and study.

Pardon? Right, they're part of the civilian sector. Give them a headset. +1

Oh hai. Here comes the *********** cuffing and then leg dislocating. Yeah, something needs to be done about this. +1, and not just while resting but while laying down in general.

There's a point in which you have to weigh the usability against the drawbacks. CPR is already balancing on the edge and any nerf would be pushing it into the abyss. CPR works fine as it is. It allows someone to keep someone going a bit longer. Let's not have people die for stupid reasons, shall we?

I'd say buff the TC's but keep the slots. Proficient traitors are still fairly rare, and the more traitors you have, the greater the chance of some interesting RP. Aside, the fewer traitors you have, the greater the chance of someone ending up in a sudden critical role during a skeleton crew who simply doesn't have the time to be an antag.

+1 As mentioned earlier, not having a way to safely travel between Z levels that doesn't rely on elevators or a stairwell in maintenance, to which not everyone has access, breaks so many OSHA regulations it isn't even funny. A secondary stairwell/ladder with civilian access is a must.
-
+1 I've already weighed in on the project and it is trimmed, has a more logical layout, and is plain neater than the previous incarnation of the department. It has my full endorsement.

[Resolved] Staff complaint: Tbear13
Asheram replied to Tequilajoe's topic in Staff Complaints Archive
I would like to add that we have encountered Catfolk, Lizardmen, Fishpeople, Energy-devouring hiveminded plant people, giant ants. If a human shows extraordinary (unnatural) biological abilities then the logical leap from "This is a human somehow modified to do this" to "This is an unknown alien disguised as a human." isn't that far away. -
As something different, and I know this isn't the thread for it but just checking on how it would be received, would it be possible to add an Administrative Hud which instead of calling up their security details allows you to easily call up their employment records?

+1 1. I like this idea. Research is busywork and this would let research play with the things instead of one dedicated scientist loading junk into the deconstructor in order to appease Robotics. 2. Depending on the difficulty of dealing with the servers, there could be interesting gameplay there, especially if you expand on them further. 3. It could lead to the creation of an entirely different antag/event mode where an AI spawns inside the research servers instead of having the regular old AI becoming malf, or something similar.
