Given that this seemed to have gotten a little traction again I really have to post my support for this. It seems like a large part of the issue with borer from people who dislike the gamemode is that the borer itself is played by another player who tries to rip control of you. This could make it more bearable to players and thus make it a more favorable gamemode. The one issue I could see is that this puts more in the hands of the player to try and RP out being infested or whatnot which could lead to some issues, IE people just completely ignoring the effects of the borer and just playing as if they weren't infested.

I largely agree with Yonni's suggestion with some caveats, some of which have already been stated. Readd the wizard code, see if its possible to add technomancer abilities still, cut out the more horrid or meme shit like the staff of change, make it so you don't need spells to preform magic by default and put in chameleon kits so the wizard can dress themselves how they wish, then get rid of the name wizard and make it something like "unique visitor" or "empowered" or whatever. Technomancer is more boring and wizard was more painful, I'll admit, but at the very least wizard gave you more options and it was continued to be devved in that vein of providing more options while cutting the stupid shit (As Alb did with Lich.) it can be less CBT. I have no idea if nuking a gamemode is even on the table given that I've seen dev/admin staff before say they don't want to keep cutting gamemodes but if not then there's ways to try and get rid of the boringness that came with Technomancer and mitigate the shittiness of wizard.

Field Marshal Klyuchevsky's Bill Denied By Parliament 11.08.2464 Since the conclusion of the Second Revolution and the restoration of the Azunja dynasty on the throne of the New Kingdom a persistent issue has plagued the Kingdom. A minority of the millions of men left behind by the war have, at times, struggled to re-integrate to society with the shellshock and physical injuries left by the war. This is to say nothing of the Tajara who gave their lives defending the Kingdom and its peoples. It is present in many rural areas of Old Kaltir, Harr’nrr, and in the Zarr’jirah mountain towns. Children are raised by their grandparents, women have been taking jobs intended for men, and some veterans who returned are often destitute and unable to work as they once had. The economic issues of this have been poured over with many experts arguing over whether the Kingdom’s industrialization shall “balance out” this problem or if the citizenry will continue to face issues from the casualties of the war for decades to come. Field-marshal Vyakelas Klyuchevsky today in the Royal Parliament took to the podium to discuss this matter as it applies to the Imperial Army. The opening statement of the session, dictated by the Field-Marshal, began as thus: This speech preceded a proposed bill to increase the wages paid to Alam’rii in the army. After the Field-Marshal took his seat beside the Queen, voting began. The Royal Party nearly-unanimously voted against the bill. Several parliamentarians proclaimed it as unnecessary while some claimed that it was biased that the wage increase would only go to Alam’drii, hence their lack of support for it. Grand Duke Akym Yudenikh stated that it would be better to increase reserves and conscription even in peacetime. The Field-Marshal somewhat agreed with the Grand Duke on the matter of increasing reserves. The Commoner Party had unanimously voted in approval for the bill. Prince Serhiy Oliinyk congratulated the Field-Marshal on keeping the humble footsoldier in mind. The Officers’ Party voted roughly a quarter in support, with most of those parliamentarians being noted as having been military officers themselves. The rest of the party voted in accordance with party leader Grand Admiral Mahtra Dynhaas against the bill. Dynhaas uncharacteristically did not have anything to say about the bill. The Renewal Fraternity and Count Tscherim Sanguszkho voted against the bill and stated that they were simply standing with allies in the Royal Party. The bill failed to pass. The Field-Marshal gave his thanks to the Queen and Prince Oliinyk for their assistance before departing to attend a field exercise later today.

