  4. Forgive me for taking so long to notice this complaint and the incidents it was based around. For clarity's sake, I'll mention that one of these situations has actually already become the subject of one of the CCIA Incident Reports. Since there appears to be some uncertainty as to whether this should remain an OOC issue or be turned over to us, I'll speak with our admin liaison later this evening and try to get this worked out. We don't tend to double down on action IC and OOC, so one will most likely need to be turned over.
  5. Something similar to what I'm referring to has already been implemented in some other servers as it turns out, I believe this is /tg/ code? Pulled from FTLstation but I'm not familiar with their base. Full health displayed as so: http://i.imgur.com/5HIbIP2.png With a damaged leg changing the appearance of the doll and effecting the general health indicator: http://i.imgur.com/rUOafhM.png For reference, the issue raised by alberyk was the Bay system's lack of a general health indicator which can (not) be seen here: http://i.imgur.com/dBc43DG.png Obviously our system could be modified as needed to best suit our needs, but something of this nature is what I was referring to. At the end of the day though, I'm not a coder, so if this is too much work for too little payoff then so be it. It's really just a convenience thing that I'd like to see added.
  6. Would there be a way to keep the benefits of our current system while implementing some of theirs? Such as a locational damage indicator like Bay's and a bar below it to indicate general health. You wouldn't be missing on the info our current system provides but would still have a better indicator of where you were taking damage.
  7. Often in the heat of things you can have no idea what kind of damage you're actually taking. Chat is a spam during a fight and a lot of the time the only way you'll know a hand has been broken is when you suddenly can't pick things up anymore. Ideally, you'd be able to feel the pain locally to wherever you were hit, but since this is spessmen your only knowledge comes from using examine on yourself. There's even been times where I've had a hand cut off and didn't even realize it for a good few minutes. Changing the health display to show localized damage would make recognizing what damage you're taking much more convenient.
  8. Synn is incredibly dedicated and hard working when it comes to their CCIA duties, pretty much one of the best we have on the team. Synn's ethic is as such that I'm confident they would work just as well no matter what division of staff they ended up in. Outside of the wiki based experience already listed, - and something UM already stated god damnit i hate you - Synn previously took it upon themself to conduct a complete overview of the CCIA Notices and re-wrote them in order to clear numerous errors in the writing and to unify their presentation. Probably one of the best applicants you could hope for tbh. Has my full support for making the wiki great again. +1 there i didnt use gendered pronouns are you happy you androgynous devil
  9. To be fair, I'm pretty sure NT would just say "Ok, no job for you, then. Next!" NT doesn't really have an Unathi Affirmative Action thing set up. They don't need to hire the lizards, it's just cheaper and more effective than humans. They won't fire you for it, you just get fined out the ass and you won't get any preferential treatment if you refuse to sign it. It is optional, just in NT's own fucked up way.
  10. My apologies for the late change of pace, after learning that this incident had taken place aboard the NSS Aurora II rather than the NSS Exodus, we have chosen to close this report. Until the official map change, all rounds on the Aurora II are to be considered non-canon and the CCIA will not be accepting IRs originating from these rounds. As always, if you believe the action reported here to be severe enough to warrant it, you may file a character/player complaint here: https://forums.aurorastation.org/viewforum.php?f=35
