Calling a escape shuttle icly should just start a transfer vote. If it gets denied, Odin gives some bogus reason like... "Shuttle is unable to launch due to currently undergoing maintenance." In terms of when to use it, if the entire station is vented and the round is a loss with no hope of saving it, that's when I think an evac is needed. ERT is when it's "We have X problem and it is presenting a manageable issue, but do not have the manpower and equipment to resolve it safely and within an effective amount of time"

I kinda think if this was canon it would be like... Top secret Tajara Cybernetic Super-Soldiers. Maybe due to their naturally superior reflexes, Tajaran brains and nervous systems make them ideal for cybernetic bodies.

This would be really nifty tbh. I think performing a modification to the station would be cool. Though I think it should still have cause for conflict or a way to take the station places. Maybe they're upgrading the station as a way to launder money, maybe they're just posing as the cleanup crew in order to get away with stealing engineering supplies. I know we should be drifting away from the idea of antags necessarily being antagonists, and moreso being heralds (as in the call to adventure for everyone else) but still, I think it would need something that engages the station in a way that causes conflict.

For what it's worth, Blaster Bolts are something as far as I'm aware can only be made with R&D guns, it is a very particular type of laser round that is incendiary. I am not sure if ERT or Foreign Legion are equipped with incendiary science weapons, I could be wrong, but it is likely that this was a misfire from a scientist.

I did the necromancer wiz posing as a doctor BTW. It was great. Sec soon found out about my shoddy fake ID, allowed for some good RP around not having a medical license, due to being thrown out of the medical academy for taking my assignments and research too far. I sadly did not find the time to fully revive someone, but I did gib the corpse of a scientist who died and left the round while I was attempting to raise the dead. This was later found by the CMO who did not trust me one bit for the remainder of the round. If I had more time to speak with the CMO, I probably would have murdered him and turned him into a skeleton, professing that my experiments have finally worked.

+1 Interacted with Kalna a few times, they are a character with a good grasp on the lore of Aut'akh Unathi. A critique of this would be that it doesn't have any examples of the character's interactions with the world. Describing an important event in the character's life in detail is a great way to get a glimpse at what their personality is like, I think. That said, I think it's a valid app still. Hopefully Zuqarsh is aboard Aurora soon.

I think that this is a nifty idea, but death should not be the result. You can choke on it for a while gaining oxyloss damage, then you either cough it up, or it goes into your lungs, at which point you will develop a lung infection if it isn't treated for x amount of time.

This morning, photos were taken following an explosion of an Adhomai research facility, revealing a being escaping the facility. It was a Tajaran head on a heavily augmented body, it is currently roaming free across the planet's surface facing very little adequate resistance. EMPs appear to have no effect on what is now being called MechaTajorsh. Reporters who managed to transmit an interview before being atomized when the bio-synthetic monster sneezed on them have died in vain, the only frame being captured from the interview being the following, which thankfully was live-captioned. The meaning of these words are still not known, but several of Adhomai's leading psychologists believe that the Tajara may have been experimented on without proper consent! This. So much of this. Especially that last part. I've had a merc round where I joined as a borg and spawned right next to the captain's office right as it was getting attacked. Once the hostiles were seemingly dealt with, a manhack grenade went off and what looked like engineers stormed into the room and began attacking the manhacks and me in the heat of the moment, got KO'd and removed from the round over what was conceivably a misfire. So basically, I got about ten minutes of high octane borg gameplay in before just dying, and waiting in my body, without even being able to see what was happening for about 25 minutes before giving up on being recovered. It wouldn't be so bad if borgs could ghost without losing any chance of revival. I don't think we need to go overboard, there are situations in which, to use the term... It is completely 'valid' to kill a borg. If you have good information that the station's synthetics are compromised and they are actively doing X to you, negotiations are futile due to their laws. You should do this in a way that allows for the player to have a good time, sure. But I have had situations where a quick combat decision would just make sense for my character. Also in the situation you mention... That should be ahelpable, the people who murderboned you should be able to get charged with vandalism at least and sabotage at worst ICly. One of the best things about borgs is that they can be fixed. If a competent enough roboticist repairs a malfunctioning borg, the body can be cut from the central AI, and a savvy science department can make an borg upload console to reset its laws. I think canonically we could just make it common knowledge that borgs can be recovered when broken down or malfunctioning if people act fast enough. OOCly, taking a borg to a roboticist should be treated exactly like taking a dying person to medical.

Maybe just add a language with some lame excuse that can only be used by humans? Call it pink-tongue or something IDK.

One good round I saw a bit ago had a Skrell Ninja who claimed to be a time-traveler from the future, here to stop Glorsh 2. It was a really creative concept. It inspired me a bit during my wizard round, in which I came up with a faction from the Wizard's Federation that functioned much like the Foundation from Asimov's books. The major difference being, that these wizards had a method of sending information back in time. Effectively letting them tell the future if they can record what is currently happening and inform their former selves. It is a headache like most plots involving time travel I guess, but it made for great motivation. I played Theodore Lorde, a man from America in the early 1800's who was brought into the federation due to having promising skills in magic. He had not had any contact with humanity since then, so returning to the station to investigate his own species led to him assuring that every human he met was in fact "Human" by simply asking. He was aware that humanity had ascended to the stars, but that did not stop him from spouting outdated concepts due to really not knowing where humanity was at culturally. I also played Wiz as the ultimate fucking snowflake know it all, and it was so good. I would casually make a remark about how AI were machine spirits pulled in from the veil, or red space, that Glorsh is going to be coming back eventually, that the Apex Vox created Xenomorphs, and that changelings exist. Made for a fun round of leaving people flabbergasted.

DANIEL BLAZE The space cop who has it all! He's got looks, hair, money and nothing could go wrong! Is he just some rich kid that found himself stuck in Tau Ceti after a trading expedition gone wrong? Yes. Actually that's basically his entire backstory, and I would like your opinion on it. His parents were very successful interstellar traders and Danny wound up getting his ship impounded due to not having any proof of ownership. Unable to really get anywhere, and with only a few bucks he wound up working in Security. Technically Daniel is an off-worlder. But I made him before I knew off-worlders were mechanically a thing. Does it make sense that he just doesn't have any off-worlder defects because his parents were rich and despite growing up in space, he had it pretty lavish? Would love ya'll feedback.

You have been vampire a few times. Most of my interactions with you have been passive to antagonistic. Though your character seems cool. Just too cool. Like, Cooler than BLAZE ... And that's pretty cool. Gonna probably tryna robust you next time I see you to test your coolness.
