  1. I believe this is being worked on and someone sent a similar suggestion?
  2. I will say I've seen some form of improvement recently as well, mostly with their new character. I have as well, he seems more tolerant of antagonists. I would like to drop my previous statement, I no longer have an issue with Riqpley considering how much time has passed and Riqpley has made use of the time.
  3. I'm actually against the idea of restricting the observers starting the vote AND being able to vote. People observing the round can receive information of what is actually happening in the round that no one ICly & OOCly knows , e.g. Antags unable to do anything, and the situation is beyond recovery & players are unable to call emergency shuttle. Furthermore, it doesn't necessarily always means that the character's player had died ICly wants to start a vote. There is countless of reasons of why players could be starting a vote as observer. Do we need to break down and interrogate the player why CT should be called? No. Everyone in the server are players, observers are even players, observers have the ability to change the tide of the roleplay. There is no reason for this to be added. Although, speaking of politics voting... If this does get added, (and I'll be very pissed with others) we need to be observant of ideal of Majority Rule. Am I the only person who is completely opposed to the idea and is a conservative? Easy enough to make a counter to that. I came up with two methods. How to bypass the restrctions v2 1. Observe 2. Ask players playing to start a vote 3. Vote 4. ??? 5. CT occurs How to bypass the restrictions v3 1. Observe 2. Do something for thirty minutes 3. "Respawn" 4. Start Vote 5. Vote 6. ??? 7. CT occurs 8. If CT does not occur, head back to step 2 ICly wise These are the methods that can be used to defeat the purpose of this suggestion.
  4. I usually always ask moderators/admins for permission to turn down the crew transfer votes to continue the round and attempt to make the round turn for the better. I guess I was doing the right thing before the ruling was declared.
  5. You're very welcome.
  6. Will definitely not use this guide.
  7. That's amazing! Where do we start?
  8. I suppose we can not and see if you have a chance to share the spot with Cake.
  9. +1 We had a few conversation about robots. He does demonstrate a good knowledge of how robots behaves. See https://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=7834&p=75512#p75512
  10. Because of this, Tajarans and Unathis both have become my weaknesses when I play against them as antagonist.
  11. Don't get too cocky. Whoever said it was a kidnap mission? No one did. You did not give mercenary to respond. Who started the fight without an attempt to talk down and negotiate, I wonder? Sure, the run-of-the-mill gunfight does happen with Security-Mercenary... But, I assure you that this is not accurate definition of a usual gunfight between Security on the offensive while Mercenary are not a big threat. There were some good RP between civilian and mercenary upon arrival on the station for instance I communicated with a mute tajara. Who's we? The revives were not adminhelped but discussed over AOOC. Although, it was outright gank, but I'm not going to argue about it. Now where did I hear this before? I think that's what Xander as Captain Stamos implied. Shut down the RP. And... We know that you will turn down the offer if we had surrendered and requested to leave. You mean to say that you armed up and handed out lethal weapons in Code Green? We had our face unmasked, we had an old man actually speaking like an old man. I don't know what there is to speak about this, there was no RP in it. Don't try to justify Bryce Winter's action for pulling out a gun on us. You're so right, we should have stayed still with our equipment concealed and take the shot three times before we can pull it out. I'm sorry, I should have stayed then be killed while the officers celebrates their victory. It was so unfortunate this happened that we had to act on our basic instincts to retaliate in order to defend ourselves from doing... What was it again? To see our sister and have a conversation of how long it has been. There shan't be family reunion. Or, we can place the blame on you? For arming up during Code Green and then... Gee, I don't know, there weren't other ways to do handle the situation? Try thinking for a moment to assess the situation. The responses are pretty simple, I shall now forever hold my peace and await for the investigation to start anytime.