Leadership Events Held for Democratic Revolution and Liberation Day Amidst Heightened Political Strife! As the citizens of the Democratic Republic enjoy their Democratic Revolution and Liberation Day celebrations a curious trend has been noted across the nation and in the communities abroad. Political violence is a simple reality for this day. Competing rallies are not unusual and many cities, Shastar City especially, are not strangers to riots caused by pro-junta and Natediists. But this day is a particularly violent one with reports of several rallies devolving into clashes. In Trizar Ruralists and Followers of Nated argued over who would be able to use the same square as both of their rallies were set to begin within it. This devolved into a massive brawl later broken up by police. Amohda had seen a large convoy of protestors come to the PRA border. These manifestants were not known by the intense guard detail there who assumed them to be some sort of defector convoy and nearly opened fire. These are only a few of many reports coming of heightened political tensions in the urban centres. It is also believed that these rallies had grown in size due to extensive extranet advertisement following its spread across most government territory. Southern Harr’masir remained relatively peaceful due to the lack of banditry in the region as criminals once more hung up their guns to attend Liberation Day celebrations with their communities. Northern Ras’nrr has, again, refused to have any celebrations underneath Kah’nrir’s rule. The Rhazkjara Valley and Gakal’zaal have had their festivities greatly reduced. The former for a lack of supplies in the region and the latter for a worry of the Yizarus Brigade attacking during celebrations. Meanwhile in Shastar City a fresh new event took place besides the usual rioting. President Harrlala in a show of unity prior to elections invited all Rhaza-Akhran and party leaders to attend several events and dinners alongside her. Complications arose as Rrhaza-Akhran Muhr’fal demanded that his family be allowed to attend alongside him and several party leaders excluding Bakhteiarova Mirzakhani asked for close members in the National Assembly to attend as well. President Harrlala maintained that it was imperative to keep the group small. Rrhaza-Akhran Kah’nrir once more refused to attend any celebrations and remained in his territory of Northern Ras’nrr. The first location the leaders stopped at was at the Alzran Ekhranrar school. They enjoyed a performance of the national anthem from the students before speaking with the children. President Harrlala once more found great rapport with our nation’s children as many swamped her to speak with the President. Rhaza-Akhran Muhr’fal and Mirzakhani had both taken to the school’s Mahrro field to play the game with some students while Ex-interim President Brajrr Alnadruskiy spoke with the school’s staff about their curriculum. He was joined by Maksym Razin who remarked to reporters that he was deeply concerned about the children’s lack of theological knowledge. Rhaza-Akhran Hadjuk kept to himself and Rrhaza-Akhran K’marr disappeared at some point during the visit. A search was not held to find him before the leaders departed. The following location was the Shastar City Steel District. This industrial park is one of the most important in the country and produces an estimated tenth of the nation’s steel supply alone. More recently the facilities received a upgrade for safety and productivity using technology developed by our scientists at a research site on Gakal’zaal. Workers there questioned the party leaders on their policies and plans for the government. During this time the Rrhaza-Akhrans Muhr’fal and Hadjuk kept to the side to converse with a smaller group of steel workers. President Harrlala had difficulties in convincing the workers that the newest upgrades should be attributed to the government as many felt that Supreme Commander Nated’s leadership was the main reason for so. Razin capitalized on this by proclaiming that the Supreme Commander’s gifts to Tajara are many and that like Dharmela, his divine nature has given the Tajara in the Steel District boons for their industry. Mirzakhani was largely silent through the event. When she had been given a moment to talk Mirzakhani remarked that the Steel District was an issue as it produced a great deal of pollution that people in the areas around must deal with. The workers, taking this as an insult to their honest work, hurled profanities at the party leader while she shouted over them that the environment must take importance over Tajara as harmony with it will lead to a more sustainable future and a healthier world for Tajara. An early departure was decided on by the security detail after some workers flung refuse at Mirzakhani. The third visit was to a Liberation Army barracks on the city outskirts. The convoy taking the leaders there had to divert due to a rioting crowd moving onto the chosen path. In spite of their earlier departure from the Steel District, they had arrived at the barracks 20 minutes late. The courageous veterans and troops gathered there assumed that the visit was canceled after a rumor spread and decided instead to begin their own Liberation Day celebrations by drinking and firing their guns into the air. When the motorcade had finally reached the barracks President Harrlala suggested that they simply move on. However, Rrhaza-Akhrans Hadjuk and Muhr’fal along with ex-interim President Alnadruskiy exited to join the Liberators in their revelry. Despite their numbers being effectively split by their departures the motorcade continued to the former Imperial Palace to attend the gala being held there. In the square before the palace Liberation Army generals, Commanders Hotak and Hro’rammhad, National Assembly members, and Supreme Commander Nated gathered for an evening dinner. There was some confusion in the crowd when President Harrlala arrived with only some of the original group she had departed with. However the draw of joyous celebration with one another overtook this as the countrys’ military and government leaders discussed, drank, and remembered those who built our great nation. A memorial for Al’marii Hadii in the square was covered with flowers and wreaths to honor the great President. Towards the end of the gala Supreme Commander Nated rose to a stage to give an address to both the gathered leadership and the people of the nation.

