  1. Links to pornographic websites. A wall of buzzwords with links mixed in.
  2. Trimurti is supposed to be a setup for the new planet-based map. You know, when (if) it comes.
  3. DID YOU LIKE SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS? YEAH YOU LIKED SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS GET FUCKING HYPED
  4. I wonder if the owners of servers can sue for copyright infringements regarding lore... Also, fuck. Fuck fuck fuck. You'd think SS13 being more popular would be a good thing. All that trailer did was fill me with dread. On top of that, it's coming from the guy who made DayZ. The ultimate gank'n'chucklefuck simulator.
  5. Probably because it isn't actually referencing anything. I think?
  6. Yeah, but we're not trying to be Goon here. Whitelists are fine the way they are. They're relatively easy to get, and so long as you don't screw up too badly/repeatedly, you won't have it taken away from you willy-nilly. Since we're a heavy roleplay server, the whitelists are necessary to vet the players and characters allowed to be in those roles.
  7. Neural implants would probably be enough to cause a seizure, you wouldn't need a fully cyborg brain.
  8. Since this is the future, police and SWAT armor might be actually bulletproof at this point, so I'd see ballistic weapons as being less and less of a threat. But energy weapons would pose a problem, and I could definitely see a new argument cropping up over the right to own them. Also, only a tiny portion of gun owners (i.e. the complete utter fucking idiots) think it's okay to walk around with an assault rifle or shotgun out in the open. The rest of us realize it's really fucking stupid and only acts to provoke others (namely the police).
  9. As an American who owns several firearms of the shotgun, rifle, and handgun variety, of various calibers, gauges, and models, I highly disagree with the whole full restriction of firearms. At the very least, some extensive background checks before being allowed to purchase handguns and rifles/shotguns, with restrictions on heavy weaponry or anything not ballistic, but complete bans? Shit son, that'd cause riots in and of itself.
  10. Frances, if you have gripes about the feeling of the weapons, get the Nexus Mod Launcher and download every single fucking one of Millenia's gun mods. They're the absolute fucking best. And get the ones that were also made by Naky or MTindle too as they work with Millenia on his stuff.
  11. >new game >10 luck, 10 intelligence >all points into sneak >make way through quarry junction up to vegas >steal and sell shit on the way >have 2000 caps >go into casinos >gamble until banned >buy anti-material rifle and explosive rounds >clear out vault 3 >sell energy weapons to buy more explosive rounds >rinse and repeat >??? >PROFIT!
  12. Am I the only person that actually likes the combat mechanics of the engine? Mainly because I always sneak attack with sniper rifles from afar, but it's pretty solid the way I play it. Also, what I liked best about Fallout was wandering the wastes, coming across the countless little scenes with skeletons and bloodstains and objects placed in a certain way, and then trying to figure out what happened.
  13. *You have received a new message from user d0ngmast3r69* Message Body: ey bby grl u lookn fien how bowt u n me go ot git sum gud seks
  14. Changing someone's personality through genetic modification is impossible. Just saying.
  15. What are you, a filthy casual? Who plays Bethesda games for the graphics?
  16. I know I'm 4 pages late and there's no way in hell I'm reading all of that, but you could just take the easy way out and call them illegal clones of the regular crewmembers... because that's actually a thing...
  17. The Biesel Institute of Medicine and Science, which is on Biesel... And the University of Karachi on Earth. Those are the only two I have ever used in any context. Yeah, the general rule is that if it doesn't exist, fudge up a name.
  18. Janet and Bluespace Cat, working hard to figure out what the fuck is going on. Apparently, if you cut out someone's liver and kidneys, they become invincible to any and all toxins, including chloral hydrate. 240 units of regular toxin were injected, and 50 units of chloral were applied after that. No effect. (This was all done on the protohuman in the scanner, not the IAA lying on the ground) Janet is now Dr. Frankenstein, and Inis is Igor since she helped with organ removals.
  19. This is actually pretty fucking metal.
  20. Reporting Personnel: Janet Bellard Rank of Reporting Personnel: Genetic Researcher Personnel Involved: Jaden Halliwell (Medical Doctor), Lachina Green (Medical Doctor) Time of Incident: Towards the end of the last shift of the day, March 29, 2457 Location of Incident: NSS Aurora, centralized within the medical bay Nature of Incident: [X]Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property [X]Neglect of Duty [X]Harassment [X]Assault [X]Misconduct []Other _____ Overview of the Incident: The shift started out as normal. Jaden Halliwell arrived late, though I did not find that unusual. He seemed and acted normal enough until an explosion in the cafeteria area resulted in injuries. Halliwell apparently received damage to a lung while retrieving a security officer who already had a damaged lung. When a blood transfusion was required after both of their lungs had been repaired, Halliwell displayed an ignorance as to how different bloodtypes could affect a person's body, which is basic knowledge for any qualified medical doctor, and is partially common knowledge even amongst the public. I had to point out the flaw in his logic when he thought O- and O+ were the same bloodtype, and as a result he started a pattern of insulting me. Over the course of the rest of the shift, as Halliwell displayed complete ignorance as to his duties and responsibilities (such as when he was discussing the death of someone to be cloned over the general radio), he also used the medical radio channel to continue to mock and insult me, showing a complete lack of professionalism. All of this culminated in an altercation towards the end of the shift. A man infected with an unknown virus came into contact with several other people in the medical bay lobby, so I pulled the fire alarm to quarantine the lobby while I attempted to distribute spaceacillin to delay any symptoms of the virus. Halliwell willfully broke the quarantine and exposed more personnel, and then for reasons that I did not witness, he started to attack Lachina Green. I rushed in to defend Doctor Green, and as a result Halliwell began to attack me as well. What happened next is still unclear in my mind, but by the end of the altercation, all parties were mildly injured, and I believe Halliwell used a portable defibrillator during the fight. Also, as a result, a patient that needed urgent care had expired, though I was able to successfully clone them. Halliwell disappeared from the medbay after that, and most likely left to the Odin on the transfer shuttle. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?: I reported this to Terrence Frank, the Internal Affairs Agent on duty at the time. He claimed that he was unable to help because he was off duty. Additional notes: I strongly believe that Jaden Halliwell was placed in the medical bay as a doctor as a result of a clerical error, and I would very much like that this matter be looked into.
  21. Imagine what it would be like if we hadn't banned all those griefy fuckers early on in the server's life. Hundreds of accounts, man.
  22. Maybe what we need are actual bullets! As in shooting the idiots! In the face! It'll totally work, who's with me? Let's do a witch hunt the right'n'proper way!
  23. Death is probably the most dynamic element of SS13. It can completely ruin one's round, or it can become something so memorable that you can't help but make it canon. Some people don't like the death or brutality that the game allows for. If so, it's probably not the right game for you, as deaths can come quick and cheap and from all directions. Like a bukakke of mortality. However, if the allure of RP outweighs the repulsion of death, then you'd probably learn to live with it, and then come to love it for what it is.
