  1. More alt outfits of the female variety for both tbh.
  2. This here is essentially the main issue I had with the entire ordeal. As prior issues were that you do things without fully thinking it through, rushing into situations with zero intel, most likely getting yourself trashed in the process, and most of the times, you defy your pain either to fulfill a vendetta or in this case, to protect this person you had no heavy ties to. The basis of your argument was that antags arent canon, hence noone is evil, yet you assumed the officer was evil, and the RD was not, even when it was the other way around this time. So you set out to stop this "unlawful assault" in an attempt to defuse the situation, which only made it worse. As I told you over DMs and ahelps, you need to take a more passive stance and observe before passing judgement and interacting. Even to ahelp if you were uncertain if something was valid or not. You dont always have to play the hero and jump in face first on something you perceive as bad, as its very likely you bite you in the ass and be wrong altogether.
  3. I dont really want punching as a default, I want it as an option for when a time comes when I want to cause a blood-less injury. Besides, it makes sense for a clawed xeno to retaliate with sharp force if they're ambushed or caught off guard, instead of not using weak-ass punches. Punches would be the option to choose if you're getting into/instigating/getting instigated to fight someone over whatever have you shenanigans.
  4. This topic has been made twice already, and it kinda just fizzles out. You posted in one of them aswell @Scheveningen The main arguments were xenos cant punch as they cannot retract their claws, hence cant make a fist without injuring themselves. I for one would love an alternative so I can sock some fucker in the face without getting hit with an arterial spray and be brigged for attempted murder.
  5. Its a singular airlock (The first one is to engi equipment storage), and by unauthorized people, you mean engineers, right? As no access = Not authorized. And Im pretty sure if more light is shed on this particular subject, many a sec officers will start to grab engineers trying to fix shit and brig them with three fun charges of trespassing, theft and contraband. As for the point of combat militia department, spears and pikes are so much better and easily craftable. They have long range and they dont kill your allies by accident.
  6. Its usually the burly boys of enigneering that needs to pry open doors and blast doors, not the atmos techs. Ever since the dawn of time, the atmostechs has had monopoly on this axe. I say no more.
  7. Ive gone through some statistics here, and while its true that you've been good and not gotten in trouble, the limited amount of time you've put in playing hardly justifies this. So until you've put more time in and shown you can actually back up your goodboy claims, Im denying this appeal.
  8. Hello and hi, I will take this appeal. I will return with my verdict in a few hours. Places to be, stuff to check!
  9. I would support giving them the same perks as borgs (Being immune to knockdown through depressurization) as they should beeee... In the same weight class?
  10. Okay then. Welcome back, and dont blow your second chance. Appeal accepted.
  11. Hello hi, gonna make this quick since we've had an active conversation about this. In regards to your last entry, notes are a thing for the administration to be able to keep track of people misbehaving, being dumb and not reading the rules, and the terror of being contacted by staff should be deterrent enough. You're welcome to make a suggestion about making them available, but I can guarantee you it will not pass. Now onto your appeal: Not gonna lie, your note history is not pretty, and although I dont mind accepting this appeal, you need to understand that if you do dumb shit like this in the future and tunnelvision, you're very likely to be permad again. So when shit hits the fan, step away if you can, or ahelp before doing anything drastic. Should help you avoid these dumb choices. Can you do this?
  12. Hewwo, it is I, Pwate! So what I could find and resolve here was: This ticket shouldnt have taken more than 5-10 minutes tops. While there wasnt really any rulebreaks involved, namely being a dick, the CE's behaviour was way too dismissive in my opinion, thus kiling off any chance of roleplay. I told them to be more forthcoming and not dismiss people like that, and Im assuming Goret did too, as theyve said in PMs and to myself over msay. Goret did right by handing off their ticket seeing their frustration with the situation, but perhaps this could have happened a bit sooner? A thought for the future atleast.