Essentially, yes. Self-charging laser guns from what I see have two types. There's ones that just charge on their own and ones that require you to do a action to charge them. KAs are the latter, and being able to do that with laser shotguns would make them IMMENSELY more useful for expeditions.
-
What it says on the tin. The laser shotguns are pretty much the go to weapon for expeditions for obvious reasons. They're right there, they work only when the Intrepid is away from the Horizon, it makes perfect sense to arm yourself with it when you're off exploring sol marine outposts or other weird shit. Now here's my problem. The Laser shotgun has (If I'm remembering right.) 20 charge. It fires 4 beams at once, using up 4 of that charge. It's good for about 5 hits before you need to head back and recharge. Now, I'm sure most people can see the issue. My suggestion for this? If we're to keep using laser shotguns for expeditions it'd be nice if they were more so designed for expeditions. Thus, I think that laser shotguns should have their own self-charging ability. Make it a crank or pump like how it is for the Icelance where you can activate it in hand to start charging it or make it so it charges up shots slowly like some other energy weapons.

Rrhazhal Zarkradar’Akhran Honored With Ceremony and Monument in Kaltir, Klyuchevsky sworn in as new Field-Marshal 06.05.2464 Ringing bells signaled the beginning of Field-Marshal Rrhazhal Zarkradar’Akhran’s ceremony today. As the notes from the bronze instruments filled the streets of Kaltir a choir of wondrous singing women joined their voices to the bells and the triumphant P’rramas joined them too. This was just one part of the enormous motorcade that wheeled slowly through the streets so that all citizens who had come to give respects to Zarkradar’Akhran would have their time to wave and shout praises to the old Field-Marshal. His vehicle formed the head of the motorcade and was trailed behind by the musicians, singers, and several cars bearing members of the Zarkradar’Akhran lineage and military officers. Veterans of the land, sea, and air forces walked beside the motorcade with more joining as the convoy pressed on. By the time the motorcade had reached the palace, it is believed that over 100’000 veterans had come to see off their old Marshal. There they had entered the newly constructed Rrhazhal Square, aptly named after the Field-Marshal, which featured the constructed monument underneath a large white silk sheet. A stage was constructed around it upon which our Queen and Vyakelas Klyuchevsky stood. The Crown Heir Zhakmar Azunja did not attend as the Azunja dynasty believed he would be over-excited by the large crowd. Seating beside the stage was set aside for the members of the Azunja, Zarkradar’Akhran, and Klyuchevsky lineages, the army and naval officer corps, along with all parliamentarians. The members of the Njarir’Akhran Renewal Fraternity were absent. The old Marshal was assisted off of his vehicle by two teenaged full-blooded Njarir’akhran members of his lineage. They went on with him to the stage to assist their elderly kinsman in kneeling before Queen Shumaila. The Queen nodded to him before speaking. A long pause followed as Rrhazhal gathered his thoughts. He eventually nodded and had his kinsmen take the sabre from his waist and grant it to Queen Shumaila. Vyakelas then knelt beside the old Field-Marshal. Vyakelas nodded. The Queen motioned for both of the men to rise and granted the sabre to Vyakelas who slung it into his waist. Then in a grand display, the silk covering of the monument was let go to unveil the statue underneath. A magnificent black stone pillar rose several meters above the square with a beautiful copper statue of Rrhazhal Zarkradar’Akhran staring into the horizon atop it. It is believed that the statue will eventually rust into a wonderful patina. With the ceremony concluded Rrhazhal and his kinsmen departed amidst roarous applause. Field-Marshal Vykelas Kluchesky is expected to begin his duties after a gala in his and Rrhazhal’s honor.

