if we have a problem with some hair-styles being ridiculous, we should just remove them. adding a mechanic which only really serves to make fun of people using these hairstyles ain't it, chief.

the PR adds the ability to literally rip off someones entire FLB like it's a wig with the most powerful yoink of all time. it adds a 5% chance to instant-aggressive grab someone with long hair. grabbing at someone's hair is (unless I missed something in the PR) objectively better than grabbing them normally.

why does the 'waxed' hair count as sorta safe? it's got less hair than shaved or buzzcut.

i'm all for adding a larger variety of combat mechanics - especially those which enhance flavour (and stuff like gouging eyes/pulling hair/etc. are SUPER COOL), but this isn't the way to go about them.

also, you shouldn't even have a 1% chance to grab someone with a buzzcut/shaved scalp by the hair. let alone a 3% chance to  give a brother the quickest shave of all time and turn him into a krillin knockoff during a bar brawl after he insulted Skrell Cart Racing for the umpteenth time

Having the ability to rip out all of someone's hair is a bit ridiculous, doubly so if it's probability based.

I'm not really a fan of adding more chance mechanics of this nature, I'm not sure how you would implement it otherwise though.

As of now I would not like to see this PR merged.

Ah yes finally, the ERP mechanics are being added.

I think it would be an interesting addition, though, ripping hair out may not be a good thing, Perhaps instead of removing the hair, it just gives some pain/hallos damage.

To address this line by line:

1. In the perfect world, with this mechanic all hair should be pull-able. I left the vote open to get feedback

2. Ripping hair was moreso testing a concept

3. Those lists are irrlevent for now and are just serving as a reference for the time being for a general idea. Waxed being in there was a error and will be fixed

4. If you change your hair mid combat for a advantage, thats abusing mechanics and is punishable as

That feature is being removed, fret not

As suggested in private.

I would recommend making this a boolean matter, and just another wrestling move. Introducing a length variable may make this overly complex in a space where such complexity cannot be achieved. This is to say, without making having a FLB a death sentence.
