id be ok with nerfing the range, its mostly fine as it is now, but when you get EMP'd in your department because someone threw one in the hallways it gets a bit inconvenient. the person throwing it cant help but get collateral damage because they cant see two screens big with xray vision

Imo brogs are bound to the station, if you decide to valid hunt outside then basically rip you, i think only mining really needs it, while engineering can just make floors to move on while going EVA, I dont think the rest need to be out there tbh.

I actually really like this idea, though it might take away from the HoPs main workload, but that can help them focus on their own civilian and cargo departments that are often overlooked, not mention being the captain's right hand. I think the HoP should be less about "job change dude" and does more supervision on his own departments. (Not that the HoP is ever busy) In normal SOP times when a HoP is available their stamp can be used to make demotion papers more valid or process the demotion/promotion instead of the other head if they're busy.

AdminPMs are used to argue Why your actions fall in the rules, what you did was argue about the rules themselves, and that wasn't the place for that. And im sorry if you felt i wasn't giving a 5 star customer service, we were having a 70+ player event going and you weren't what i would call calm in admin PMs at the time either and that did not help your issue.

Bay had a assembly system that we should totally work on, i think polaris might have finished it. Its similar to the modular weapons fowl is working on but i cant seem to find the page, you make a frame and depending on size you can fit more assemblies, you get to wire which assembly to which and diffuse it by cutting the right power, if its a bomb you can anchor it to the ground and have it explode by either signals or promixty sensor, you can also make a assembly that tases anyone nearby

I use plastic mainly for ghetto toolbelts, as in the plastic bag. Not only does it fit on your belt it can house any small item, not just engineering tools

I used to have some good journalist rounds, my first was interviewing a cultist mid murder, another where i reported on a alien life form on station that security tried to cover up and got loyalty implanted, and another where i helped spread what the evil captain was trying to do on a mutiny round. Be daring, be brash, always have your recorder on and camera on standby. The truth is subjective, write what the crew really wants to read, does security really need all those guns? Whats the thing with a trifoil in the vault and why is it here? Why is the captain the only one with a private shower? Why is medbay so big?

Space itself doesn't cause IPCs to heat up. The lack of atmospheric pressure in space is what causes it. The IPC generates its own heat, and uses air with fans to cool itself (Like a computer). No atmosphere/pressure means no air to move. No moving air means all that heat collects and builds up (See what happens if you block all the fans in your computer). Imo No. Because fuck investigating, Ai reports should be investigated like other crew. If the AI reports john smith was beating up bob marble in tool storage, and you head there and do find their blood is in the place you can arrest them to investigate, check who why and when, its possible bob was beating up john instead. If the AI reports john has spaced the captain while john was sitting in the bar all shift, with no evidence at all, not really, no, you dont arrest people without evidence or enough suspicion. The AI only sees from cameras, they cant see emotes or speech most of the time, faulty cameras, EMPs etc etc can all effect the accauracy of AI reports, not to mention canon malf AIs, and the very common ion laws. The fact that you trust the cubic computer more than your fellow human is disgusting enough as is.

How come space cools down heat exchange pipes yet IPCs magically heat up? The fact that space is actually room temperture makes no sense unless we're really close to a star, but at that point we would die to radiation and what not and communication would be almost impossible As it is now, you can go EVA in a fire suit for as long as you have enough air

While im not a big fan of the character, ive seen Kfive on another server, from when they first started as a fun ruining comdom on haloween to a competent comdom that you can depend on. Characters for whitelist apps are supposed to be somewhat deep, you dont actually have to play them though, they're just a display of your writing ability. While i suggest on working more on the character or replacing it if you don't want to set their personality in stone, im also giving a 1+

If so, who?: no official paper work was made because by the time we were done the shift was already ending - Additional notes: the incident took over half an hour, effectively letting all the vendors empty their stock, by the time me and bob were finished with the ordeal all the reported broken vendors had emptied their stock. this level of un-helpfulness, stubbornness to be useless is just at a whole new level than I've ever been met with in cargo, this isnt just your everyday neglect of duty, this is refusing duty, and at this point i wonder why they're even hired.