Field-Marshal Rrhazhal Zarkradar'Akhan To Retire and be Replaced by Vyakelas Klyuchevsky 02.05.2464 Dramatic news has come from Queen Shumaila’s address to Parliament this evening. An important meeting for all sitting members of Parliament, the Imperial Adhomaian Army’s Mrraka’te’almalikii and Jabrut Almumalikii , the Royal Navy’s admiralty, and Azunja dynasty was ordered and all were expected to attend. Additional seats were added and much of the parliament floor was taken up by seated officials. After the entire chamber was filled with representatives of the nation’s civilian and military branches, our Queen took to the podium to deliver her address. Despite the disheartening news applause for the Field Marshal erupted from sections of the parliament and gathered officials. Mrraka’te’almalik Klyuchevsky took to the stand after Queen Shumaila stepped down, offering a bow to the Queen as he did, and gave a statement before opening the floor to questions. Questions were raised by parliament members one at a time. When questioned by the Commoner Party on how the ethnic division of the army and the payment for the peasant levies will be affected, Vyakelas stated that he had no interest in re-organizing the ethnic battalions and that payrolls will need to be increased to encourage recruitment. However, Vyakelas’ then stated that he believed the Rhazar'Hrujmagh battalions must be integrated properly as cavalrymen and trained to the same standards. He then went on to describe the issues that came with trying to organize the Rhazar'Hrujmagh to effectively fight on the battlefield alongside regular cavalry. Prince Serhiy Oliinyk stated his support for Vyakelas and his hopes that future reforms will benefit Alam’ardii as well. Royal Party leader Grand Duke Akym Yudenikh inquired further on just how Vyakelas intended to pay for improvements to equipment quality and supply in the future. Vyakelas stated that he will continue contracts with Royal Firearms but that the New Kingdom must look beyond its borders for new and better designs. When pushed further by Grand Duke Yudenikh, who believed this was not a proper answer, Vyakelas quickly remarked that megacorporations can provide the best arms available at a high cost and that additional taxation would be needed to afford it. This resulted in some jeers from the Royal Party members and an annoyed glare from Grand Duke Yudenikh. The Grand Duke sat down and refused to speak further. Other MPs expressed their distaste for additional army funding and argued that the Imperial Army may not need further support as it performed functionally fine during the Second Revolution. Vyakelas responded by saying that he did not consider the high degree of casualties and the near fall of the Kingdom during the war “functionally fine”. Grand Admiral Mahtra Dynhas opened up the Officer Party’s questions with a declaration that he opposed Vyakelas’ nomination to Field-Marshal. This declaration seemed to split his party as some of the parliament members appeared shocked while others nodded in agreement. The sitting admirals in the chamber shouted in agreement. Dynhas continued on stating that he believed that Mrraka’te’almalik Marrmeladov would be a better choice because of his valiant efforts during the war and highlighted that Vyakelas had failed to secure Amohda for the royalists during the war. This seemingly enraged Vyakelas who began to speak over Dynhas as an argument began. The Queen called for peace and both quickly silenced themselves. Re-composing himself, Vyakelas thanked Grand Admiral Dynhas and asked other parliamentarians for any questions or concerns. Some members who had served with Vyakelas stood to give their support to the nomination, which earned cheers from the Officer Party’s parliamentarians and the Imperial Army officers. The Njarir’Akhran Renewal Fraternity’s few members voiced neutrality in the nomination. Count Tscherim Sanguszkho rose to discuss with Vyakelas. The two engaged each other on the topic of the Rhazar'Hrujmagh with Count Sanguszkho arguing that they must remain more autonomous in order to preserve their “fierce spirit”. When the topic arrived on army morale the two men agreed that the Imperial Army should use more religious iconography in its uniforms and equipment to help inspire the men. However, Count Sanguszkho quickly angered Vyakelas and much of the chamber when he remarked “It is good that we have received a proper replacement for a mongrel fool.”. Immediately a cacophony filled the chamber as parliamentarians from the other parties shouted their anger at the Count. Some had even begun to fling stationary from their desks towards the Fraternity parliaments who started to rush out. With the chaotic scene, Vyakelas had taken this as his cue to step down and leave alongside the other military officials. The Mrrata’ke’lik is to be inaugurated as the Field-Marshal in a ceremony on the sixth next to a planned monument to the service of Field-marshal Zarkradar’Akhan.

