  1. It's not my decision to make, and the benefit doesn't exist if nobody does said benefit. None the less, we need something at least to set humans a distinction between others rather then just the ability to "look, I can run long distances on a space station but that doesn't matter because why would I need to run across half the station?"
  2. CCIA isn't the problem, and we aren't going to be biased anytime soon. I don't think it takes a genius to predict that in an Incident Report, where your character can be permanently removed from the server - however many hours you might have - is just removed because "oh, you're tajaran" isn't exactly nice for both the player, and the inevitable staff complaint. EDIT: However, I'll relay your suggestions regardless to Mofo.
  3. I don't think that's necessarily that helpful for the species. That would be nice and all, but that mostly doesn't exist. Captains aren't one-hundred percent human now, and most Heads of Staff are non-human. Additionally, institutional discrimination almost never occurs - and when it does, people white knight and call it out in an instance, likely just leading to an arduous IR. CCIAA aren't ICly biased either.
  4. Would people know of it's (general) existence? If so, how will it be dealt with through regulation - and if not known, what would be the expected process for people to deal with it? Otherwise, pretty neat suggestion.
  5. Hot. Often times, when I'm not playing as my synthetic, I feel overpowered and overwhelmed by all the Xeno abilities and cool stuff while I just stand there and observe, being a stinky human. Would be neat to have this, either as a higher pain threshold or just healing faster.
  6. The complaint itself was made prior to Crozarius’s involvement in the thread itself.
  7. I inserted myself because you were shit talking my character, as well as all IAA by the way you said most things, and insinuated that they were all doodoo heads because of one isolated incident which you made worse by twisting the story. The point isn’t you blocking me, as I don’t need to describe how that’s within your rights, but the fact that you take this on an OOC level on the discord and shit talk me and other players as seen in the images above.
  8. Poison is a misleading term to use. I was looking for environmental factors that could have explained the health of the patient who had eaten the food poisoned meal. As well, the complaint is not about your right to speak about the topic - quite the opposite. Everybody deserves a say. However, you have completely ignored the opponents argument and done about it in a toxic, hostile (dickish) manner.
  9. I admit that in hindsight, it could be feasible to see why I would not allow somebody to eat while the audit was occurring, but I knew the food being served to them was not poisoned and I was doing a physical inspection on the kitchen itself. Additionally, they volunteered and agreed to participate and eat while I was to audit, fully knowing the facts as the case was publicized on radio prior and I told them in person before arriving at the kitchen. As well, you state that I said that interfering in an ongoing investigation is frowned upon. I did say this to you and for that matter the officer in question and Anya Orlova as a warning for any further attempt. The officer said that he was summoned to the scene by somebody (whose name I did not receive), and I suspected it at the time to be either you or Orlova. I did not verbally say you would be punished and jailed for eternity for interfering, just repeating the statement made by the CCIA Notice (available to all and announced frequently.) You bring up the HoP's enactments on the Service Kitchen, yet you have not even read the paper before you throw out these OOC accusations out on Discord for the previous month. I stated in general that the health and safety of all crewmembers should be looked after and upon by Command, and to look diligently with the Chefs for any possible violations in health and safety procedures. I also find it ironic how you say that when you bring up these facts, I ignore them - yet whenever I try to on the Discord or other means of communications, you ignore me and try to move on from my inquiries about your claims towards all Internal Affairs Agents. EDIT: I think my reply focuses too much on the round itself when we should be examining the OOC behavior, not just the round's occurrences.
