I'd love to play at least one of the Jawdats. Maybe more than one if allowed and feel inspired to make another. I'll do a write-up for the character soon as I can and send it to you for review. This idea is really cool.

I think a lot of those are stuff that you'd find just about anyone saying. Most of it isn't really all that crazy. That said, that many and the fact that they don't stop when told to can it seems worthy of action.

I don't think we need to gimp features to make up for bad roleplay. I think it should just be handled correctly IC. 1. Geneticists should not be injecting themselves with powers without proper paperwork and approval from the RD and/or CMO. This is not Marvel Comics. You don't test on yourself. 2. These powers should not be abused. I'm so goddamn sick of every geneticist who finds the Hulk gene turning into a grief machine.

Genetics is already tedious and awful enough. And there's already a chance that hulk causes you to break limbs when you transform or detransform

Or at least make it so if you give them a base job, then modify name or access, it keeps their department.

You can still drink at the bar even if it's not open, just bring in outside drinks. That makes sense. Not so much the kitchen, I agree.

I would +1 this on the condition you keep Dandy away from any head position. I noticed that as much as I cannot stand Dandy as a character, I've had no problem with any of your other characters and quite like most of them.

I think it would be a nice idea. Food allergies are cool, pet allergies would probably require some tricky coding, and should just be handled via RP. but we have to be careful not to include allergies to medicines for which there are no alternatives. While it'd still be up to the player to fuck themselves over by making a character allergic to dylovene or alkysine, it'd probably be better to just not include that option. Spaceacillin would be a bad idea, as well, since it's so key in an outbreak situation. Medicines that should be Allergy options: Bicaridine, Dermaline, Kelotane, Arithrazine, Hyronalin, Dexalin, Dexalin Plus, Tramadol, Oxycodone, Paracetemol, Plasma derived medicines in general could be a fun one, Ethylredoxazine, Hyperzine, Imidazoline, Leporazine, Peridaxon Tricordrazine, Cryoxadone, Clonexadone (But not both!), Methylphenidate, Citalopram, Paroxetine.

Well I feel like there's a bit of a grey area going on. I feel like the 'character complaint' is OOC, which I don't want, because Nursie's great and I don't want to attack her. I don't think Phoebe is a bad character. I just think she'd be fired or disciplined by now. But I don't have a separate incident report to file. And I think that'll be the case often with others in the future. They have witness statements or other things to add to the report but don't have their own incidents to worry about.

Raised by Tajaran after the death of his biological parents, and has picked up their speech mannerisms. Chef Vortivask - Surly, stupid chef and botanist. Becomes a laid back hippie when he acquires rainbow clothes. Stephanos Remes- Extremely friendly Head of Personnel, who often works as a chef and botanist in his spare time. Generally seems untrustworthy but is actually rather good at the various jobs he's been seen doing. Is there more than one guy with this name?

If this is the case, that's REALLY awful. Especially from someone who rails against nonseriousness ruining RP at the drop of a hat. But really if ANYONE did this, it'd be ridiculous. Lets not be that kind of server, where event means staff = magnifying glass and player = ants

I really like this idea, since it's pretty in line with one I floated not long ago in the IAA thread. I wouldn't personally apply to be in this position, presently because I think I can be a bit unfriendly toward new people and I don't think I'm versed enough in SOP for departments I don't play in.

We won't release your notes unless we have to (to prove a point, if you want to contest behavior you've been accused of), because otherwise we run at a risk of everybody wanting to see their notes so they can laugh at incidents they've racked up. (That's a staff-only privilege, I'm afraid.) What we can do, however, is look at your notes, and give you a general idea of where you're currently standing, behavior-wise. As well as any suggestions as to how to improve, if improvement is needed. Oo. Then I'd like that, if possible. I mean I feel like I'm good, except getting into arguments over early ending rounds fairly often. <.< But I'd like to know if I'm getting annoying so I can steer myself back to the path of righteousness and I'm sure many others would.

I've experimented a little with this. My assistant Artie Dilligence, who usually is only sent to the station with a delayed cyborgification order in hand, and a vague backstory. I don't think it's impossible to do, but I think it's an option that could be risky with public release, as Skull said. That said, I think forced labor is an option that should be explored more in response to crimes around aurora, in place of permanent brigging.

Difficult to implement - there's not any code for it. Hook it to an asteroid, make it a forced labor mining set up? Also, it might be worthwhile to put the kitchen and botany closer together. Also I'd say the kitchen needs a food processor more than a cereal making machine. (Is that what that is?) Grinder might be a bit too much to ask for, but it's something to think about. I do like it, though.