Alright, here's the questions I asked our other applicants. 1) Tajara lore is pretty full and detailed as is and collaboration projects can sometimes result in your idea being thrown out entirely or heavily altered. How do you handle it when people reject your ideas or say there simply isn't a way to incorporate them? 2) What is your views on the current "bad" parts of the lore? Do you think we should tone down any aspects such as the child soldiers or anti-LGBTQ views? 3) How long are you hoping to stay in this staff position? 4) Would you be willing to offer non-writing assistance (IE Sprites, artwork, graphics.) to other members of the lore-staff? 5) What is your thoughts on the religion of the Tajara? How relevant do you view them to their lore as a whole and do you have any plans or desires for them?

Sadly there isn't much more I can think of asking here. But, what is your thoughts on the religion of the Tajara? How relevant do you view them to their lore as a whole and do you have any plans or desires for them? -

Religious Taxes on Kin of S’rendarr Members Abolished by Queen Shumaila 03.04.2464 In an announcement to the Royal Parliament today Queen Shumaila put forward a vote to abolish taxes levied on members of the Kin of S’rendarr. Established on order of King Vahzirthaamro, may he rest in peace, the taxation of members of the religious society was done to curb their recruitment. The vote was prefaced with a statement by the Queen: A wave of confusion came over the parliament. Questions to the Queen inquiring why she had taken a sudden interest in this matter were levied. The Queen responded that she simply doubted the need for this taxation as the Kin of S’rendarr were, arguably, a charity organization. Votes were passed only after some further questions were answered. The Royal Party and Grand Duke Ayem Yudenikh firmly voted against it. Grand Duke Yudenikh warned that the taxation was not just a loss in income but also risking terror groups using the Kin to organize themselves. The Officer party was majority in support. Dissenting voices raised concerns that this could be legalizing some sort of militia and taking control out of the hands of the army and into the peasantry. Grand Admiral Mahtra Dynhaas supported the bill tentatively. The Commoner Party fully supported the bill. Prince Serihy Oliinyk and other members voiced their content with no longer hampering the assistance of the Kin of S’rendarrr and their aid to the peasantry. The Fraternity supported the bill with Count Tscherim Sangusckho recounting how the Kin of S’rendarr was once a great bulwark against moral threats. The bill was passed with a majority vote. As of today, all members of the Kin of S’rendarr organization (If there are any at all in our borders.) will no longer be heavily taxed for their membership. It is believed that this may lead to an increase in their numbers in the cities across the Kingdom.

Royal Parliament unanimously passes support for Orphanages, Holy Father of the Parivara to meet with Queen Shumail and Royal Heir 29.03.2464 Holy Father K’rrirran’s arrival to the New Kingdom has brought about record-shattering crowds, sermons that encompass entire cities, and even lowered crime rates in municipalities he passes through. Today comes a new achievement of the Holy Father as the Royal Parliament has almost unanimously voted on a bill for the first time in its history. Since it was formed by King Vahzirthaamro, may his greatness rest in peace, the parliament has been fraught with argumenting and politicking that often required the intervention of our great monarchs. But today the proposed bill by the Holy Father passed with an astonishing number of supporting votes with only a few votes against. As of today, the Parivara-run orphanages of the Kingdom will receive full and complete funding for upkeep and education purposes. All four party leaders were in support of the measure. Grand Duke Akym Yudenikh stated that the proposal has become a point of pride for the Kingdom and that it could not fail in religious matters where “the perfidious al’mariist and pathetic Hadiist” succeeded. Grand Admiral Mahtra Dynhaas paid his respects to the Holy Father for blessing the Parliament with his presence. Count Tscherim Sanguzskho took to the floor to begin a lecture on how the orphanages could be used to help teach each race on their histories and duties in society. He was ordered to cease after roughly 3 and a half minutes. Prince Serhiy Oliinyk stated his gratitude for the bill’s swift acceptance and his hopes for a rapid implementation. With this passage of the bill, the journey of the Holy Father has almost come to an end. Queen Shumaila and Royal Heir Zhakmar have both agreed to a private audience with the Holy Father. Unlike the corrupt President Hadii and the morally, politically, and spiritually destitute President Harrlala our great sovereign has proved that she holds true to faith and tradition. Holy Father K’rrirran is expected to return to Sana Sahira after this meeting and will travel with a Royal Navy escort of light ships until he reaches PRA waters.

