Ok, so basically the claim is that @Scheveningen is instigating all of these fights IC and is motivated by OOC grudge? If this is true i would expect the majority of these IC fights to be instigated by @Scheveningen and not @Sputnik5927. Does ANYONE have logs to support either of these claims? I see some singular messages being posted here but its hard to understand the relationship here without larger conversation logs.

Trick, man we have NEVER in the history of aurora allowed FTs depicting anything to do with breast sizes. Full stop. End of discussion. I myself told you not to use a particular flavor text picture of your character depicting it with large breasts YEARS ago when you where still on staff. I really have no intention of dogpiling you or insulting you here. The overwhelming majority of flavor texts never get read. It is entirely possible for someone to slip through the cracks for years with FTs that break the rules. Its overall not that big of a deal. When someone finally notices as is what happened here all we do is ask them to change it.

Descriptions of busts are unfortunately not really allowed here. I am not trying to imply you where trying to ERP or anything like that, i do not think thats the case here at all. It is just something we generally do not allow in flavor texts. It seems based on the logs here all Matt did was say "hey man you cant do this" and did not punish you further. So it seems to me thats as far as this needs to go?

Alberyk had nothing to do with the judgement on your player complaint, It was independently investigated. I do not believe he abused the system to retaliate against you. All i think you are showing is that Alberyk had issues with you he wanted to bring up officially (In a complaint) and he broke a couple of rules. This does not change the outcome.

Mack asked you in the DMs if your raging was ironic or not. You told him "No im fucking pissed you're dumb as shit and you should feel bad". You also said to him "I wish i could strangle you". This is legitimately the most textbook form of harassment I have ever seen. You do not have a place in our community. Sorry man.

From my perspective Alberyk did not use the complaint system to retaliate against you. Alberyk had absolutely nothing to do with the judgement against you on that complaint. The staff member who banned you brought up a multitude of issues. I dont think its fair to say Alberyk was re-litigating the strike. I do think its weird that Alberyk posted your play time though. We shouldn't be trying to invalidate opinions based on play time. Our positions should be able to handle a little scrutiny.

@Omicega@niennab Alright so here is what myself and Cybs have arrived at. You both broke the rules in that thread and you both where punished for it. Omicega was already spoken to about the conversation he had in discord and regarding the metagaming we just dont think a strong enough case can be made they where metagaming. Even if they where its not relevant to the complaint and a report should have been made three weeks ago.

Like I said I was not present during this event so i am not interrogating you or anything. @niennab So if i understand the dates correctly here this event took place almost three weeks ago. Did you report the incident in the screenshot to staff with an ahelp?

@Omicega @niennab So Myself and @WickedCybs are handling this. Just one quick question for Omicega. It seems Niennab is accusing you of metagaming and that your character did not know the cadet cryoed after "not getting a response on security comms". Can you go into some detail on this situation? How did you character know about this? I do not know anything about that particular event since i was not around.

The reason being in my opinion is because it would throw off the pacing of the round. Every single antag round can be boiled down into three stages 1. The antag engages in nefariousness unbeknownst to the crew 2. The antag's nefariousness is known by the crew but the antag's identity is not 3. The antag's identity and crimes are known by the crew. The station's resources are utilized at least partially to capture or kill them. Some antags start out extremely well equipped because they generally can only exist in stage 3 (Mercs) or have access to strong powers and abilities right from the get go to survive (technomancer, ninja). Traitors, changelings and other crew antags have the advantage of being part of the crew and being allowed to prepare aboard the ship. They generally start out weak and grow in power as they collect resources or they start with the traitor shop and while they will probably win a 1v1 fight they will not be able to defeat all of security. Thus all of these antags are incentivized to play carefully, acquire power and attempt to accomplish their goals. The traitor might bribe a security cadet to get him a radio, the changeling needs a single person alone to kill them and enough time to do it. The vampire also needs someone alone and a little time for a drink. What these incentivize is establishing rapport with people. I need you to be comfortable to be in a room alone with me in the first place. Maybe i am your boss or someone who helped you out earlier in the round. The point is i do not have the power to reasonably fight against the station's resources so i have to be subtle, i have to be stealthy and i have to roleplay. If we allow the changeling more points so he can acquire more powers we ironically enough might decrease the overall RP of the round because the closer the changeling gets to being able to fight against the station's resources the less he needs to RP with other people and acquire power. The more blood we give the vampire at the start the stronger he is. The stronger he is the less he has to worry about getting blood from other people. The greater a chance he can create a few thralls before anyone notices and the greater the chance the round devolves into anarchy quicker. If i am strong enough to break into the armory or the bridge and take on half of security you're medical intern will never see me the entire round. The idea is to hit a Goldilocks zone with antag power. You would literally need to give vampires hundreds of starting blood to compensate for their victims remembering they where drained. I wrote a lot. You don't have to read any of it. Just the next sentence and this one explaining it. Forgetfulness is SUPER POWERFUL and if you want to remove it you need to give vampires hundreds of starting blood which would immediately let them access their most powerful abilities.

Others have posted extremely good reasons why this is a bad idea. Completely removing the forgetfullness ability is going to decrease overall roleplay because now you're dead. The current metagame of the vampire is to slowly accrue a blood stockpile so you get access to the fancier abilities that let you really affect the round (Thralls and noclip). The counter to this strategy is the crew piecing together a number of crew showing up with less blood than they should have and investigating from there. I have personally played and been a part of many rounds where this is happened. It was literally designed this way. You personally being unable to remember the vampire feeding on you is good for overall round roleplay. If a player was allowed to remember Dracula slurping on their neck the first thing they will do if let go is run their mouth to security and the round escalates to the "capture or kill the vamp" the first time the vampire tries to suck someone. This is bad game design and its a pitfall skull intentionally avoided when he reworked vampire years ago.

Mel opted to just ban you instead of placing the strike. There is nothing wrong with her doing that. This complaint is now closed. You will need to appeal the ban.

Oooooh, that part makes more sense. I did not know they where on two previous strikes. I did not see that first screenshot either. @NG+7 Gael Based on what Mel has just posted I do really think you earned your ban here. When a player receives three strikes the bot automatically bans them. You will probably need to appeal this. In my mind posting "nazi propaganda" would be someone supporting the regime or something so i MIGHT be convinced the wording is a little off but that does not change the outcome at all here.

Ok, so Mel definitely told you to stop and you didn't. It doesn't matter what you where responding to or who you where talking to. You need to stop when a staff member asks you to. That being said I don't know if I see any Nazi propaganda. It seems pretty clear @NG+7 Gael was condemning Nazis with his posts. Feels like this probably should have been a strike @Melariara
