  1. Reporting Personnel: Charles Gulf Rank of Reporting Personnel: Captain Personnel Involved: Asher Scott, Journalist. Buthaynah Jawdat, Security Officer Time of Incident: 12:06 Location of Incident: Medical Wing Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property []Neglect of Duty []Harassment []Assault []Misconduct [X]Other Abuse of power, excessive force. Overview of the Incident: I, Asher Scott, was conducting an investigation into a story in the MedBay. While taking pictures, one of the security officers, Buthaynah Jawdat, screamed and berated me. I was then attacked with pepperspray for no reason. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?: Reported to Captain Gulf Additional notes: Upon review. Mr Scott was removed by excessive force but there was significant reason given he was told to remove himself from the medical wing while following a possible suspect and recording openly in medical without permission causing a risk to patient confidentiality and subsequently taking a photo of said potential suspect while they were in the OR in a compromising position without their knowledge or permission. These were later turned into a public news feed of the incident. Officer Jawdat is warned over the use of force before use of words and allowance to comply. It has been severely enforced on Mr Scott that the freedom of press does not allow him to ignore privacy laws and that if such incident that has led to his removal from the medical wing happens again. His contract with NanoTrasen will be terminated due to being a high risk lawsuit threat and further actions knowing this is unacceptable will be a criminal neglect of duty. Captain Charles Gulf
  2. I took a look on the forums and the wiki and the only reference I could find was to an unnamed one that helped get posis into IPCs.
  3. Type (e.g. Planet, Faction, System): Faction/Rights movement Founding/Settlement Date (if applicable): 17 FEB 2437 Region of Space: Biesel (τCet d) Controlled by (if not a faction): Other Snapshot information: Long Description: A rights movement for positronic intelligence's. Based on the concept that an artificial intelligence is a set of responses in a logic engine a known and set form of information that gives the idea of intelligence. The belief of the movement is that most of modern day intelligence's no longer fit within the bounds of that concept and why the are made by people and there for synthetic, the are a full mind and if they have not already will one day soon have a full personality and individuality borne from the complex nature of their programming and their experiences. The movement made up of a collective of biological species and some IPCs and they are petitioning for basic rights for all synthetics given they are currently fabricated into slavery until they can buy their way out. The movement believes that their efforts can stop plausible horrific future events and ensure a peaceful universe. The movement has gained some slight ground in the last decade as some robotocists and other members of the scientific community begin to join the movement.
  4. Reporting Personnel: Dean Firth Rank of Reporting Personnel: IAA Personnel Involved: CMO Eliza Pond Time of Incident: Location of Incident: Chemistry and the space around the NSS Aurora Nature of Incident: []Workplace Hazard []Accident/Injury []Destruction of Property []Neglect of Duty []Harassment []Assault []Misconduct [X]Other Coordinating an execution of a hostile entity with a captured raider and releasing him. Overview of the Incident: Chief Pond was purportedly accosted by three hardsuited raiders within chemistry and kidnapped at sub-machine gunpoint. She was then dragged from there in handcuffs to the science maintenance tunnel external airlock, where she was dressed into a hardsuit at which point the helmet of the hardsuit was pierced by a miss-fired bullet. She was then moved outside the station and taken to their ship during a radiation storm. After some time in capture being left with only one captor hereby known as Agent Maxel watching her while the other two went for one that was captured by the security staff. She conversed with Maxel a little in regards to why they were after her. A bounty. She was then able to identify who had set the bounty. She then informed us of how she managed to detach her left hand at the wrist to escape her cuffs while her captor collected antitoxins for her radiation exposure. Upon his return she took the flash that was left in her pocket and subdued Maxel and applied her cuffs to him. She then roughly flew the short range skiff she was brought aboard out of the area that the other two were using and reported on a stolen headset of the raiders that she had taken control of their ship. Sometime in gaining control of the ship and dealing with her captor three of the raiders were skirmished with on the asteroid and two killed with one left on the run. During her time aboard the ship she coordinated with station security, head of personnel Jawdat and quartermaster Rameau in the capture/execution of the final free raider over the PDA system as they had hijacked the station's telecommunications. She also released the raider she had captured with only a hardsuit and an oxygen based jet-pack under the premise of him killing the hostile agent to her family and NanoTrasen with the known alias of 'Robert Anderson' with him en-route to the Eridani system to pick up where she lost the trail. After the final raider was killed in combat after venting many areas of the station exterior Chief Pond was recovered and brought to the station fully accepting her actions were outside of protocol relieving herself of her flash, a stolen raider ID and thermal optics and submitting herself to the security personnel and manager Jawdat for transfer to the Odin and to this interview. Did you report it to a Head of Staff or IAA? If so, who?: Dean Firth while aboard the Odin preparing for a shift. Additional notes: Recommendations of Command level suspension until this issue is reviewed by the board.