Massacre in Underground Nightclub; Assailants Flee Scene! 26.03.2464 A shocking massacre occurred in the very heart of Nal’tor on this sad day. In the dead of the night an underground nightclub was riddled with bullets by unknown assailants. The death toll is currently 9 people with a dozen others injured by gunfire or the stampedes as club-goers attempted to flee the scene. Underground businesses are unfortunately no longer a rarity in our republic’s cities. Many are unregistered and non-licensed; allowing them to become dens of criminality and unable to be properly investigated when incidents like this occur. This club was known as the “Keymaster” by those who went to it. Many were youths who fell for non-Hadiist countercultures in order to rebel against their parents and the kind Party. Among the dead is reportedly 1 underage Tajara. An eyewitness described the terrible scene as “Like footage of the liberator terror attacks”. During a show put on by a visiting band known as “The Moon-singers” several figures from the crowd opened fire on the stage with automatic weaponry. All bandmembers were struck along with some at the front of the stage during the shooting. Described as rising stars in Nal’tor’s musical community, the Moon-singers were well-known for fiery lyrics best characterized as symbolizing the short phase of anti-authority sentiments in a Tajara’s youth. Their band’s singer, Iannai Alanakr, won notoriety for herself and her collective when she thoroughly questioned Valyan Krrirran during the celebrity’s Nal’tor visit. She, along with the 3 other members of her band, was declared deceased on the night of the terror. The response of health and police authorities was slowed thanks to the illegal nature of the club. The investigation is on-going but it is not sure if justice can be properly carried out. When asked, the police of Nal’tor urged loyal citizens to continue reporting illegal businesses so that such a horror can never happen again.

Second Largest Gathering in the Kingdom’s History greets Holy Father K’rrirran! 23.03.2464 Massive crowds of the faithful are no strange sight in the Kingdom. Many Tajara of our nation continue to follow the traditional ways as opposed to the dangerous revolutionaries that pester Adhomai with cries of irreligiosity and movements rejecting long-standing institutions. But in Baltor, one of the largest crowds in the Kingdom’s history has occurred in the usually sleepy city. Hotels have filled up, boarding houses are brimming, and both nobility and peasants have rented out sections of their homes to travelers as people flock to witness the arrival of Holy Father K’rrirran himself. The coming of the Father was heralded with a contingent of Imperial Marine escorts led by the Field-Marshal Zarkradar’akhan on Queen Shumaila’s orders. No harm is to come to the Holy Father K’rrirran and no terrorist, bandit, or radical can even hope to harm a hair on his head as long as the Kingdom’s finest protect him! The Holy Father was met with surprise at the sight of the gathered troops. Leaving his boat he walked down and shook hands with the Field-Marshal before engaging him in conversation. While no one could hear the words they spoke, on-lookers reported that the Holy Father looked strangely concerned as he spoke with Field-Marshal Zarkradar’akhan. After their conversation ended, the Holy Father and his escort of priests and bodyguards were ushered to a motorcade that had taken them to Baltor’s famous Mez’gin clock tower. There, Holy Father K’rrirran addressed the throngs of followers using the city’s municipality-wide announcement system. Crowd fervor reached a pitch as the Holy Father’s speech ended. Many in the crowd cheered, some wept in joy, and the police and army troops had their hands full stopping crowd members from trying to reach out to grab or touch the Holy Father. Unfazed by the experience, Holy Father K’rrirran entered the motorcade again with the Field-Marshal and departed to travel to the capital. Three days of events organized by the Parivara will occur in Kaltir before Holy Father K’rrirran goes to petition the Parliament to implement his orphanage reform.

