  1. Did you just do this to me in 2015? Oh and since I probably need to contribute to the thread or something: Dace Morel:
  2. It's a good thing you already have two operating rooms, then. Hint hint, Genetics.
  3. It sets them on fire, fire is always fun. water/holywater name = "Holy Water" id = "holywater" description = "An ashen-obsidian-water mix, this solution will alter certain sections of the brain's rationality." color = "#E0E8EF" // rgb: 224, 232, 239 on_mob_life(var/mob/living/M as mob) if(ishuman(M)) if((M.mind in ticker.mode.cult) && prob(10)) M << "\blue A cooling sensation from inside you brings you an untold calmness." ticker.mode.remove_cultist(M.mind) for(var/mob/O in viewers(M, null)) O.show_message(text("\blue []'s eyes blink and become clearer.", M), 1) // So observers know it worked. if((M.mind in ticker.mode.vampires) && (M.mind.vampire) && (!(VAMP_FULL in M.mind.vampire.powers))) if(!M) M = holder.my_atom M.adjustFireLoss(6) M.adjust_fire_stacks(1) M.IgniteMob() //M.take_organ_damage(0, 1*REM) if(prob(20)) for(var/mob/O in viewers(M, null)) O.show_message(text("\red []'s skin sizzles and burns.", M), 1) holder.remove_reagent(src.id, 10 * REAGENTS_METABOLISM) //high metabolism to prevent extended uncult rolls. return
  4. This. If the big green lizards can wield them, with downsides according to their strength, a Hulk should be able to wield them with lesser downsides. The change being no brute damage to legs. One can only imagine how a lizard hulk would fare, as well. If we're going the 'traitor gear' aspect I might suggest you could also have some sort of 'true' exosuit/exoskeleton (Taking up the exosuit slot instead of acting like the mechs we have now, which balances it out by preventing most all travel through vacuum) that basically reinforces the limbs and strength and can be used by any species to wield them, whilst negating the brute damage and possibly some of the speed. Lets the lizards be the "ghetto-wielders" and allows something fancy for Telecrystal-using antagonists as a whole.
  5. Merry Christmas you pack of fucking fruits.
  6. Interesting enough. Don't really have much opinion beyond that since I've interacted with them in a grand total of one round.
  7. I was going to until you said this. Liiiiiies. Actually kind of competent HoS. 7.5/10 Bullshit. Every time I see them I half-confuse them for their sister or w/e. I haven't noticed much of them, which is odd considering I've spectated atleast two rounds with them. This can be taken as a good or bad thing. 6/10 I don't believe you're capable of being chill. Another one I half-confuse for Vira on slight occasion due to the similar surname. I've only seen them slightly more than above and can't really form any opinions from what I've seen, but again, that means no negative opinions either. 6/10 Mixing Gutter with Tradeband is how you get stabbed in Security the frontier. I've literally never seen them so there's no point in either smart-ass remarks or size=1 comments here. 5/10 irregardless. I feel like I've seen you play their Lifeweb variant moreso than the SS13 version. Probably seen them a total of once, so, 6/10. Contrary to popular belief and what I've seen during rounds, you don't need to be a mass murdering psychopathic lesbian who tries to sleep up half the department to work on a station. You don't even need to be especially, well, special. Filthy catbeast. I can't really say anything about miners, you never actually tend to see miners unless you play Cargo or Research. 7/10 anyways because they're not a snowflake cat who somehow managed to get into the Science Division. 8/10 concept, 9/10 execution, 4/10 antagonist please git gud and don't log next time. I disagree with this statement and would be willing to fight you over it. The question is, do they taste like Grape juice as well? 6.5/10 for having a relatively uncommon character concept going on. Can't otherwise say much, because, again, never seen them.
  8. brb learning to draw
  9. So basically how Mutiny does it? I can dig it.
  10. I want to see a return of these lads when the new map comes, and the Baycode merge means you can then pin your opponents in melee.
  11. Why are there no shovels or pickaxes...
  12. Played a rather good traitor on his Alexander Simmons character, left an interesting trail and generally made things quite fun for me to put together as a member of the investigation team. Was generally a good sport as a whole. I'm eager to see what he can do with command roles.
  13. I'd go for Experimental builds, Windows Console specifically. More features present, and far more stable than you would think. None of the bloat of Windows Graphical, either.
  14. Really though, these two are right and what I said wasn't just a smart-ass comment. It's a genuinely horrifying amount of hair and having to read about a woolly treasure trail could be equated to torture. I can't honestly tell if she's meant to look like Wolverine or a Wookiee.
  15. Needs to invest in an electric razor.
  16. The special zombie types aren't even that bad. Just get a bear trap or make some wooden spears and throw 'em at the specials. Best way if you're having trouble is to go find a working vehicle and just run 'em over.
  17. Keep moving, know where to break in, dance around the zombies, know what to keep on you. Having a solid melee weapon and melee skills helps. Good painkillers are God-tier, along with any sort of major stimulant.
  18. Brotherhood is shit, they want to kill my son who's just trying to make the world a better place and set up a real future for humanity. That's it's only redeeming factor, and it's off-set by the rest of it being absolute garbage. They're a pain in the ass, but they're my pain in the ass. Also, they can do this, eat shit Brotherhood.
  19. Why would I want three crappy factions alive when I can have one good faction and one crappy faction alive? (Institute and M&Ms, respectively)
  20. It was most likely a test (or maybe just a meme) to see who actually played the game.
  21. BYOND Key: GMR25 Character Names: Dace Morel, Alfred Preston, Konrad Carver Species you are applying to play: Integrated Positronic Chassis (IPC/Shell) What color do you plan on making your first alien character (Dionaea & IPCs exempt): Exemption applies. Have you read our lore section's page on this species?: Correct. Please provide well articulated answers to the following questions in a paragraph format. One paragraph minimum per question Why do you wish to play this specific race: IPCs offer a mechanically different foundation from which one can build roleplay upon. Extremely different from any other race in the game, it's an entirely new playstyle and a wealth of possibilities. I've never taken the opportunity before to play as anything other than a human, and I'd like to take a chance to try something else for the first time. Identify what makes role-playing this species different than role-playing a Human: A high level of variance in behaviour, depending on the origins of the synthetic, give wide variety from unit to unit as to how they react to a situation. This leaves the one feature they all share in common, their mechanical nature and the according strengths and weaknesses that accompany it. Overheating, a lack of breathing, weakness to EMP, resistance to physical trauma (pre-nerf), frailty in the limbs, lack of pain. For every weakness, a strength, something they must pay heed to that makes them different from any other species. Clients looking for Executive, Residential, or Asset Protection services can contact us for our Protective Services catalogue. What do you like about this character? For starters, it's a very simple concept to begin with and should make for appropriate practice before I try branching off into more complex characters. A line model bartending unit that OOCly provides a base concept for other 'models' in differing jobs, and ICly is just designed to get the job done and put a faux smile on during the act. It's particularly difficult to mess that up in practice. How would you rate your role-playing ability? 7/10. I've RPed over several mediums over the years, and I'm steadily working on adjusting and improving my abilities, taking into account past mistakes I've made and feedback from others, and working on those to better my roleplaying abilities. At the same time, I strive to put time into researching topics before I apply them to roleplay, whether it's history, arts, language, or what the standard employee record form might look like. Notes: Do you need to ask for these words, when I already know the answer? "metallic persimmons"
  22. Make it take an uninterrupted period of like a minute or two for that. Akin to resisting cuffs.