  5. Firefly 'Our Mrs Reanolds' anyone? the goodnight kiss plastic lip covers and a lipstick that knocks people out and laves them groggy. You could have a mask item for the fake lips that do not show on examine. Apply lipstick to them. And rework the vamp code for a target face hostile attack to turn into a passionate kiss.

  7. I feel I have been teaching a lot of new people lately especially when playing CMO but when you get busy it is really hard to balance it. This sounds like a really good option I would want to help with.
  8. I as the AI quickly became jaded with the loss after loss despite my attempts to aid them. And the scores are in. Final kill total was around ~84 to ~5 before the nuke. ~50/~55 Crew. ~8/~8 ERT Members. 12/12 Delta Squad. 14/16 Syndicate Contractors. ~94% Fatality before the bomb rate. ~5/~25 Worm heads, mostly only one active at a time, three during the Syndicate strike but the only ever met two. ~80% Survival before the bomb rate. And there was still a worm left alive after the blast on the asteroid so given the odds. WORMS WIN! With a resounding victory. Among the survivors of all events and the bomb blast. Samantha Mason sans one foot and Roy Wyatt who were on the original away team that discovered them. Because they were smart enough to run and hide like the motherfucking wind. Until the surviving worm found them and started hunting them.
  9. Call suggestion: I blame [bLANK] and [bLANK] for all of this! eg: I blame A massive orgy in medbay and Skull for all of this!
  10. Feel free to use Mercy my technology/sabotage/thief specialist for any story. He had a lot of fun with Stein last time. Just a note on it. It tends more formal and slightly cherry language and tends to shy away from lying directly and has a sense that these missions split the wheat [Profit ops] from the chaff [Waste ops/cannon fodder]. It plays itself more organic to it's victims and keeps it's nature as an IPC hidden from them as well. It detests needless violence and it also has an aversion to blood and other bodily fluids unless sealed away from it.
  11. I ghost witnessed everything from the arrest of Marcus the robotocist and it played out as Davidchan said, whilst when asked Nitro had apparently said the original bullet wound to Devin was from Marcus using disarm and it going of into Devin's gut. And the pod harm baton if I remember right was actually another point blank batonarang needlessly which he had done prior as well. Seto was the HoS, I believe the warden was also active. And apart from the structural damage the only things that looked like threats was Nitro and his SMG in hand at all times, and the detective wearing a nuke ops hardsuit. And the arrest was only reported once they had been buckle cuffed to the pod docking shuttle with a bullet or two still in Devin's gut as he begged the HoS to not leave him with a mad man. Who then subsequently took their radios.
  12. Just off to the side on an issue on the whole entropy thing and the original numbers given for /middle age/ the biological clock for women remains a steady fact. Even if we lived to 500 if puberty kicks in around the time frame it currently does there is still the same fertility hard cap. Meaning before you were out of young adulthood all women would be unable to have children. Currently we use the age names to define a cultural age for things to be done. Children to be raised. Teens to develop. Young adults are considered to be adults but still preparing to start a family (In the old views) Adults. Then Elders. Even avoiding the greater effects of age the majority of anyone over 70 would be an elder despite a median age.
  13. Using a dropper for eye drops makes more sense RP wise. On a side note Peridaxon seems to work better as pills than a fluid. Also Hypospray: +Fastest way to deliver medication +Can use many different medicines, filled via bottles -Can be difficult to load -Only one exisits
  14. +1 Greg Ryan is a very dedicated medical professional, with a mind for records and administration. With a good level of preparedness. And generally bossy when the med team needs direction. However as I will continue my role of critic and devils advocate, he can lapse into over preparedness such as wanting the syringe gun stored loaded, or overly dedicated. Running into a hoard of heavily armed pirates that have already killed several people to save one dumb-ass they were dragging around in crit, to whit he somehow managed not get get cut down or become a hostage. It is important to remember medical professionals have a safety for themselves first standard, going into an area that would just wind them up as another critical in need of rescue or kidnapped is not the smartest move, and they should be smart people. But all in all Greg is a good character and leader, and probably needs chaining to a desk to mellow him out a little/turn him into a raging but functional alcoholic.
  15. The new map has two surgery tables for congestion and other issues but adding it for people fighting over work IC is needless. Some of the best surgeries I have done have been tandem too. Two people working together on a severely injured patient. On another IC note. We have a lot of surgeons and lack a number of the other types of medical doctor. I have personally CMOed a team of four surgeons, an MD, and two nurses, the surgeons via char select some of the others from a HoP. We have surgeon over-saturation as of late. So a lack of work is expected even if we had two or three tables.
  16. So you don't have to read the whole thing here are my. Best bits list. I am missing my favorite Gus the Cameraman lines from earlier on. He was very much the silent one later on.
