This took you no time at all to post. Time to practice my ERP skills if I want to win Aurora Eroticathon 2016.

My pre-existing likes so far: -Darker beers/lighter ales -White wine more so than red wine, but red can be pretty good -Vodka that isn't Vladimir (nor others where you can get 2 litres for less than ten bucks) -Whiskey, for the flask One my friends drinks so much rum, he starts faking a pirate accent, no lie. But I usually find when drinking rum that I prefer rum and coke... with a heavily lopsided amount of coke. Though I tried rum with milk once and the combination was actually great.

Well... the wording is a bit precise, what should be my first legal drink to purchase? I've certainly drank before but mostly beer and vodka. I'm mostly searching for something new to try since I can now browse finer wares. However I did make it to 18 without smoking even once, so there's that.

I'm now 21 years old and able to buy alcohol in glorious USA. What should be my first (legal) drink to purchase?

You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?

Well, I really like the idea so long as there's a qualifier that it isn't the most reliable, so that Xenoarchaeology is still an elite and respected field. I think it could do with taking up more than just 50 units of plasma though since one sheet is 2000 units and super caps are extremely cheap to make. Sometimes miners drop off upwards of 100 sheets of the stuff. So, I really like it but I think the resource consumption of it should be jacked up a bit.

Real talk here, would this count as neglect of duty? Can testing on assistants be the new SOP for science? From what I understand, the big problem with genetics testing is that protohumans can't tell you how they feel, but if you could test on assistants then they can tell you. Also I want to test the effects of laser cannons on undergraduate researchers.

I don't think it is very fair to say that this would exist to award people solely for not being shit. Most people roleplay average at best, and therefore not shit. Every once in awhile you have people who roleplay poorly and warrant complaints, and yet no praise for a good day's work when someone performs roleplay above average. All though yes, this was a very verbosely written suggestion. All though, with all of that said, I think praise for good roleplay could possibly turn out to be more rare and less trafficked than complaints for bad roleplay, so making a forum for it might make an underused area of the site. Maybe we could just make a general forum for feedbacks and ratings where people could praise/criticize each other without calling for executive action to be taken against their fellow players. Or maybe just what's already been suggested, making individual threads to praise people on the general forum. I actually like the idea of a megathread since I also think it would be hard to have conversations beyond the first couple of posts.

Is LiLITH going to become the next Dr. Mengele except for people who breach corporate regulations? "You failed to fill out forms to build a mech. Now... Into the DNA scanned with you."

Where's my Axis and Allies? I've never screamed so hard at my friends as I did when doing an all night Axis and Allies game. Also: Pandemic, mash-up, Ticket to ride, (I've actually shaken the hand of the creator of summoner Wars at an event called Dencon while I was president of my high school games club), stratego, risk (obvi), Tsuro, cutthroat caverns, Ascension (my fave), other games I'm forgetting Cuz alcohol news years stuff. Edit: Shadows over Camelot

Pls don't leave you'll be really really missed.

Ever since my encounter with the aliens, there have been nonstop 5 second intervals on auto turns. The aliens can't defeat me militarily, so they're going to bore me to death. My laptop has been running for three days straight trying to power through it... But the aliens are forcing the game into a stall. There has been approximately 37,500 turns of literally nothing except letting five seconds pass. This is hell.

SPOILER WARNING: W&P AND ANNA KARENINA BYOND Key: Mofo1995 Player Byond Key: LevTolstoy Staff involved: Tsar Alexander II of Russia Reason for complaint: Mary Sue snowflake characters Approximate Date/Time: 1869, 1873-1877 So, Lev Tolstoy has inserted Mary Sue special snowflake characters into not just one but TWO of his characters. I'll get to them individually. 1. Levin I mean c'mon how could admins have let this slide? His name is even IN the character's name! Let's go over Levin's traits real quickly. He's humble, smart, strong, the flavor text was power emoted to describe him as attractive, all his SLAVES love him (like wtf), he's rich AND fiscally intelligent, and on top of it all he gets the beautiful young girl in the end. (There's at least a twenty year age difference here, okay? It's creepy.). I know a thing or two about Lev personally and I can tell you that the circumstances revolving around his marriage to his wife are eerily similar to Lev's marriage to Kitty, except with first night spousal rape omitted (very classy, Lev.) But let's dig deeper, I also know that Lev has been struggling with depression and so of course his perfect Mary Sue character, despite his amazing life, is all: "woe is me! Life is hell, and pain, and suffering!" I understand it's all right to write yourself into your characters a little bit but this is just too far, he's even had his character go through events (which I'll keep private so as not to attack Lev) that he's gone through. It's like he's trying to force this game into being all about him even though the title is very clearly Anna Karenina! 2. Pierre Coming Soon! Additional Comments: The Tsarmins are corrupt for letting this slide and should be overthrown.