Yea this sounds great, but i noticed i usually get taken out by broken bones blending my insides, infections or medbay leaving me to die, if we get that i hope we buff bleeding, give them levels, papercut, minor bleeding, medium and major, having the first two effectively slowed while major bleeding only slowed by like 30% This will blend in nicely since clicking yourself in grab intent does basically nothing.

You were manhandling the zombie as a virologist IPC, when i wanted to check if you had the skill to do so i found out you had set every option possible to experienced, i asked you to fix your skillset and to why your character knows how to dislocate limbs, you answered the question about limb dislocation with a reasonable answer (being a doctor and all) so it was not included in your warning. the part about your skills, your only answers were "everyone does it" "didn't think it matters" if my memory doesn't fail me, "You're disillusioning yourself if you think this is a HRP server, this is a medium at best" your attitude lead me to believe 'just a talking to' wouldn't be enough, so a warning was issued, you decided to keep on dragging on forever about it and wasted your whole round. the last part is your fault, and your fault only.

I prefer we port paradise's fish system and add more fish types. With glass panels you can make fish tanks of varying sizes, bowl for decorative fishes, small tank for hobbyists, large tank for pros and wall tank for industrial grade, the bigger the more fish it fits, Then you take care of the tank cleaning it often and filling it with water, the fishes need food to survive and reproduce, small fish can live on the magically infinit can of fish food while bigger fish needs small fish you grow on your own in another tank. Having it available from the start means less cross department work, so it shouldn't be available shift start.

I think garn deserved to get a construct, he RP'd it out, he won the engagement, but couldn't get it because brayce ghosted, ghosting is forfeiting your right to continue playing that character the whole round, since not even cloning can bring you back once you ghost out of cryostorage, so the unclonable part isn't really a valid argument in my opinion. But i also think he should've asked serveris first, if not, he has other IC methods to get a construct, like manifesting ghosts.

We could make some *emotes show up behind you, like *cough *faint *sneeze *bark *hiss I like this idea, sneaking up on people doesn't always mean gank, you can hold someone up, add a mechanic like the shoot on movement to stop them from turning, and remaining anonymous as you take off their shoes and run off screen. The issue with that is we don't always have CCIA online that aren't in round/involved in the issue. We don't always have admins that can hit the 'ERT' button for CCIA. Which is great! Crew will have to deal with the risks of the distress call, you cant expect the small ERT team in odin to always be available and communications aren't always stable with how frequent ion storms hit the station and areas around it

Right now you can shift click anyone in view to instantly see everything they have, and with the 360 degrees view spacemen has its really pretty above average. i have two main suggestions. Firstly, hide some items from a normal observation, small items need you to aim at the hands and examine to see them, tiny items would be the same but 1 tile away. Small items would give "He is holding something in his hand" while tiny items give nothing. IDs should also apply, you would need to get up close to check someone's ID, instead of telling what job someone has 15 meters away, sunglasses should also hide your face unless observed aiming at the head 2 tiles away. Aiming at the upperbody allows you to see the general idea of what someone is wearing, but you would have to aim at body parts to check particular items like toolbelts. E.g: Redshirt McHarambaton eyes Someone. This is Someone! He is wearing a radio headset he is wearing some mask he is wearing a grey jumpsuit he is wearing some gloves he is wearing some belt he is wearing some shoes Redshirt McHarambaton gives someone's face a good look. Replace keyswipe with distress signal, since its a forced ERT request that doesn't check with CC. If you truly need ERT you would take the time to fax for it, this will also deal with the issues of unneeded ERT as it has to be approved and sent by CC.

RP doesn't stop existing when there's no antags around. It's unlucky that I happened to be in hydroponics and saw a cool hideout on my mining goggles, I genuinely thought it was something engineers built. I bet it would have been cool RP too to have you blow up the station or whatever. However, I'm not going to unrealistically throw my hands up at someone who doesn't even have the foresight to deal with someone finding their hideout. We've all had times where our great antag plan goes to shit because someone stumbled in on us, we just don't all make complaint threads about it. You could've interacted with them more, threaten them or just wall yourself off and then get out without KILLING them and risking getting lost in space and then shouting the equal of ;HELP JOHN SMITH IS VALID the fact they didn't just harmbaton you to death meant they were ready to RP with you.
