See on the actual server, people seem to think Bound obey EVERYONE. I agree with how you said it, they obey their direct supervisors, and anyone of higher rank then their supervisors. So... Miner - Captain>HoP>Quartermaster Security officer - Captain>HoS>Fellow Officers (Someone tried to tell me if a crewmember was arrested and told them to let them go, bound would have to obey)

Do you accept cookies as payment?

I would totes hire you on the spot. Unfortunately Labour laws won't let me hire a 14 year old

The idea of a flexible engine room in my opinion would be best. Give them a storage room with all the equipment to setup the engine of their choice, but make them have to go to cargo for the last piece. It would allow the engineers who like the SM to keep using it on shifts. I've always preferred the SM engine because unlike the Singularity, once you set it up, you don't just leave it. You can optimize it to get more power, or create an unstable mix that would allow you to get some extreme amounts of power, but would require you to monitor it.

Greetings subhumans. I still don't have access.

There is plenty of time. I can physically hop on tonight and show you how easy it is if you'd like.

It's the IAA's job to ensure all of the stations assets are accounted for. And are tracked.

I believe Cognite is Pootis.

Wtf are do you mean "why are are they given an opportunity"? How the hell else are you supposed to move them from pen to pen? Guess what? I used your little monkey-vision idea...and they STILL went after me. I wrestled the slime off the monkey long enough to get it into a new pen, and the second we were in the chute? BAM! Hit me like a sack of bricks. They Myth that they'll go after monkeys first and only when they can see one is just that: a friggn' myth. That monkey was in line of sight the entire time, even when in the second chute. It's not a myth. I pull it off successfully each shift. You just have to break line of sight with yourself. Let one slime out to immediately attach to the monkey, drag it into it's new cell. Slimes aren't /that/ difficult, you just have to ensure you're not their target. If you are, close the shutter for a second, and reset their vision.

I believe I was her actual target, she was fairly insistent on showing /ME/ the storage room.

So, Nicholas Crixus is my dedicated IAA. He hasn't spent much time aboard the NSS Exodus/Aurora so far, but right now I'm intending for him to develop as a character through my interactions with others. Right now he's still set in his old lawyer ways, so he'll be very quick to try to figure out the culprit during breaches of regulations (Such as a specific xenobiologist turning himself into a humanized slime), and isn't too into physical conflict (I will still rush into fights because I like to watch). My intended goal for Nicholas is for him to develop more into a Bureaucrat who ensures the companies assets are being used in logical, and meaningful ways. Thoughts, opinions on any interactions you've had with him?

Let me add to this, I just finished a round as IAA with Clement Beach, and due to the happenings of the server on this particular shift I couldn't run my soon to be monthly audit on the department with Clement Beach being the HoS. But honestly, Clement Beach seemed to understand that the Internal Affairs Agent isn't there simply to be annoying, but to ensure everyones asses are covered. They communicated with me in a timely manner, and displayed themselves as a commander should (Minus the whole bullet to the head thing, but hey, you didn't have much control over that) with a strong grasp over your department. I don't really have anything bad to say about my interactions with you as IAA.

Reporting Personnel: Nicholas Crixus Rank of Reporting Personnel: Internal Affairs Agent Personnel Involved: Richard Steele - Atmospheric Technician, Aquila Time of Incident: 7:53 PM (March 18, 2458) Real time: 1:50 AM (UTC -7:00) March 18, 2016 Location of Incident: NSS Exodus, Engineering department Nature of Incident: [X]Workplace Hazard [X]Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property [X]Neglect of Duty []Harassment []Assault [X]Misconduct []Other _____ (Place an x in the box that applies. If other, replace line and specify.) Overview of the Incident: During the shift there was apparently a toxins leak within the engineering department. Atmospheric Technician Richard Steele was on the case. So I came by tech storage about ten minutes after the initial accident occurred, and I saw the atmospheric technician standing in the engineering foyer in his hardsuit, with absolutely no indication that the area might be unsafe. While I'm standing right outside tech storage I decide to quickly ask the technician a question only to get blasted with the toxins that are lingering in the air. While I'm running to medical I hear that the atmospheric technician decided it would be a good idea to vent the area. And upon asking him about it through PDA later into the shift (At this point around an hour and ten minutes in) I get no response. Eventually I see the technician sitting in the bar still in his hardsuit enjoying some drinks. Much later into the shift during a crew transfer the Chief Engineer Aquila arrives, and immediately asks why his department had been vented. I gave him what vague information I had, and he and I both agreed that an investigation should be opened. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?: Aquila, Chief Engineer IPC Additional notes: This case has been opened due to request from Aquila, the Chief Engineer during this shift.

Why are they being given an opportunity to glomp you? Use a single monkey to separate them. When you're going to kill them keep a monkey in the slimes cone of vision.

If we're going to implement more ATM's we really need to add persistence to the ATM. Perhaps every shift you participate in you get a certain amount of credits added to your corporate bank account.

I was taking a look over the medical hallway, and it kinda bugs me. The hallway needs to be one block wider, and needs to be consistently 3 blocks wide. Medical can be incredibly crammed, and giving a little more room, would elevate the issue. And is there a reason toxins research does not having a cooler?

Actually that would be a great idea. Teleport a random rare creature in for us to poke and prod. I'd love to find a way to extract a brain from the gold slime mobs, but I'm fairly certain they don't have extractable brains. No, slimes don't have brains. I have been wanting to experiment with the blood reactive slime cores though, by inserting them into test subjects to see what happens. Sadly, every round I've played Xeno and asked for the equipment for surgery, either it was never given to me, or I got tile-stomped by the slimes before it arrived. I said the gold slime mobs. Not gold slimes.

I think the Syndicate Operators are people with like minded visions about how the system should be. Basically if you feel a certain way about the government and NanoTrasen, you'll be able to become a for hire Syndicate operative through the transmissions. Now Id like to think the actual Syndicate system is based upon groups, and companies rather then some massive conglomerate. Say you're a small time researcher working with a group of 7 or so agents, you'd have financial backing by someone and act as a small guerilla team for the company so you can stay in business, but on the side you pickup contracts to make even more money.
-
I believe IC it's open to all Syndicate operatives. OOC anyone can access it.

Protect you from the cult? You guys made it very clear that you sided with them without physically joining on the rune. Excuse me for being confused, but you guys claimed to have robbed the armory with a cultist.

Suicide verb also only works if you're an antagonist, otherwise it just pings admins that you tried to use it. People just attacking themselves until suicide is what I'm talking about.

As long as visitors don't get maintenance access. Sure. I play one of my characters as a visitor because of the lack of access, and to force me to RP if I want to get somewhere.

Sometimes you need to break a few windows though. Gotta break a few windows in order to succeed in life.

I think that's my major complaint with the loyalty implant system. The captain with the implant would not give up hold of the station to antagonists even if they had the entire crew captive, because that would involve them breaking the purpose of the implant. It just means the implant prevents the captain from giving up anything if it meant his safety.

Or on lifeweb for example, page up and down can be used to pan between z-levels.
