Nehma Ga'dan is actually gay and married to a Chief Engineer from another system.

Crystal Brookes actually got her start in medicine as a chemist, studying chemistry as an extension of bartending, her first Nanotrasen job. She went on to write a book about medicine and a book about surgery.

Stephanos Remes came into existence because of the lack of legitimately friendly, pleasant heads of staff. He's inspired by Braum from League of Legends, in many ways. He's a defector from Russian controlled space.

Vortivask's birth name is Chef Vortivask, but Nanotrasen forced him to change it due to potential confusion if he were to work in other civilian positions. As protest, he changes his name as frequently as legally possible. Most recently his name was Oregano Vortivask. OOCly he was originally conceived as a surly Unathi chef who refused to cook anything without meat in it, on another server.

Artie Dilligence was never meant to exist on the station. His name was Art I Dilligence, a pun on Artificial Intelligence. I made him specifically for starting rounds as a borg or AI. I was forced to RP him when all those were taken. On the spot, I came up with the story of him being a victim of medical experiments using inferior artificial parts. It led to some intense, emotional RP, so I kept with it. Though because every round, just about, ends with him as a cyborg, I can't keep canon.

June Sonnberg...

...serves as a Chief Surgeon for a NanoTrasen intensive care unit when not deployed aboard the NSS Aurora. She has been serving in that specific position for the past 2 years. She has a new Deputy Chief, someone older than him, who was assigned a few months back.

...lives in a relatively modest setting, despite being relatively well off. Supposedly, some people simply enjoy a small, comfortable two room apartment.

...has uncanonically taken one life. Namely, a scientist's who had shot Samantha Mason in the head a number of times.

...used to date an atmospherics technician, but canon wise, this was many years ago. Beyond this, has lived a rather calm life, in that respect.

Yulianna Fyodorov...

...may have a grammatically incorrect surname, I need to check the naming conventions and figure out a proper patronymic whenever I get time.

...enjoys her work in atmopsherics rather greatly, so much so that she regularly invests money into proper gloves and tools, as the ones NanoTrasen provides, in her opinion, are not the finest. Nor the most comfortable to use.

...spent some years focusing on computer software development, in an unofficial manner. What does this mean? Simply put: she likes to tangle with code, and is actively looking for a chance to get onto a program that'll permit her to touch NTSL.

...has a love for home cooked meals. Mostly the ones made by her mother.

...acts rather humane towards most individuals, regardless of race, as long as they "respect life." However, he does carry a certain despise of Unathi that were brought up outside of the clans.

...has studied surgical proceedings, among other things, and is quite adept at setting broken and fractured bones. A set of skills learned while he was raised with his clan.

...used to work in a clinic in a slum on Biesel. As he admits, he was kept on duty for two reasons: to help the other doctors, and to scare away anyone wishing harm upon the patients and staff.

...is quite familiar with herbal medicine, having learned it from the previous generation of doctors that were in his clan.

...is an experimental character I played only for a week. They still exist as a save, and I am not certain what to do with them.

...Was a womanizing, confrontational, hostile, and possessive meat-headed adrenaline junkie in his earlier youth.

...At times feels the almost overpowering urge to inflict self-harm, specifically targeted at his arms. Despite the passage of time since his cloning, he still hasn't gotten used to having his arms again, and they feel unnatural to him. He hasn't yet inflicted any harm on his arms.

...Is sterile. Repeated genetic damage to the groin from slimes eventually yielded this.

...Knows Gutter, but he's ashamed to speak it. It makes him feel lesser in comparison to those who speak the more elegant Tradeband or know the more useful Sign language.

...Does not know Sol Common. He was never actually exposed to it, and thus just nods along as other people speak it.

He's learned to suppress it just a bit, but he often pushes away others and tries to avoid hugs. Doing so often results in a brief moment of paralysis in Clove.

...Is far-sighted, and has an unreasonably hard time seeing what's right in front of him without his glasses.

...Desperately wanted to be a cartographer when he was a kid. He still does, and often makes amateur star maps for fun. He'd get into it if it weren't for the fact he needed to mine in order to support himself and his family.

...Takes his work so seriously despite the fact he's just a miner because he genuinely believes that with enough time and rocks picked, he can get his brother and himself set for life so they'll never have to break another rock in their lives.