  12. BYOND Key: UnknownMurder Staff BYOND Key: Not Megatron Game ID: bNd-dy8t Reason for complaint: Superiorform, ForgottenTraveller, Riqpley_dagasd, and I wish to overturn the decision of Vira Taryk firing at the Mercenary was in the wrong. To avoid any out of context information, I shall explain the opening statements of how it reached to this. When the mercenary has arrived aboard the station with guns inside the backpack, concealed. An inference that the security is showing because of a particular officer, Bryce Winters pulls out their gun and shows a hostile attitude toward to the mercenary talking. We pulled our gun out because for as you know, we're not going to sit by and have a gun going to be pointed at us. Guwan (Riqpley) pulls out a shield and a gun and stayed there while I protected our old man father Greywolf (Superiorform). Bryce Winters later holsters it. We have a little conversation that seemed to be neutral but hostile coming from Vira Taryk. It's clear that she is out to get us, it really is in that tone. We explain it to her and the bystanders that Kalla-Karisco Cama Cama (Research Director, SonicGotNuked) is our sister and is part of the Sanctis (our community). Vira Taryk and her security buddies leaves us alone later. We shortly head later to see Kalla and begin the RP. Maddox Lewis was kind enough for us to see his ID so that we may use our ID to scan it and get additional access. Kalla later closes the blast doors on us, then we wailed over the public comms that we raised her and etc. Blast door later opens, and we were able to access thankfully to Maddox. We look around Research and Development with glee. We heard over Security Channel that Security is out to kill us now and our movements were being tracked. We continued our search for Kalla hopefully to increase RP and cower behind Kalla. By unfortunate mistake, we went to maintenance and met our demise. We become unable to go back out where we came from to avoid the Security. Vira Taryk points their ion rifle, did not simply say anything. We become frustrated over LOOC regarding Security being more trigger happy. We have done no actions to warrant this large escalation. We did not make any demands, we did not threat anyone. We just simply minded our own business walking on the station. In this case, Vira Taryk was the first to fire the shot at Guwan with an ion rifle. Obviously, the firefight happened. We retaliated. I knew from ICly and OOCly point of view that we wouldn't survive the firefight, I would blow the fuel tank that divided us from the Security. Guwan and Greywolf was already down when I fired the fuel tank which caused more casualties killing Lukas Yotin, Paget Power, and a nearby civilian. We become frustrated and questioned why we were attacked. Mind you, the station was on Code Green yet Security has their tactical equipments out. Altan Nemo (ForgottenTraveller) was watching from the Helmet Camera eyes. I managed to run away but got trapped in R&D transmission to Space, I knew I was going to die henceforth I called for extraction and informed him that everyone's dead. Not Megatron steps in and questions us in AOOC. I complied and provided him with logs on a whim on how everything escalated, we're promised justice and Not Megatron was supposedly on our 'side'. We wait for some quite of time for Not Megatron to investigate, then I shortly die. Not Megatron rules it as IC issue. I had a conversation with FT, Riqpley, and SuperiorForm to see if they were willingly to post and pour their information. They are willingly to because no justice was given. SuperiorForm wants to be revived but Not Megatron said it wouldn't be worth asking Alberyk. I knew that. To conclude this staff complaint, we would like a review of the case and to overturn the decision that Vira Taryk is in the wrong in moving the Security at us when Mercenary has not shown any hostility intent. Evidence/logs/etc: See: Reason for Complaint Additional remarks: We would like to say that Not Megatron is not at fault and kept us on page with whatever is happening. I would like to say that Not Megatron handled the case well with his manner. Under no case we are mad at the staffs in this. We only would like to reverse the decision.
  13. Then, the risk is worth the high reward? Believe me, I could simply waltz in with the Command ID.
  14. Don't we have this? I thought we're already ported from Bay12.
  15. I am totally against all the suggestions in this idea. If the antagonist succeeded in subverting the AI to the antagonist by pouring enough time and work on it, then the work should be rewarded to the antagonist. There is no absolutely need to cover anti-security because for all we know is that the AI Upload is a secured area surrounded by turrets, and we ICly don't know if there's an antagonist or a rebel scum in our manifest or out in the space (mercenary) coming to us. If we keep applying security measures, the antagonist will have a harder time to get things done and fail to meet the OOC player's fun because of ridiculous overapplied layers of security. If the antagonist or command wants to waltz into the AI Upload, let them be, maybe they're doing it for roleplay benefits or trying to be sneaky?
  16. I like this idea, if the mercenaries were to get the Nuclear Code, they have to be willingly to sacrifice almost the majority of their telecrystals because nuking the station is pretty much a big deal.
  17. OOC Note: This was faxed. It meets most prerequisite, contains enough information to be registered as Incident Report.
  18. No one responded? OH WELL, I shall respond. Superiorform is that kind of a person who will help you on the OOC side but keeps his character maintained on the IC side. I do remember the malfunction round that Superiorform reminded me to not just kill him off once he had found me in Research Outpost once I had trapped him by LOOCing me to "Please RP". I knew I was killing him slightly without RP, this one was on me, because he had found me, so I had roleplayed being tired of him and allowing him to leave and eventually die while trying to escape my rampant AI. This tells me that Superiorform values roleplay as much as I do when it comes to cases like this. I believe he has the capability to consider roleplay as a valued treasure as a moderator while keeping the OOC rules enforced.
  19. You logged on me when I needed you the most. You were my only Cyborg during Malfunctioning Round. You just logged because I make memes constantly. Outcome: I had troubles getting the gimmick started because you left. I don't know if you're sorry or not. Have fun in your next community.
  20. They do? Even suggestions and reports? Sonny. I'm no sellout.
  21. Is it just me or has people been less active on the forum? Usually we get about 20 posts a day. Now, I feel like we get 5-15 posts a day.
  22. I know people will try to brave the lung damage and continue whatever while putting their life on the line to risk to accomplish their goal. I would say neither nerf or a buff is needed.
