I agree with Prate, restricting backpacks to the lower-tier hardsuits incapable of being loaded up would be well enough. If not for that reason then just to further the goals of the anti-Security conspiracy. And as Cnyam said, it isn't like people don't already drag along their backpacks anyways. Miners are especially guilty of doing it ever since Bluespace Mining was merged and unshackled them from their boxes.

Laying down in the water collapses your lungs in about five seconds.

Self explanatory title, I think it's dumb that we can only hold pressure against bleeding wounds while standing perfectly still. It might be a minor change, but it would definitely give a nice boost to (my own) survival rates with AB cases if you could actually move yourself to Medical before bleeding to death.

That's actually perfect. Big thankies from McSpankies.

Edit: I don't know how to read. Ignore this post.

Ever since the respite I've had problems finding these things on the walls, mostly because they just look like all the rest of the wall-mounted clutter now. It would be great to upsize them a bit, or at the very least change them to their old bright red again so they aren't as easy to lose.

I already don't trust our Security players to responsibly handle the tickle sticks that they have now. If you give them anything more lethal they can and absolutely will abuse it.

I like wizard as a gamemode and I really don't want to see if permanently binned by being taken out of rotation. Unlike other modes we've gotten rid of this one actually has potential, unlike MALF and Changeling. -1

You can hold any windoor open by double-clicking it.

Bump, because I've wanted this for ages.

Stethoscopes, since health care providers measure their clout based on their stethoscopes and I want to be able to rename mine. Also because I'm sick of interns and chemists (specifically) stealing them from actual doctors at roundstart.

Great. I'm hired.

Yes, she did funnel money to illegal paramilitary death squads in Northern Ireland. You may be having a stroke. I have.

Basic Information Byond Account: UncleJo Character Name(s): Anya Orlova, and dozens of identical carbon copies with zero personality. AI Name(s): N/A Discord username + tag: Jo#7482 Age: Legal Timezone: EST When are you on Aurora?: This place has trapped my soul, I can never leave. I'm like a ghost haunting the place that I died, similarly to how Diggiez haunts LOOC, and how Gem doesn't even play. Experience How long have you played SS13?: Since ~2016-2017 How long have you played on Aurora: Since April of 2018 How much do you know about SS13 (Baystation build) game mechanics?: Too little for having been here for so long. Do you have any experience moderating for an SS13 server?: Zero. By joining these ranks I'll only be selling off the last shred of dignity that I have left, basically for free. Have you read through the criteria thread; https://forums.aurorastation.org/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=4198 - and believe that you mark off all the criteria?: Absolutely. Have you ever been banned, and if so, how long and why?: Not from here. Not yet. Soon. Personality Why do you play SS13?: To secure valids. Why do you play on Aurora?: To defend waifus. What do moderators do?: Stickyban shitters and enemies of the state. What does it mean to be a moderator for our server?: I am become Death, destroyer of balds. Why do you want to be a moderator?: So the administration will stop hazing me into applying. What qualities do you possess that would make you a good moderator?: A seething hatred for any and all vertical spacemen. How well do you handle stress, anger, or insults?: Very carefully. Anything Else You Want to Add: This application only exists because Yonnimer has forced me to write it at gunpoint. This isn't an application, and it shouldn't be taken as one. It's a cry for help. Please help me.

Just steal the janky code we have that let gloves slide over rings. I know a lot of healthcare professionals all wear watches so that they can count pulses and respiration rates easily, and not being able to rock that aesthetic in Medical physically hurts me.

Modify the sprite to not be purple and not have a needle. Problem solved.

Yes, please. This is a video game that's older than most of the people playing it with jank ass controls which only ever works as it should a good fifty percent of the time. Accidentally blowing a hole in the guy next to you because you clicked the window to bring it back to the front when you could add a redundant fail-safe against that which worked before just fine is bad design. Add both of the systems together, there's no reason not to.

I think it's ridiculous that you can be shot eight times, burnt to the bone, and have your skull caved in with a rock and have all of the visible wounds from your horrific injuries disappear on your character sprite in a matter of seconds just because someone megadosed you with KeloDerm and Bicaridine. It gives people the idea that because you're not actively gushing blood on the tile or overlaid with red that you're totally fine and ends up shitcanning potential RP due to people meta-ing the situation at a glance. If someone walks into the Medbay being (mostly) physically fine but otherwise soaked in their own blood from head to toe (not just on their clothes) after being mauled then that absolutely should raise an alarm just like it would in a real scenario. They look that bad that for a reason, you should figure out why. Doctors would need to use their brains, their scanners, and maybe even read to determine your status. They might even assign someone to perform actual triage in mass-causality incidents. Perish the thought. I'm not sure how to implement something like this, but potentially we could just tie it in with a similar system to how clothes get bloodied, or to the germ level. If you get roughed up really bad you'll the part, persisting until you clean yourself off. Taking a shower, washing up at a sink, wiping down with a rag/towel, or dousing yourself with sterilize/space cleaner would all bring you back to your baseline. Towels would actually do something useful and Sterilizine would have a purpose beyond cleaning up after crimes. Of course you could always just set a pose but it's not like anyone bothers reading them anyways. TL;DR - Make lowering brute/burn not cause your injuries to visibly disappear as the numbers creep back down towards zero until you clean yourself. Bicaridine might work a lot of magic but it doesn't tidy up after the bullet holes it closes.

No idea what the actual name of this inventory menu window is, so bear with me. Preferably this option would go there and allow a quicker, easier way to help someone who's running on fumes and otherwise can't help themselves, as opposed to spending the better half of a century setting their internals while they choke to death on their own bodily fluids. Ditto for doing a quick tank gauge check to see how much air they have if they're otherwise incapacitated, out cold, or in paincrit from their lungs rosebudding up their trachea and into their throat. Quick scenario. A bald man is AFK and hooked up to a pocket tank. He's gasping for air in a perfectly oxygen-rich room. You click a button and after a (comparatively much shorter) timer his mask is tugged down around his neck without dropping it on the floor to be forgotten about. Now he's back on room oxygen and his lungs remain uncollapsed. The only downside I could possibly think would come out of this change would be inevitable weapons-grade mask tugging in depressurized areas.
