Hokay! Looks like you check out fren. Just remember, contact staff immediately if you randomly disconnect or have a blackout or something something that kills your byond ded, as the ban will just be reapplied!
-
Hokay, since this ban is ancient, Im gonna go ahead and unban you. Welcome back, read da r00lz and enjoy your stay! ?

Since you're not interested in playing here, appeal denied.

Absolute savages! I guess food prep is just extra steps before it reaching your mouth! Eat it all raw! But in all seriousness, I like this suggestion. And I dont see how this is mechanically locking anyone to anything. Either pour and drink from the cup, or drink directly from the thermos, should be all the same! Not that open container drinks matter anyway as they cannot spill (I think still?)

Handcuffs Require An Aggressive Grab
Pratepresidenten replied to Snakebittenn's topic in Completed Projects
To bring up the memetic argument of "muh realism" I like this suggestion as it makes sense, I dont think anyone in the history of ever has had cuffs slapped on them, compliant or otherwise without the detainer putting a hand on the detainee's forearm for stability. Even a passive grab would work for this change. Maybe grab requirement could be based on intent of the to-be cuffed person? Help ---> Passive grab Grab/Disarm ---> Aggressive grab Harm ---> Neckgrab -
Why woudnt this be a thing? I actively avoid stepping in vomit because MEGAGROSS

Logically you'd be invisible to AIs only, but it would be real interesting if you could make it work for borgs aswell!
-
ic ic, so it follows the logic of AI vs cult runes. Shits just invisible. I can dig it. Alternately, put it into the ID card as a separate toggle (Or combine it with the ewarfare already there) Or were you thinking of... A different type of thing, like a clip-on accessory/jacket?
-
Doesnt the syndicate ID come with a toggleable electrowarfare thing?

Implement Clear Code Delta guidelines for AI
Pratepresidenten replied to sonicgotnuked's topic in Rejected Policy
I can dig it apart from this lil section here. I actually had to ahelp when this happened to me for the first time, and this is essentially when I made up the omega directive. Captain level command voted decision or command voted Captain are not authorized for knowledge of the nuke. Rest is solid though! -
It is not petty, it is escalation of punishment. But I am currently investigating an issue. Ill get back to you shortly. If you can, please contact me on discord @OmenVI

We've had to deal with a plethora of people having the wrong ages, this system was put in place to prevent this, but it seems that intern roles has slipped past. Lab assistants can still do work almost all around science, by not going to cryo, you're effectively blocking the slot, preventing others from joining. All slots apart from assistant/visitor has a set limit. You didnt spesifically ask for help here, you talked about the bug and why it was a thing. A respawn was not offered and it was not asked. Getting in trouble with issues that are bugs or oocly problems should be addressed first if possible. You should have ahelped this immediately before sec could take you. They are available to see under the greeting screen, in bold letters. Youve likely just closed it down without checking like so many before you.

Okay, so as I see it, this is pretty much all on you. 1) The mechanical restriction on age is a relatively new system, but the wiki has always been up to date, so that is no excuse for joining as an underaged character. 2) You have six entries on the same issues, namely just noping out and disconnecting without using cryo. Four of these entries are bans. 3) You would have an indicator of what part of your behaviour was problematic if you actually bothered to check your new notifications, which would show you the relevant warning. You've had ample time to read the rules to know them better, and even more so chances to ahelp issues, like the fact your age was messed up. However, you are correct with sticking around for processing, so that bit of the ban reason is incorrect, and it will be adjusted accordingly. Now, as for this complaint, the ban is valid and your ban will not be adjusted. If you want to come back, you need to make an unban appeal. I will resolve and lock this in about 24 hours unless you have any further concerns.

Helo, I will do the do here. Lemme check out some facts and Ill get back to you!

Not really onboard with rechargeable emag, but a finite emag for use would be nice. Should probably be its own thing aswell, like... Brute force module.
-
I like this change as people should generally not be skulking maintenance, and I honestly dont see why this is such a massive issue. Are some of you really willing to face whitelist strips, jobbans and even server bans to protest this? You would throw away time and effort because you cannot wait for a moment while the AI/someone helps you out? What is the point of even playing here if rushing after an antag is more important than RP? What kind of toxic mindset is this. Honestly. Play to RP, not to win.

Implement Clear Code Delta guidelines for AI
Pratepresidenten replied to sonicgotnuked's topic in Rejected Policy
Ive bullshit up a term for delta long time ago for bounds that kinda stuck. "Omega Protocol" Directives regarding code Delta and the functions of the (in)active nuke. As I play this out as an AI on an non-Delta: Captain+ orders are absolute. Do as you're told. (Unless it violates your laws, duh) Do not speak of it or hint to the existence of the Omega Protocol to anyone. Do not speak of the Omega Protocol to authorized personnel (Captain+) unless asked directly. Deny any and all questions, hints or proof of the nuke, no matter how compelling they might be. A Captain level decision by command cannot override the Omega Protocol. In the event that the nuclear disk is stolen, ensure it is retrieved through any means necessary.* EVERYTHING IS FINE. THERE IS NO NEED FOR PANIC. *You should always task all command and security with recovering this without revealing what its for. You should also inform Central Command that it is infact stolen if the disk is not recovered quickly. You should also not violate your laws to get the disk back either. As I play this out as an AI on Delta: 1) Bridge, AI core and the command bunker goes into full lockdown, and all access to these ares are revoked. An announcement is made to inform the station of this. 2) Central Command is notified that the Omega Protocol is live, and all relevant information is conveyed. 3) Non-Captain+ head authority goes out the window in regards to bunker + bridge operations (And nuke). 4) A Captain level decision by command cannot override the Omega Protocol. 5) Evacuation can be called by any member of the crew, with priority to rank, without needing a confirmation. 6) All orders/requests that isnt from a Captain+ are optional. My primary function once everything is in place is to protect the nuke and its surrounding area from unauthorized personnel, while aiding with the stationwide evacuation should someone call for evac. As I play this as a borg: Most of them still apply, but if an AI is present, it deals with the lockdown, while the borg continues as normal. Should there not be an AI, the less useful borg will head to the bridge and lock it down and remain within the bridge until authorized personnel comes along to dictate orders, or until the nuke blows. As for closing points, I know that some of these violate the laws as a whole, like serving crew according to rank and role, but code Delta is an exceptionally rare occurance outside of malf, and NT would surely have overriding protocols for it. Hell, something good to put in would be an automatic lawchange should Delta occur as a non-malf as Delta "Doesnt really exist". -
Hello, your ckey doenst match any on record. Please check again or paste the banreason here.
-
Hello. As I said in the ban message, you can appeal this you've shown improvement in your cryogenic ventures. Ignorance isnt really a valid excuse here, as using cryo is stipulated in the rules. Anywho, you can re-appeal this in about a month. Appeal denied.
-
Hello my dude, I can unban you np, but this will be your last chance. You need to read the rules proper this time, as your next dumb rule violation will net you another perma, one you might not be able to appeal. Welcome back, and keep your nose clean >:c
