I participated in two events during this arc, and both times, darkness was a major factor that inhibited me from fully enjoying the events. During high population rounds, it's very easy for the lighting system to get overwhelmed and break down; this results in tiles sometimes failing to light up at all when you step into them with a flashlight, or just take a very long time to update the lighting. Especially during the final event of the arc, I was part of the team that went underground, and it felt like we weren't able to contribute much to the event due to being unable to see anything. With darkness ahead of us, we could not navigate swiftly, and so everything was completed without us above ground. While I understand the desire for atmospheric lighting; until such a time as we can get a more robust lighting system, I would recommend that future events rely more on dim lighting than actual darkness. Either that, or provide players with access to tools like NVGs that can eliminate the burden of the lighting system entirely.

Pirate style peg legs/hook hands should probably be limited to making them in a round or for antagonists. Modern style hook hands (with grasping action!) and prosthetic legs/feet should be available. Always thought it was kinda weird they weren't.

I can. It sucks, and it's pretty much only viable if the blob core spawns somewhere people can see it. With the recent changes to the sec armory, I'm not even sure we still have enough lasers to rotate in order to make it feasible.

There's plenty of reasons why someone might be dying on green other than a rookie mistake or antag activity. Maybe they got vented for 0.2 seconds and RNG caused their lungs to pop. Maybe a blob spawned on top of them. Maybe they just got appendicitis. As it stands, I'm against this idea for the same reason I'm against the removal of camera access on green; why do we have sensors if we're not allowed to use them in our day to day jobs? Being on a ship is already a high risk activity, there's any number of reasons other than hostile agents why someone could suddenly have a medical emergency, it makes no sense from an IC perspective to remove medical's ability to monitor health and respond to routine emergencies.

In general, I think this feature would only be used in situations where command is either not present or incapable of doing it themselves. Giving AI access to blue alert is at worst a quality of life change for lowpop rounds that lack command but have an AI present.

I'd personally just like to see more of the IAC. As Cybs mentioned, there's a lot of places where the IAC would logically be involved where the just don't get any mention because they're not terribly relevant in modern lore.

Would it be possible to make corpsec variants of the different uniforms?

When I first joined Aurora, I remember there were a lot of gimmicks around vampires/cults that made use of the idea of a redspace that was somehow connected to realspace via bluespace. Haven't seen anyone use the term in recent memory, though.

Gamers absolutely cannot be trusted with shit mechanics. I understand where this idea is coming from, but it's too easily abused and doesn't fit the tone of the server.

It seems rather likely that the NBT ship will visit such regions as the wildlands (among others) and, with rising tensions in such places, it stands to reason that the crew would care if they're flying through contested space. Even if war doesn't break out, it's still entirely possible for the crew to be accosted by rogue Solarian vessels while traveling just about anywhere a group of canny pirates might find easy plunder.