Father K’rrirran Meets with the National Assembly and Secures Support for Parivara Orphanages Shastar city has again seen a return to the bizarre with the arrival of Father K’rrirran. Citizens awoke to early morning marches held by various esoteric and religious groups. Chants, shouts, and the blaring Mah Kii rung out through the streets as these groups made their way across the city to the docks. The ‘Ancient Tajara Theorists’ have again appeared in their robes and deity costumes. Supporters of the Followers of Nated party had joined with them in what they claim was a separate march from the esoterics despite the two moving side by side. Party leader Maksym Razin was not involved in the march as he was meeting with other National Assembly members to discuss the upcoming vote. These two groups drowned out the voices of Suns followers who gathered to the dock to greet Father K’rrirran. Police units were deployed quickly to prevent any possible conflicts between the esoterics and suns adherents. Confrontations were minimal as Father K’rrirran arrived and greeted the gathered crowd before moving on. Voting in the National Assembly was quick to begin. A detailed report of Father K’rriran’s request for Parivara orphanage tax support was given to every Rrhazra-Akhran and party. The Father took his seat in silence and watched as the motion began. President Harrlala began the motion with a vote in support of the request as it coincided with measures introduced to help former underage volunteers re-integrate into society. The Followers of Nated voted in favor following a rambling speech by Maksym Razin about the importance of faith and the issue of atheism among Tajara. Rrazha-Akhran Muharajuurl Muhr’fal declared his full support for the motion and that he would institute it in his own lands even if the motion fails. The Blue Party’s ruralist and environmentalist wings came together in support of the motion. Bakhteiarova Mirzakhani discussed the temporary value for these orphanages until they can be phased out once ruralism is achieved. The National Adhomaian Worker’s Party voted against. Ex-President Brajrr Alnadruskiy stated that the motion “distracted from efforts to militarize the population for the upcoming battle for Al’mariism”. He was joined by the Rhazra-Akhrans Rahman Hadjuk and Ahem Kah’nrir who had both agreed that the motion was a waste of time and resources. Rrazra-Akhran Ahem Kah’nrir proclaimed that this motion along with the previous hearings was likely a ploy by outside agents to distract him from his noble goals. Before President Harrlala could press him on this claim he disabled his screen. Rhazra-Akhran Alexeii K’marr stated that his people had no need for education and voted against. Supreme Commander Nated denied making any statement on the vote. Commander Hro’rammhad stated that the motion would be useful for helping the population of the nation and progress towards the goals of Al’mariism. Commander Hotak stated that he had agreed with Alnadruskiy that the motion was a pointless distraction. With 4 votes in support and 3 against, the motion successfully passed. The implementation of the request will be that each orphanage run by Priests of the Parivara will have their yearly expenses in upkeep, education, and food paid for by the government. These laws will apply to the regions of the Rrhaza-Akhran as well. Father K’rrirran departed the National Assembly with a proud declaration that “Honest hearts and kind minds have won this day.”. Public sermons led by the Father in Shastar City will continue until the 18th when Father K’rrirran will set sail for Harr’nrr.

Party Secretary Yakiv Hadii Agrees with Valyan K’rrirran! Sun Temples to be improved and better incorporated into the government! 08.03.2464 In a grand display of competency expected by the Party Secretary, Yakiv Hadii has made a sweeping reform for the state and its children out of the plans of Valyan K’rrirran. Following a 5 hour long meeting between the two mediated by Minister of Education Kalim Khazdar K’rrirran had agreed to a set of new regulations for Parivara-ran orphanages in exchange for funding. The incoming reform is as follows: Each orphanage confirmed via a report to be run by Parivara members will receive a state yearly fund equal to 20% of their reported expenses of the previous year Official education material will be provided by the Party. Local members of the Ministry of Education are expected to file yearly reports on the status of the Parivara-run orphanages and its occupants. Inspections of the orphanages will be conducted twice a year, 6 months apart. Both Yakiv Hadii and Valyan K’rrirran announced the reform in the Campaign of Literacy pavilion near the Ministry of Education’s offices in Nal’tor. A great number of loyal citizens attended the event and cheered at the news of education reform. Some interviewed citizens remarked that they had come to show support for K’rrirran following his disastrous social events in the days prior. A quick survey had even found that many traveled from other areas of the PRA using the fantastic rail system of the nation. Spirits were high in the crowd and many had remained to behold an impromptu sermon Yakiv Hadii graciously allowed K’rrirran to hold. Minister of Education Kalim Khazdar was not present for this event but gave a press statement: With this victory for Hadiist education complete, Yakiv Hadii will return to his normal duties as Party Secretary and continue to work on the great projects he has begun for the people. Valyan K’rrirran will soon board a ship bound for the ALA-held island of Das’nnra to attempt to make the warlords and traitors there see reason. Despite the urging of his followers, Valyan K’rrirran is adamant on continuing the journey beyond the safety of the Republic’s borders.