  13. Kywes my kywes. After some deliberation, we have decided to accept this due to the following reasons: Pretty much. Application accepted!
  14. Locking and archiving!
  15. I dont really know dick about your code and whatever, but you've done great things, ESPECIALLY THE LOGIFIER. Fucking eyesaver. Good luck, and ily!
  16. Very nice! Digging this! Blood for the blood cult!
  17. I will agree to that their explosive reaction was very short sighted and poorly thought out. Absolutely trashing someone in the open for the snide remark is just asking to get caught and thrown in the brig. I was hoping something else would come of this, perhaps another traitor would make a big deal of it, or offer the victim a way to retaliate through illicit means. There's always a hope something good can come out of a poorly planned volatile action, but didnt seem this was the case at all here.
  18. But what about ductape? Would be cool for a quick-fix. And yknow, mad infection chance.
  19. This bit is mainly aimed at at non-antags, as antags have much more leeway and they can escalate a lot harder than allowed as a non-antag. The reason I deemed this as fine was because: 1) They were a traitor, 2) They didnt kill you. 3) You essentially taunted them with a childish "Make me" after they yelled at you to put the book back where it belonged. Antags are already scared enough to make a move in fear of being bwoinked without a 10 minute back and fourth with their target. And your attitude towards them made this encounter valid, even if your interaction was rather brief. And he wasnt exactly bashing you in a maintenace tunnel on the sublevel, so his capture would be relatively easy. So to summarize: You acted like a snooty brat, and you got your shit kicked in by a pissed off librarian.
  20. Hokay so! Looking into this case, it seems like there were several elements at play to make this situation exceptionally shitty. The main issue here is Butter's lack of knowledge in regards to how telecomms operates even after acknowledging how it was done by the borg in question that was responsible for it, and how holopads break when you hack them. With telecomms offline, the PDA servers follow suit, and Mira's muteness relied on these things for communications. There doesnt seem to be any malice to what happened, just a series of very unfortunate events. So as a resolution to this complaint, Im going to be have a quick chat with butter, staple a note on his account and call this a wrap. Going to lock and archive this in 24 hours unless there are other concerns.
  21. They rip a massive blade of flesh, tendons and bones out of their arm, this action alone should shred clothing and straight jackets to shit when used. Changelings can essentially turn into anything, so it wouldnt be far-fetched fo it to flash into some razor sharp bone horror or anything of the like to escape their clothy confines. Im pretty sure changelings were tweaked not to feel pain. Or maybe it was in the planning phase. All in all, changelings shouldnt be able to be contained by conventional means.
  22. I will handle this with @Lonely Caravan If you can provide your thoughts and findings @TrickingTrapster
  23. I cant say I agree with any of this. I talked about some of this over discord but I will post it here aswell. There comes a point where things are too easy and staff becomes superfluous. I understand the issue of lacking resources and monotony, but this isnt the right fix for it. Ive heard people brag about "Finishing R&D" in seven minutes and same thing for chemistry, and the engine. People absofuckinglutely rush these things and they kinda shaft it for others should there be the ones that wants to learn or do something. Its a roleplaying game, not a speedrun of who can do it the fastest. And now there are suggestions to make even more of this pre-set. To give an extreme example: If you truly want to have as much pre-set to prevent monotony and boredom, we could compress all of medical into a 3x3 room and have its staff cut down to one medical technician to fetch injured and operate the singular machine inside said room, namely the autodoc. Not like medical do anything but watch suit sensors and get bitched at, right? If anything, we should be giving the departments more shit to do. Not necessarily monotonous shit like dragging a ton of machines to the surface and set up every single round, but optional things. A slew of optional things you can incorporate into your shift, be it for teaching purposes or just plain fun.
  24. I mean, the brig has two solitary cells, and they're only used for the most heinous or troublesome criminals. I dont think one should be removed. But if you end up in solitary for punching someone in the face once, or if you were talked down in a volatile hostage without incident, ahelp that shit.