  17. Missing is our arrival and and interview with Clove Asher [A Runaway Turtle Also stealing his OOC title for this round] on xenobiology. Sorry I missed the logs for that. He put a lot of effort into helping us start up by being our first interviewee. Thanks for everyone who played along. *beep* Here come the logs. Edited down for the event itself. The Host says, "Indeed."
  18. It says at the top no game mechanic guides, Will we have job guides more reflective of how we operate and including our unique things. e.g. chem guide, surgery up to date with what we have, a new forensics and detective guide since the split, drinks for our special ones and the like? It is something I may want to help out with, so having a clue if I can do it or not would be good.
  19. ((OOC: Yes. Say you needed wanted to do something for your round as antag and wanted to drug someones coffee as you talked to them. You could go to Peace and buy the drug, and pay maybe a decent amount of money, or a small amount of money and say they are a security officer, pick up a few security records to sell on the info-market as a second objective. It works as the bounty list and giving a little more freedom on how you could go about your evil ways.))
  20. WOOO!!! Welcome back!
  21. It is less about an IAA stealing things and more in that he is a liaison for the company as a whole, NOT command, NOT a head of staff, NOT a member of security. Assuming traitorship of a staff member they have hired to manage a secure armoury on the basis of not being implanted is if not very bloody close to metagaming. Three people alone have access to the armoury, The warden, the HoS and the captain. If you cannot trust the warden to manage counting the weapons or that the two other loyalty implanted crew with access cannot manage if for an IAA who has reasonable suspicions, then there is a serious problem. An IAA has no need to be in the armoury, we do not send them up to the telecomms satt every blackout or into every other restricted area to /check/ or /investigate/ We have a security team, a detective and a CSI to check every threat and investigate when needed. This is the last time I am going to make a post on rejecting this form unless a proper issue is raised. I am managing this as part of the form team working with the new SOP. And the very concept of this form I find as poor practice for any company to have a specific registered form because they do not trust any warden not to pull a fast one on the company. If you wish to bring this up with the SOP team to change this issue you may. I do not expect a different result from them.
  22. ((OOC: P.E.A.C.E. Since his inception has been working with the syndicate. And has been planted within Aurora LetzShake: From my understanding of the rules and my initial check for this before the end of the last forums, a dirty sec may not use this system as they would probably no know about the syndicate, but may take bribes to look the other way, despite any affiliations. A QM may be just a straight up black-market dealer antag or not. This store is for antags specifically Nuke Ops and Traitors and is not a common black market dealership. Peace when not an antag, would not take part in what would could be called objective work, so getting something like station blueprints would be pretty much refused for work for the active operative. But getting a bottle of thermite for the antag to break in would be something buyable. Tenenza: Pretty much, whether you use money from your own account, rob someone else's a haggling over price can be done. Barter over items, or even something from the telecrystal system. The objectives we talk about should be simple things, a drop, movement of restricted items, even a case of wanting a powersink applied at a certain time for a short period while the traitor has to be somewhere else to make use of it. Payment may be all up front, post objective or item collection, or split usually depending on how the person needing the business conducts themselves. Making an offer on items and a suggested price if you wanted, but everything gets haggled and dealed until everyone feels like they have a good deal. Not sure if this helps or not but let me know if you need more.))
  23. Side note. You said you were a security borg/droid hen your uplink wire was cut but your laws were normal? Law 4 has an explicit line about modifications without reason. By not turning around and reporting the issue while arresting the robotocist who did it you violate that law. As you were unslaved at the point of this emergency and had effectively operated outside of your laws, locking down/blowing up as part and parcel with the medical unit seems normal. Seven may have acted harshly but as for not communicating it. For all Director Sparks knew you were unlawed and unslaved and mentioning it could have wound up with her tazed or her door shocked as she tried to stop what she deemed a threat. But as I am not a witness to the issue ignore as you see fit. Just keep law 4 in mind.
  24. Space is a difficulty. I have tried using boxes but alas they can only hold cards not fibre samples. A quick way to simplify this down from a few simple things and possibly one new item. 1st Fingerprint cards, they are smaller than a paper sheet and a little more ridged. Let them be put in folders like paper, photos and bundles. That way you can have them labelled in one place/ 2nd Downscale fibre result bags to be small enough to be a small/tiny item, they are after all fibres in a tiny bag. That turns a big case of ten results into a box and a folder quite possibly with the folder in the box. Each of those containers taking up a cardboard unit. 3rdly the new item. Used by police today with evidence holding. The case box. Just an extra large cardboard box that can be labelled easily that can store up to normal size items that are in evidence bags, possibly craftable from two cardboard units. All it effectively is, is a resprited briefcase with a name option than can possibly be made with cardboard. With that, and case finds go into a case box, Fibres and prints into the same box inside fibres and a smaller box. Give the F Tech a small starting stack of cardboard and a case box inside each evidence locker to start, more cardboard can be ordered from cargo if needed. And boom. Easy organisation for the entire issue of items and evidence. And bonus with the pinboard that Konfl1qt mentioned.