Nal'tor Hosts Valyan K'rrirran, Celebrity Falters In Public Eye 05.03.2464 For the last three days Nal’tor has been abuzz with activity related to the arrival of Valyan K’rrirran. The public figure arrived in the city shortly after braving a week of travel in ALA-held lands south of our fair capital. Since then, events held and organized by Party Secretary Yakiv Hadii on K’rrirran’s request have gone on. Reception to K’rirran has been best described as “lukewarm” by attendees. Some events were overshadowed by preparations and celebrations for Victory Day. Many others of the so-called Father’s events have been riddled with an inability to answer probing questions asked by dutiful and intelligent citizens or skeptics. One particular event had ended in a violent confrontation between one of K’rrirran’s assistants and a group of attendees. Police response to the disturbance was thankfully swift. The Sun Acolyte along with any other wrong-doers have been punished accordingly. This remains the only violent incident so far involving Valyan K’rrirran’s time in Nal’tor. Other events of note have been visits to several sun temples to pledge support in their reconstruction following the firebombing of Nal’tor headed by royalist terrorist Mahtra Dynhas. However, when pressed by journalists, Valyan K’rrirran ignored their requests to denounce the very man who had resulted in the damage to these temples. A visit to one Sun Temple revealed the squalid conditions that the children staying there had endured. Plumbing was not functional, the electrical system was failing, and the priest in charge of the association spoke about a lack of funding to care for both the building and children. Valyan K’rrirran pointed out to a following group of reporters that these conditions were what he had hoped to end on Adhomai. It remains to be seen if the Party will entertain his requests for increased funding to the Sun Temples. As religion is not a required part of healthy Tajaran living many experts believe that the request will be ultimately denied. K’rrirran’s demand to meet with the full cabinet of the PRA ministry has already been denied. President Hadii has declared that he is far too busy working with Chief Naval Commander Samirro Qarrarhaz on a new model of space Tesla trooper armor to meet with Valyan K’rrirran. Minister of Technology Zhuldyz Hadii succinctly denied any interest in meeting with, in her words, “A old remnant of the past '' and instead opted to attend a Tajani-IV launch. Minister of Defense Irbaykhan Mirarkiizar is unavailable as he is enjoying time off from his hard position and PSIS director Harrrdanim Tyr’adrr was not able to be reached for any statements. Party Secretary Yakiv Hadii and Minister of Education Kalim Khazdar will meet with Valyan K’rriran themselves to see if there is any reason to agree to the figure’s request.

Father K'rrirran Crosses DPRA-PRA Border and Delivers Speech at Mezuma Father K’rrirran arrived in Mezuma this morning following a tense episode between Adhomai Liberation Army guards and a Republican police detachment. Father K’rrirran traveled to the border with a group of Republican officers no doubt assigned to spy on him. While processing the Father and his attendants, a Republican officer reportedly made a rude gesture at a border guard which had prompted an insult back to the Republican. In response, the Republican officer drew his firearm and began a stand-off at the border. However, the situation was quickly diffused by Father K’rrirran urging for calmness. Afterward he had joined with personal bodyguards and boarded a train to Mezuma. Pious citizens, curious on-lookers, reporters, and several rock nomad caravans flooded into the city to attend the day’s speech at the Mezuma city hall. The structure was formerly known as the palace of the Divine Lineage and had been the seat of the Holy Mezuma Empire before being liberated in the First Revolution. As local police kept the large crowd in order, the Father began his speech by leading a mass prayer before speaking. After the speech’s conclusion, Father K’rrirran went on to visit several temples located within Mezuma. Included was a stop by an abbey run by Sun Sisters that provided food for the destitute. Father K’rrirran personally helped distribute bread for some before moving on to meet with Mezuma’s mayor. Security remained tight throughout with the Father’s bodyguards and a police escort. Thankfully the events continued without incident. Father K’rrirran is expected to reboard a train bound for the border in the next few days after reviewing the findings of dig sites in the region.

As it says on the tin. When a skrell or other psionic figure enters srom anyone with psionics should get a "You feel a presence enter the Srom." or something similar. Just a simple message that informs a skrell if someone is using it so they can enter it themselves to speak with the person. It'd make the srom get a lot more use I feel than be just a novelty.

I like these a lot! Good work on them.

Assuming that this does not count as one of those strikes that come with being banned, I think it is for the best. A command player can just join as another role and new character, play, show they are up to date, then re-apply and go through the application process again easily. Times change and people can still adapt if they need to.
