Hello, I will be taking this complaint. I'll be log diving today, and hopefully reaching a decision by tonight or tomorrow evening. Do note that this is a day ban, so it is likely that the timer will run out by the time I am finished deliberating on the proper solution.

Due to myself being out of town, it's been difficult to get to this. I will be removing the warning, you didn't do anything wrong, nor rule breaking. You didn't handle this situation the way I would have, personally, but that doesn't mean you handled it incorrectly. Again, I'm sorry for the delay in response, I was struggling with how to reply regarding the situation with the ex-staff member in question, along with literally having no internet access for about a week/being out of town.

You're not old enough to drink. Get back in line, junior. In all seriousness though, I disagree. Malf actually makes sense in this gamemode. And it gives the ninjas something more to do other than just "unga im gonna sneak around". Several gimmicks can revolve around the Malf and the ninjas working together, against one another, or being passive to one another. Just because you have experienced a few bad rounds recently, it doesn't mean the game mode needs to be removed. Rework it, don't remove it. Nerf the ninjas cloak. Add longer timers on the Malfs abilities, etc. Give security better means to work against a Malf. There really is no reason to remove this gamemode other than "I don't like it", and unfortunately, that isn't enough.

Pretty sure it was sheets that I used against you, because I made it a POINT to use a different material, with the hopes that it would make things less lethal. I was wrong, clearly. But my intentions weren't malicious.

I used it on Rosa.. twice? And all I remember was that it caused some bleeding and (what I thought was, at the time, just fractures) so I didn't really take note. Considering she was unarmored, etc. "The second time, I threw one twice, and purposely missed the two officers. Chemistry floor tiles" I suppose this would actually be the third time. I used the chemistry tiles in the Lab, but was trying to actually miss the officers. Hence why I started grabbing the officers and throwing them instead. During the conflict with Radic, I believe I hit the Unathi (Tau?) With the floor tiles as well, but this was before I knew Radic died so fast. Because it was hand in hand. Now keep in mind that this happened a few weeks ago now, and I don't have the best memory.

I guess you just heard it here. I personally have no issue's with Revenants using melee weapons. If they aren't mechanically restricted from it, then I suppose they can use it. Simple as that.

Alright bud, you had so many chances in game when it came to this kind of behavior. How do I know this isn't going to happen again? What can you tell me that is going to convince me that you've genuinely changed and you're able to fit into our HRP environment?

I used the abilities continuously yes, because the base ability of tk itself does no damage, unless flinging stuff at people apparently. And I tried to mitigate the damage with the change of material used. Bragging icly and oocly intentions are COMPLETELY different. Atleast to me. I can separate how a char acts, and feel absolutely shitty oocly while playing well icly. Just becauseI brag icly, does not mean I plan to actually be robust oocly. However with the Psiblade itself, I definitely overused that. But I again, did not know that they havea force of 50 damage. I also didn't take precautions to prevent any kind of security intervention. Stunbatons brought me down easily. I attacked mid sentence bc they opened the door and were preparing to barge in. Escalation had hit the point of shooting on sight. (Since i murdered you), I was openly hostile, etc. I don't really know what you mean by my antag play, bc the only other gimmicks I've done was a wizard who is lost, etc and a recent burglar round. Of which I took no action to even hurting anyone. Sure, I have intense rounds, but overall I do try to not kill anyone. But each round is different.

Really quick, player complaint is the right avenue. All I have to add is that, the only other time I used tiles was in the chem lab, but I threw it like twice, the swapped to "disorienting" the officers trying to arrest me. I really had no intention to kill you. I am sorry. However I don't think I wall slammed you? I do know I tossed you around. However, if you hit a wall, it wasn't intentional. Arrow and I weren't aware how strong the TK is. So, when I used the floor tiles the first time, the result was a COMPLETE shock to me. The second time, I threw one twice, and purposely missed the two officers. Chemistry floor tiles. Third time was also unintentional, as it was steel sheets. I figured sheets would be a lot less dangerous, compared to floor tiles. Why? Bc I have dropped sheets ontop of people and they walked away from it with like, MINIMAL damage. I contest the claim of powergaming. I do not think it is powergaming to use a ability and learn as it's being used, how powerful it is. Then take steps to try and mitigate the results, only to have it fail in the long run. Poor antag play is also debatable. I drove a story. I drove conflict. I went to the station, not wanting to kill anyone oocly. If anyone ever watches my antag play, it is generally very unrobust bc I try to not kill. I truly am sorry though.

