are there sprites for departmental sec?

No. There's absolutely no way I would allow my work to be included in something actively designed to harm my enjoyment of the game.

Do you understand that Aurorastation is an open source project, and that your sprites, if included, may be edited to become departmental security uniforms?

Except that makes very little sense, as armbands would do that job of distinguishing them from one another. Departmental security has been stuck in limbo for over a month, so I wouldn't consider it really relevant at all.

If included. They won't be included if Departmental Security is pushed. And I'm not about to help that push by designing Department specific uniforms and equipment. And what Schev said. We already have Departmental Armbands and someone else made Dep Sec armor.

The new labcoat is a little crap atm, so a resprite with a new forensics variant would be killer

There's a new labcoat?

Looks good. I like the darker designs on the corp uniforms, and I’m happy to see the return of the trenchcoat

out of curiosity do you think you could make Vaurca specific Sec Glasses so we don’t look like nerds?

Actually, good idea. Same with IPCs. You both need your own 'eye' wear.

I've changed my mind, I don't support this in the slightest bit.

Misdirection and underhanded development work on part of the spriter, using a 'resprite' as an excuse to remove a great deal of customization.

Actually, minor addendum: I prefer the current look of the Security 'departmental jacket' for it's poofiness. That's it.

This is the dept jacket. The Warden and HoS' jackets match the pants perfectly, but none of their stuff has as much crap on it now. It makes little sense for them to be dressing like they're on parade.

I disagree, but I hope by department jacket that you mean it's an alternative for this jacket (attached image 53) and not a replacement for this jacket (attached image 54)

Since it doesn't readily show the filename, 53 is the above image, 54 is the below image.

It's undecided. Though, I am not very big on the fancifuls stuck on the navy jacket. It's a bit too formal for wearing to work every single day.

I quite like it, as it gives an alternative option that offers a professional feeling. I'd prefer to not see it removed in the end (and would certainly go to lengths to have it added back if it were).

Professionalism doesn't equate to formality. I was thinking that it be kept, but only be an event item, or orderable from cargo, since it's a formal attire piece, rather than standard shift wear. Hence why I replaced it with slightly darker jackets without the frills. Anyways, Ferner and I aren't touching the jackets for the time being as I'm pre-occupied with other projects and I don't consider dept jackets or sec jackets to be a priority right now. So, you can rest for now.

Should the idea be revisited in the future, if you replace/remove it then I will make a strong point of seeing it re-added myself. I don't care for anything that removes customization options wholesale.
