Agreed. Ideally scientists would have a handful of RP tools (think of atmospheric sensors, weather station, geological analysis station to set up, etc) they can take to expoplanets to catalogue them. What I mean by this is that they have a reason to use the Intrepid and fly somewhere.

What are you trying to achieve with this? This all reads like either a) change for change's sake b) "Other servers do it like us, too, we should change that." No proposed change in the document couldnt be achieved by incorporating it into Dionae as they are now. The argument "a more unique approach" I don't share - going back to nutrients, for example, as sustenance instead of radiation and light is less unique than it is now. The rest of the suggestions are more a re-flavour than much else, unless there is more you dont outline in the document.

Wearing the hardsuit all the time (deployed or undeployed on your back) is against the rules for as long as I can think for. If that is the main concern, ahelp the rule break instead of nerfing medical even more.

This all does not sound very suitable for a HRP enviroment. It's a monkey, that's it.

I'd rather see more types of injuries, diagnostics, treatment, etc. added than seeing medical nerfed like this. Also an OOC shift, where people don't expect medical to sensor sit all the time (which seems to be the case) would do much more than making drastic changes to the sensors. I find sensors boring as they are right now, but making FR miserable to play is no real solution. Maybe make gradual nerfs, maybe instead of showing the location you need to use something like the pinpointer to find someone instead (with a few more hints than the normal pinpointer) or something similar. I sincerely believe that such an approach is better than the crowbar approach that is being done right here. Outright removing sensors is no option because people will just die regularly in the depths of maintenance. Yes dying is part of the game and people should finally get used to that, but again - this is not only about the patients, but the treating end, too. Don't make roles miserable for balance is what I say.

It is neither an OOC reason nor does it "not warrant borging" - the regulations are actually quite clear. I noticed during the discussion in the other thread that many people have not actually read them. Also your solution to this topic is another antag draft? Because people who dont even want to play antag make better ones? I cant quite follow here.

Why do we need a third thread discussing this topic that re-heats the same points with different words? I really recommend actually suggesting an alternative to these two capital punishments, if they are really so bad. There are options to take (like brig, solitary, etc.) but usually antags who get borged are just an insufferable pain in the ass or not containable. Yes, you are right, differentiating between who the culprit is should play a factor and should be handled more gracefully but in the end this has all been said already.
