  1. the round was ending at the time so that may have also factored in, i figured you would've left a note on them. it's been about a week or so

    Nanako Cooking

tbh, it's almost entirely the same recipes, not even that hard to figure out, you just get extra slots to cook at the same time
  3. BYOND Key: DatBerry Game ID: bNE-dd3J Player Byond Key: XenoTiger Staff involved: this is over a long while, but one incident i remember was ahelped and replied to by Delta/1138/schvsomething Reason for complaint: to put it simply, in the most direct and blunt ways, law lawyering as a cyborg when it suits them or their friends. and according to not only me, this seems to have been a continuous issue. some of the criticism from their IPC whitelist app is a good point to start, one of them: the most two important parts here for me are: 1: bending/ignoring laws 2: related to 1, disrespecting crew after their reply in their whitelist app i had assumed they truly cared about the criticism and took it to heart, but lo and behold, this shit is still ongoing at full force. the most recent incident that effected me directly was when i was a cadet, it was code blue, transfer was happening, i had already searched a scientist who came up with a full armory in his bag, so i was attempting to search another scientist, who then ignored me and started talking to epsillion, i had warned the skrell many times to comply. they ignored me all infront of the cyborg, i then aim my taser and they continue to ignore me, thus im only left with forcefully going about it. what does epsillion do? claim i tazed the scientist for no reason at all. i then after searching their bag and holding up a zora blaster infront of them, epsillion tries to decredit me by saying that bluespace bags arent contraband, implying that was my reason for arrest, which was a futile attempt since it IS contraband outside of science. what do we see here? god damn text book clique action, this would've been shit from a normal crewmember, i do not see how this is acceptable from a law bound synthetic siding with a crewmember who was pretty damn obviously breaking regulations and slandering another, why? "because lol my friend!!!" seems to be the only answer to me. this shows no progress since their whitelist app. another round, which happened earlier now, i was not the one directly involved this time, fiskap can shed more light on this one but the TL;DR version of it being epsillion ignoring and refusing to treat a bald crewmember with no valid reason, and earlier insulting them. Did you attempt to adminhelp the issue at the time? If so, what was the known action taken by administration/moderation? the one ahelp mentioned earlier was too a minor incident according to delta(and i also agreed) to be dealt with on it's own, and he suggested i keep it to myself till i see the same issues again. Approximate Date/Time: over a long while
  4. the only positive the HoP sec channel access has is letting sec coordinate with command when there's no captain/HoS the only negative the HoP sec channel access has is making HoPs think they're security. i believe the first outweights the second, HoPs are heads of staff whitelisted and i expect them not to be shit tbh.
  5. honestly the stun talisman is one of the most OP weapons you can have at your disposal, and they require no effort at all in neither acquiring nor using them. one click to knock someone completely unconscious, you don't have to worry about them fighting back or running, you don't have to worry about them calling for help on the radio either. the knockdown is so long you can take your sweat time dragging them deep into maintenance, cuff them up and then remove their headset long before they're awake. my suggestion is to turn the stun talisman into a trap, you will still receive it the same way, but you will no longer be able to click on people with it, instead. you click it in hand. it would spawn an invisible rune to non cultists, a trap. when a non cultist walks over it, they're instantly stunned(for a shorter duration), and automagically handcuffed by cultlike handcuffs, similar to bay's wizard cuffs, but they would also cover the victim's mouth like duct tape. what this will do is stop it from becoming a direct weapon, and give it a bigger tactical advantage, instead of walking up to someone and stunning them, you need to lure them into walking over the rune, you could setup ambushes, set a rune in a maintenance shaft and hide in a locker, you could apply the rune while you're running to catch people who are on your tail. if cultists still want their insta stun gank method of getting new recruits, all they need to do is actually work for their goal, stungloves/stunprod/radiojammer/handcuffs/ducttape can still work wonders on unarmored crewmembers. if the warden isn't checking on the armory every 5 seconds he isn't doing his job properly. but seriously; a traitor stealthily breaking into the armory is pretty hard, hell i heard someone deconstructing his way into solitary when i was near processing. and if they go in loud, that gives security a warning on what to expect (ion and EMP missing = bad robots, missing guns = bad anyone) and that'd give them a reason to arm up and be ready.
