ANYWHO, what it does.
Adds a new RIG Module that produces a shield around the RIG (and the dude inside the RIG by extension) that is able to deflect various forms of damage. Bullets and energy streams, yay! How does it work in game you ask? Great question.
When equipped (or spawned) on a RIG suit it starts off with a full charge. (5/5) Each charge is a 'hit', once the charge hits 0 the shield drops until the user manually charges it back up to full and re-activates it.

Good question, you see, being a shield generator is tough work and you need a lot of power to produce one on such a small and concentrated scale. So, when your shield is drained you need to turn on the recharge function, which is going to eat through about 800 energy per charge. So to get a recharge, you need a grand total of 4000 power! Not to mention it takes roughly 30 seconds for each charge to regenerate itself during this process.

good question, luckily you can stop the regeneration process at any point by hitting the button again!
