How long have you been playing on Aurora?:

Quarter half a year?

Why do you wish to be on the whitelist?:
To play command and make some new characters, diversify my RP.

Why did you come to Aurora?:

Aurora is to me the most playable SS13 server, without me stumbling onto this HRP world I probably would have never touched this game at all after one try. I like the written lore, the community and of course the station and its inhabitants.

Have you read the Aurora wiki on the head roles and qualifications you plan on playing?:

Yes I have! I always stop by the wiki to read up on everything, because I have way too much time on my hands.

Have you received any administrative actions? And how serious were they?

My most significant admin bonks were one warning where I messed up as a ling – the other I had mercilessly initiated a gank against a merc team. In which I had both taken into mind and learn from them.

Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph each.

I do not think my answers will change much here.

Give a definition of what you think roleplay is, and should be about:

Roleplay is where we created a setting, its world and all the characters, and place ourselves in it to play different roles and people, what it should be about is a form of recreation, a group effort to make sure we all have an enjoyable time in this world we play in.

What do you think the OOC purpose of a Head of Staff is, ingame?:

Head of Staff act as helper roles and guides for new players, they are also a factor when driving the narrative if antags are involved – they manage and oversee everyone and most of the time help initiate RP for all, In game, it is a corporate facility, managers and supervisors will be appointed to each department like any other corporate environment. Lead the team, make sure everyone gets along(and laugh as they try to), get Sh/t done.

What do you think the OOC responsibilities of Whitelisted players are to other players, and how would you strive to uphold them?:

Play your role well, and be the good player that helps out, whether new or experienced. Its always more enjoyable when players get along OOCly. I always enjoy helping to teach in game mechanics, and help people, and its essentially the responsibility of a whitelisted command player, to help their department. – which was the main reason the first time I applied and its still is now.

Could you give us the gist of what is currently happening in Tau ceti and how it affected your character and their career?

As time goes by within this quiet but yet very misfortunate station, there had been SLF attacks, Jargon Federation Tup commando’s attacking the station in search of a rogue skrell – a literal battle between Adhomai factions over a crash landed weapons depot shuttle that happened in the middle of the station – Tau Ceti is a place full of change and events. That are at times hard to keep up with, My characters are not too involved yet, as they hear about their posting within Tau Ceti space and especially the Aurora, they will remain cautious due to almost anything that can happen on the station.

What roles do you plan on playing after the application is accepted?

I had thought of captain and Liaison, but I believe I’ll acquaint myself with HoP and liaison, then taking on HoS.

Characters you intend to use for command or have created for command. Include the job they will be taking.:

- Amelia Vladislavna : Zavodskoi Liaison – even the most dead end of stations hold the most opportunity to spread Zavodskoi’s influence, all the while helping  to better her company’s reputation.

- Melya Mochaccino : A Head of Personnel with a peculiar family name,  the poster lady of HR.

- Seitaro Takeda : Head of Security – a very tactless one. he heard of the Aurora, and wont bend the knee to whatever shenanigans it throws at him.

How would you rate your own roleplaying?:

Good enough – I try hard to play different and unique characters, but I am sure they bleed onto each other often – but I’m still developing. Maybe, if we are going by a numeric rating I guess… 6/10? Maybe 7, or is that being too generous.

Do you understand your whitelist is not permanent, and may be stripped following continuous administrative action?

Yes.

Have you familiarize yourself with the wiki pages for the command roles?

Yes.

Extra notes:

“So... what do you think? we are being transferred to Aurora?”

“Mhm, I don’t care, same people different facility – All bullshit, but good pay.”

"OK, commander..."

"OK, Miss Manager."

I didn't even need to read the whole app (I did though) to know that you're qualified for this. I've seen you in stressful situations as ZISU, and I can always rely on you as a good officer for rounds. You always roleplay well, and I've seen you stay very calm in situations where I'm internally dying. A definite plus one. Brett is also a joy to roleplay with. I've even recruited them a number of times for security matters if we're low on security.

+1 all the way

Also, out of interest, What happened in your first command whitelist?

Asked a question I thought of just as I posted

Gillian is a skilled roleplayer with a diverse cast of characters and a decent knowledge of game mechanics, especially in regards to security and robotics. They're fun to play with and always offer something interesting to whomever they are roleplaying with.

It is a confident +1 from me.

Gillian was HoP Melya Mochachino for a cult round that finished just a few minutes ago. I interacted with her only a bit, but I appreciated her banter on the command channel and she tried her best to manage cargo. I felt like it rounded out the crew of heads really well. She helped show me how I screwed up my fountain pen. Anyway, wouldn't regret playing with her again on a round that gave her more to do. +1 so far.

I'll keep it very simple.

Game ID: b7K-aqjb A very good roleplayer. Makes good and wise decisions. I often appreciate @Daemon roleplay skills and willingness to be involved and to do something. @Daemon's character Melya was an outstanding Head of Personnel. People appreciated her paperwork. Becomes involved in conversation, took their time to hear out both parties and before making a big decision impacting a character negatively.

Still did some good liason RP with my char, seems to know what's up. Answered my very few questions well enough to give me (a brainlet who doesn't know much about the contractor groups) some information on them as well as an understanding for their identity. That was neat.