  6. i don't see how you could deny an app over a single (often used) joke. i can see that you either don't know bokaza much or that you're salty over something in the past. bokaza is one of the more serious players around and I've interacted a lot of with the two characters mentioned, and I can assure they take their RP seriously . though i agree the story is a bit bland, not much of the character is shown other than that they're traditionalist and motherly. +1
  7. i believe you need more time on server, the round earlier proved that much, not only did you commit suicide by sliming yourself, you had the genius idea of bringing a slime to departures and unleashing them for god knows what reason, causing mayhem. all while being a non-antag. i'll have to -1 for now. you need to familiarize yourself with station directives, SOP and most importantly, server rules if you wish to be a head of staff.
  8. in my opinion, decapping someone like that is a level of escalation above killing, i'd understand it if it was 1:30-2:30 into the round with many engagements between the crew and antag(s)/the guy getting decapped was a shitter, but there are times where it's just not justified. i think the same way that mercs can't just wordlessly snipe someone with thermals from EVA, they shouldn't be decapitating people without a good reason or purpose. on the DNC, i always thought it was SOP to not clone those who die in engagements with sec? also, on the round that caused this, the decap was just tasteless, only reason was to thin down security numbers, they didnt even put the body up somewhere for display or anything, so there wasn't any RP purpose for the action, merely decaping for winning. (which ended up with all of them dead anyway)
  9. That would be pretty situational to become such a problem. As mentioned, crew transfer shouldn't be a "I dead please restart" button. If you get killed, that sucks, to be sure, but you have to deal with the cards being dealt to you. But they may have been wishing to vote for a transfer before they died, then got shot, i would prefer to have this in effect before the 3 hours mark, and afterwards, everyone is allowed to vote.
  10. ghetto weapons are always an option, not that getting weapons out of cargo/science is even that hard. a well placed convert or headgib can lead to an ID with weapon access. despite the memes, the improvised weapons are pretty capable right now. the jamming isn't as often as it was, and you can actually fire the shotgun without it exploding, filled with lethals, they can outgun security in standard gear.
  11. remove the stun talisman and keep it as a hidden rune where when you walk over it as an infidel, it activates, maybe add cuffs that warp around your hands that are as good as real handcuffs.
  12. ???? i was giving them advice on how to go around experimenting with virology and how to setup their character skills. from the logs on server all nursie said was that their character needs fixing, without any real pointers on how. you did give some in the thread but they weren't bundled up in one response clear of passive aggressiveness, it's hard to take criticism when people giving it seem rude. even if you're a 2% genius, that doesn't mean you can take all the courses and work experience to get that skillset in 30 years, besides, it's also toeing the Mary Sue law, we had an IPC who knew everything about science a bit of medical and was also a combat robot, while maybe it's not so unrealistic for a robot to know so much, but it was simply too much of a snowflake mary sue to be allowed to continue, if your character is so damn good, he wouldn't be working in a random station in the edge of the local system.
  13. i have yet to have any negative interaction with kenji, he's actually one of the few good lesbay doctors left lately, but i think it might be a bit too early to have him jump to CMO, he hasn't been working here that long, and from the backstory he only had employment history in a clinic. while i +1 your app, i'd prefer you dont skyrocket kenji into CMO.