[DENIED] Permanent Ban Appeal
Mofo1995 replied to MetaphysicalPersona's topic in Unban Requests Archive
The thing is, MetaphysicalPersona seems to want to play Seon and Seon only (Assuming that I didn't misread anything). If this is true It's partly my fault. Seon is my IC best friend and so I tried to convince meta to just change his back story for Seon so I could, selfishly, try to keep my character's best friend around. So, I apologize to Meta, if he just wanted to make a new character. I still have hopes this situation will get figured out for Seon to return somehow. She really was significantly more tame and law-abiding in the days leading up to the ban. -
Walter Brooks, Treat Hernandez, Moses Fitzgerald feedback

Is it possible for a roboticist to do this without nothing someone? I don't understand this sentence but a Roboticist can stick an MMI/organic brain inside an IPC chassis (or as I call them, Integrated Cybernetic Chassis/ICC) in-game rather then sticking organic brains in regular borgs. Nothing -> borging. What a strange autocorrect. So in other words, roboticists van make IPCs instead of borging a player? -

I didn't know. I'm not well-versed in IPC lore. Is it possible for a roboticist to do this without nothing someone? -

Dipheads I only really interacted with Moses Fitzgerald and I find him hilarious. I don't know about his professional capabilities but the things he says and do always leave me with a chuckle. As far as IPCs go, he's definitely got more personality than most of them, and he reminds me of that robot cop from Futurama. -
Is there anyway you could file complaints about these players (most specifically the one that tried to fight a nuke op)? This is terrible RP and the players themselves need taken care of in some capacity.

[DENIED] Permanent Ban Appeal
Mofo1995 replied to MetaphysicalPersona's topic in Unban Requests Archive
I don't mean to be intrusive, but surely she could be a lab assistant, right? Even 18 year old freshmen in college can be lab assistants under a principal investigator. All though, I suppose the key phrase there is "in college." -
That's pretty neat! I'm going to have to do that when I get my frigate group built so they can enjoy better maneuverability without being chained to my battlecruisers. On another more exciting note: I've made first contact with an alien race! And even better, they're NOT peaceful! They've belligerently attacked two geosurvey ships that happened into their system in Alpha Centauri, and now Battle Group Alpha (fresh out of their first overhaul in 40 years) has mobilized to war. Pros: Cons: They look kinda spooky too. EDIT: The schematics for my Kirovs (Not including the command variant, which adds a flag bridge and more CIWS.) Major Flaws:

I wish I could say more about Sybil, but I've only worked with Sybil two or three times. However, those two or three times were remarkable in that they were very intensive in paperwork and regulations. I had gotten a very strong impression that there wouldn't be any bullshit and that everyone would do their jobs and that's more or less what happened. Strict, but effective. I like Farreipshi Tup'Tesh, mostly because I think that the previously total lack of Skrell in science was nonsensical lore-wise. The toxins safety briefing which Tup'Tesh gave Fraser and Tony Smith was also highly memorable, the four rules and one suggestion. I think it was creative, and yet really helpful. All though, I believe Tony has (non-canonically?) gassed himself twice since then, so it might be needed again. But in general, I really appreciated that as RD, Tup'Tesh laid out all of his (her? I forget.) expectations plainly and clearly to all science staff in order to be as concise as possible and to avoid all misunderstanding. All of that said there was a lot of griping, but I think it's fun to roleplay griping about your boss sometimes.

Put the "Development" back in "Research and Development"
Mofo1995 replied to Killerhurtz's topic in Archive
As someone who works only in R&D and nowhere else what so ever, I feel as though this would really spice it up in a good way. It would make it so that R&D would really require some more hands on knowledge, making the occasional tresspasser or assistant completely unable to just nonchalantly walk up and print something against my will. I've always hated how I had to do all the research to print out a laser cannon, and yet any random person breaking into my lab could just walk up and print one out with literally no effort. Plus it adds tons of variety for every shift, since as it stands I can knock out all the non-mining related research in about 20 minutes if the roboticist is halfway competent, and have nothing to do for the rest of the round. Maybe it's because I'm a masochist for grindy gameplay elements, but I really like the idea of adding in extra steps to do things to make it feel more like I'm actually doing it. Generally, I like the idea of things taking more time to do, so long as it is believably justified. -
I've essentially got an (Embellished) AAR of my game so far. At some point later in the game I added in the United States and the United Kingdom, but the US didn't play nice and thought they could take me on. Russia stronk. I need to work on the first entry though, because originally it was supposed to be a memorial to everyone who received "The Order of Putin 1st Grade," but got modified to be a brief history of the Governor's of Terra (Which is what I named my Sector Command). The formatting is a bit janky since I was keeping it in a txt file. EDIT: I added two NPRs. Two alium empires are somewhere out there in the stars waiting to be found.

It brings a lot of memroies. Just slightly more than the sound of Andre of Astora hammering metal in the basement.