Anger is something we all feel at times. And as long as you agree to follow the rules, and work on maintaining your anger, I see no reason to deny this appeal. It was kind of funny to be called "literally hitler" as well.

The skrell one. Witness. Time of Incident: She doesn't know, she didn't check the time Real Time: 10 - 11 AM EST Location of Incident: Kitchen, and Bar. Nature of Incident: [ ] - Workplace Hazard [ ] - Accident/Injury [ ] - Destruction of Property [X] - Neglect of Duty [ ] - Harassment [X] - Assault [ ] - Misconduct [X] - Other: Attempted murder Overview of the Incident: This one was sitting at the kitchen table, and was discussing the invasion with the Chief Medical Officer. She mentioned something about how foolish Sol was for trying to invade, and that she was happy to have beaten them back. Tactfully of course. Well, the man, Acran, became very irritated with this one for how she was speaking about it. She said something along the lines of "The only ones who are suffering chaos right now, are those dead marines." Though, the attack has distorted her memory a bit. This prompted the detective to go off on a tangent about how this one is disrespectful, and that he is happy he got to kill skrell or something. This prompted the attention of the CMO, who was not really a part of this situation. The man called this one a crazy bitch, then threw a burger at this one. It hit her in the chest, but no serious harm done. They then threw fries at the CMO for.. whatever reason. Stormed off, and began to complain and insult the CMO for whatever reason over common, while this called the Warden over to arrest the Detective for assault. The warden did so, since officers were lacking. This one then resumed talking with the Chief Medical Officer, but never actually got their name- her apologies. Now, before she continues. This one is on an anti depressant, prescribed by Doctor. Ashjir-Rreshisali. This one was talking to the CMO about refilling her prescription, because she had been out for two days, and was beginning to feel the side effects of withdrawal, which is probably why she was in a bitchy mood. Her apologies. Anyways, she went to the pharmacy and placed the refill request. A few minutes later, as she was waiting, the Warden and the Detective come in and ask if they can speak. This one tells them no, and that she is waiting for a prescription, though she can meet later. They agree and head to the kitchen. After the two had left, this one was told the wait would be long, because the cyborg, LUCK, had to update its database to process the pharmaceutical request. So, this one left the medical bay and made her way down to the kitchen, she met with the Detective and the Warden, and the three of them moved to the Bar, to find a booth. At the booth, they began talking about past events. The warden wanted to smooth things over between this one, and the Detective. So she agreed to talk, and explained what had upset her. She told the Detective that he had embarrassed himself greatly in front of the CMO and the Chef, and that what he did was nothing short of unprofessional and childlike. He complained that this one insulted the dead 'heroic' marines or something. This ticked her off, and made her say "She does not respect those who try to pillage the innocent" or something along those lines. After some back and forth banter, the man was growing increasingly angry, and so was this one. However; unlike the man-child, this one is mature and and adult. She was getting up to leave, and the man said "I hope they invade again." Basically sending this one over the edge to say "Yes, she hopes they do, so she can kill more of his friends." Inappropriate, she knows. And she was going to apologize after she said this, because even for her- it was too far. HOWEVER. The man pulled his GUN on her and began trying to shoot her, but thankfully the safety was on. She quickly disarmed him, picked up the gun, and threw it to the side, towards the warden. While this one tried to leave, the man came behind her, and began hitting her on the head with his fists. She turned quickly and began being beat in the face, and upper body. She defended herself by scratching at his face, and eyes. She was afraid for her life. Thankfully, the Warden detained him, while the man shouted "I'll fucking kill you"! This one is recovering from a gunshot to the right shoulder still, thanks to the invasion- and he tore this ones stiches by attacking her. She has bruising all over her body, and her head. She is going to the hospital soon for an more in-depth look. Also, the man was gardening after this. She was going to cryo and saw the man in the hydroponics area, just gardening, after brutally attacking this one and pulling a deadly weapon on her. Submitted Evidence: None to submit. Actions taken: The Warden prevented further harm to this one Additional Notes: She is not sure why this man snapped this way, but she does not feel safe working around him.