  14. The only interaction i had with ariff ended up with me writing my second IR ever, i rarely bother with writing those but that incident was just chucklefucking with forcegloves out of science. And the story only tells me of the second coming of another criminal cat with the same attitude as some "cats" -1 from me till i see improvments
  15. Id just like the note, the QM wasn't, isn't, nor will they be a head of staff in the future. Anyway, my first ooc impression and ny first interaction with CTs weren't matching, while he still makes an ass out of himself OOCly, they're atleast decent ICly. Though as a heads of staff whitelisted person you're expected to be nicer to people OOCly too. 1+ from me as long as you try to improve on being nicer to other spessmen players
  16. While i also dont know how mechanically robust his characters are, interactions with them are always as deep as their story is, and they put effort in their roleplay more so than the average joe. Im sure if they fuck up, they'd atleast roleplay it tastefullly. +1 from me
  17. As the two staff members failed to mention it in a clear manner, ill just have to give my onions on what you should've done to: Nuke the knowledge in engineering, age up the character, setup his records to justify his knowledge in the fields and get command approval before having the pathogans leave virology.
  18. yes but you didn't address the point above by sierra, if the ban reason was for powergaming medical equipment i'd understand that, but it seems to be over his skillset? if you take off the bit from engineering it becomes what you expect from a CMO most of the time. his score is 26, which isn't that bad, I'm sure if he aged the character up and set the records properly they'd be a few centimeters away from the snowflake line. there seems to be another incident as for spreading the virus, i understand the hate for it, but part of virology is to develop viruses, as long as they went through the proper channels with command and made it only transferable through blood i don't know why you wouldn't be allowed to test viruses, as long as you don't abuse it yourself. you didn't even give us insight on the incident and how it went, I'm not sure why you're getting so riled up and passive aggressive over this.
  19. t. salty chemist denied his valids
  20. im surprised you didnt get more feedback, i've played with misaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan-chaan~ a lot in a short time, they're the friendly outgoing type of person and they managed to become popular pretty quick, for a new face it was a bit surprising to me, they're over all a good character, although sometimes they go on hatchet sprees when attacked and i never felt that much depth from their characters, not that the latter is a bad thing, but for a whitelist application, you need a bit more snowflakes ontop of your cake. as the other two said, the whitelist character is a bit lacking, so try working on fleshing them out more. still, +1 from me.
  21. if you mean the announcements on discord, they were made because people were coordinating armed uprising during rounds that nothing had happened, synthetic nor biesel wise. just because of the event's canon, which wasn't enough justification on it's own. now if your character is pro synth and those solarian bigots start selling/executing robots infront of you, you can escalate the situation to the point where you can shoot the marines easily, not to say just to run up to them and shoot them, but starting with protests and into riots. and when in doubt, ahelp. we have trials staff for a reason.
  22. >this is the work of a mod and trial mod son, i am disappoint. into the actual app, i really don't see how this can spark that much RP, and from the app itself, it seems like another snowflake clothing more fit in the custom loadout thread than a custom item app. edit: fixed typo
  23. i was in for half of the round as cadet. Security ordering more guns is a frequent thing, sometimes the armory is just plain awful. and which according to radio, was. a few minutes into the round the AI asks if we're going to do anything about the men in red, and at the same time, people mention them over the common frequency, not only did they bypass the icarus, they docked to the station and were already walking around without us knowing. that is not what a normal group of people looking for their daughter would be capable of. two officers i believe responded to the call at first and one of them, started shouting "THEY'VE GOT A GUN" after that i went into a SSD seizure and kept disconnecting and reconnecting a total of over 20 times that round. but i do remember you walking off, avoiding security and then later reported to have entered science. now put these things together. armed individuals with enough equipment to bypass the icarus without a single note, they avoid security, and they're looking for the RD, and now they're in the science department of a corporation built on it's science, if this does not look like armed robbery/corporate espionage/attempted kidnapping then you must've been dropped on your head when you were born. and if the part that non of you where tajara is true, then i don't even know what you expected going through with his gimmick. asking you to surrender over the radio would risk you going nuts at the crew/escaping, seeing how the AI managed to lose track of you before, thus the HoS went to apprehand you all face to face.
  24. i think the mind control drug would prove a bit OP if it doesn't have a hard to acquire ingredient, maybe dusted gold(not that hard to get if you know what you're doing), because in bay, it's very very easy to get someone injected with drugs(harm intent syringe being the simplest)
