Just make sure the more potent stuff is department restricted. That'd be something for engineering and security.

I think I may have worded it in a confusing way. Janitors have basic access already. This suggestion is to give Emergency Medical Response staff similar access levels. I only used janitors as a comparison. *facedesks* Yeah, wrote that early in the morning. An earlier suggestion post was about something similar and I mixed them up. Going to change my original post there.

+1 It makes no sense to have a janitor without enough access to actually clean the place. On the opposite side, this would make the Janitor a prime target for any hostile forces, but that'd also be a good RP point. Edit: Yeah, I'm an idiot. Gave the +1 but had another post in mind. I agree witht hat Paramedics and EMT need basic access. They can't wait around for someone to open up, or hope that there's a benevolent AI ready to open doors for them. If there's an emergency then they need to be able to open stuff on their own.

I'm all for some proper H+ stuff. Formalize it and you have my vote.

Manning the medbay entrance is probably the most RP job there is on the station because it's 1 hour of sitting on your arse before everything comes crashing down like a Juggernaut through security. There's nothing else to do than to talk to people as you watch that monitor so I have no idea how it stifles RP.

Add the airlock and a camera setup and you'll have my full endorsement. Still, you have a +1 from me for all the hard work so far.

Upon payment to Cargo the computer, or pad, would print a receipt of what was ordered, who ordered it, what it cost and who paid for it. And keep the transaction in its memory if you want to print further receipts in the future. Pretty much what it says in the title. Because ordering something for a department out of your own pocket is a darn chore, and whenever you wish for a receipt then cargo will have to write it manually.

Is it just me who is vehemently against making people the crew pay for their food? I'd much rather see that the kitchen got a proper budget from the HoP along with an expense account for acquiring ingredients.

+1 I fully endorse this suggestion. It's needed and something they already should've had.

Kitchen, Library, Chapel, Hydroponics, and Bar Overhaul.

Ah, yes. Didn't even consider the misc rooms. -1 until something is done. -

Perhaps if you could place the microwaves as close as possible to an eventual smartfridge? I do like that the microwaves do have some space from the tables though, making it easier for two chefs to pass each other. -
The above is a red herring (See: Appeal to Tradition) and distracts from the main argument. Just because something hasn't been addressed doesn't mean it's an issue. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appeal_to_tradition I'd argue the point that it's an exploit because it's been in the game for so long that it has become standard practice. It might be appealing to tradition, but since there have been no attempts at dissuading this practice for years then it's not fixing a bug, it's nerfing a feature.

Graphite is quite conductive, which is the reason to why you really don't want it in proximity of electronics in zero G

Roland, Halo series. Shows up in Halo 4 and onwards as the shipbound AI for the UNSC Infinity.

I suppose I'll have to sprite a giant humanoid rabbit if I'll ever bring back Harvey.

You know, since we're doing things fancily you could always include a closed circuit camera system, giving you a look at the cells even when the blast doors are down.

Well, it tended to end the round. Now when the tesla engine works again(?) then engineering should be able to just seal up any breaches and get that one going instead.

Another interesting alternative would be for remote control of APC's by engineering. Attempting to manage with little power could be an interesting thing.

Well, they're effectively plant shoggoths. As if Kudzu was intelligent and ate all forms of energy... and gained the memories of the biological things it ate. ...I hate them with the fire of a thousand suns.

Point. You could avoid that if you'd create the door I pointed out in 2, and make a conveyor belt go along the wall to where the pallet/crate markings are. Would remove the chairs though.
-
I suppose the two things that bother me would be 1. The lack of a conveyor system for retrieval of used crates. If you decide to return a cargo crate by hand then it's so untidy to be forced to leave it in the lobby. The current conveyor makes things a bit neater, so something like that would be lovely. 2. The fact that you have to cross an open hallway in order to get into the mailing room. As it is, the mailing room seems to stand apart from the rest of Cargo and it looks a bit odd. Especially as you have a perfect spot for a door there already. Don't get me wrong, I love the work you have done. It's just those two things that bug me.

... I want this so badly I don't have words for it. We've already got the chameleon projector to steal the code from

.... is this an intentional reference to the handkerchief code? I'm not certain that passes our erp rules

+1 A much more interesting way of restraining someone without injuring the subject while still being effective.