  10. BYOND Key: ComradeCorbyn Game ID: N/A Player Byond Key: Crozarius Staff involved: Contacted Readthisnameplz (do not know the round admin) Reason for complaint: It all started with an incident rounds ago, like a month or so. I'm unable to retrieve the game ID at this time, but practically, a person got food poisoning from the Kitchen by the only acting Chef Anya Orlova at the time, whom the audit was mainly fixated upon. Command requested me to audit the Service Kitchen, so I did. As part of me trying to interact more with the crew, I asked for a volunteer to assist me with my duties in that due regard and have an enjoyable time in an otherwise unenjoyable round thus far (to me, at least). When I began my audit, Crozarious's character entered the kitchen with Orlova and they both begun suspecting me of my duties. It was around this time when a Security Officer was also called to the scene (mogelix) who promptly begun questioning my Agent and tried to stop the audit, which I proceeded to tell them that it was in my prerogative to perform an audit and restated the CCIA Notice of interfering with an investigation, just in case they tried anything. Yet, Crozarious decided to take it a step further and continue to argue with me and the officer at the time. After the round was over itself, Crozarius tried to argue in OOC about the topic but it eventually died down after the next round had begun. The issue has since remained dormant until Jackboot recently unveiled a suggestion to remove IAA. This is where my player complaint really is. Crozarius has repeatedly brought it up, a month after the incident itself which held no fundamental issues with the process itself. Each time, I attempt to defend myself yet still Crozarius just spins the story and tries to make Internal Affairs the boogeyman, as well as pointing a finger at myself. Crozarius has refused to solve this issue naturally without external intervention, and they even said that they blocked me for some reason. My main issue with this is the fact that Crozarius has yet time and time again painted Internal Affairs as some kind of paperwork boogeyman, who makes you do the absolute worst you can do in the name of "high-high roleplay" and as they put it, "pedantic realism." This especially is not helping the argument involving Jackboot's suggestion to remove Internal Affairs, and yet again makes the argument about it not nice to deal with, and at worst toxic (oooh). I Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? I did not ahelp during the round, yet apparently, they did about me and it was classified as an IC Issue. This report itself is not about the IC interaction of what occurred, but rather what Crozarious has done since. Approximate Date/Time: (The date and time of the incident. Date is more important but both are helpful) Do not know the time of the round (roughly a month), but the date of the recent discord incident was 4/10/2019. https://prnt.sc/nac1fz https://prnt.sc/nac1kx https://prnt.sc/nac1mn https://prnt.sc/nac1ot https://prnt.sc/nac1r9 https://prnt.sc/nac1uc https://prnt.sc/nac1vi https://prnt.sc/nac1x2 https://prnt.sc/nac247 https://prnt.sc/nac25s https://prnt.sc/nac28u https://prnt.sc/nac2bv https://prnt.sc/nac2e9 https://prnt.sc/nac2gf https://prnt.sc/nac2id https://prnt.sc/nac2lm https://prnt.sc/nac2na EDIT: https://forums.aurorastation.org/topic/11716-merge-iaa-into-command-so-the-iaa-job-is-gone/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-112356
  11. I don't think we should make this related to Departmental Security. It's two separate suggestion, and we shouldn't intermix them. Additionally, it's pretty clear from the feedback received by multiple people that this isn't something that we should enforce on the server as of yet.
  12. I like it. Just please fix the disposal piping and power wires. The primary issues I see with Departmental Security is that of the designation and tasks of the officers. Right now, I don't believe there are clear enough boundaries for officers, and it's most critically viewable when the General Officer is SSD, or there isn't one in the first place. It's a scramble at the moment, with unorganized chaos taking the place of a once better system. That doesn't mean I oppose it, though, as it's mostly intentional. But something needs to be changed about it, which I would recommend giving the Security frequency back to departmental officers to communicate to each other, while not infringing on the reason why they are departmentalized. EDIT: also maybe request consoles in each office
  13. Then we change it, simple as that. Reform over removal. Just because a job can be done by other jobs doesn't already make it null and void for removal. As well, giving it more teeth doesn't mean that it'll hunt down the innocents and try to slaughter them down with the boogie-man called paperwork. It would mean that it can actually have the power to change things that aren't benefiting anybody, not even for fun. Like 'shitsecurity,' or a Head of Staff stepping out of line - you get the drift.
  14. I agree that something needs to be done about Head of Personnel, but not stripping the entirety of Internal Affair's functions and giving it to the overloaded Head of Personnel as is, juggling between being the head of departments for Service and Supply, and on top of that personnel issues with identification and access and losing it, and basically being Command's secretary. What I propose is reforming the role of Internal Affairs itself, and actually making it have some use and not taken over by other roles. Make it have bite, teeth, and not just there to fax situation reports to Central Command every ten minutes. Maybe even appease your fetish for the title of Human Resources and have it as an alternative title for IAA.
  15. until

Great event. 10/10, honestly, one of the best.
  16. Title says it all. Just give ERT Commanders and Civil Protection, and or HAPT the Nanotrasen "N" SecHud Sprites that CCIA and ERT have.
  17. Likely replacing the old Command report that spawns from every Command console. I support this in full.
  18. +1. This whitelist should be allowed, love this.
  19. +1. Avery's a huge part of the community, on top of that an active admin who continually shows that they know the lore of Aurora and our setting. It'd be nice to see them as a Skrell.
  20. After second thought and reconsideration after weeks, I think the Elyran "passport" should rather be a badge of some sorts, where all biometric data is available on it. It would be similar to a badge similar in fashion to anything, really. Just needs to look overly-military, or something like that.
